Hello, can you help me step by step to connect to the IFS Cloud on IFS REPORT DESIGNER

What server name should I put?

I have already created an Iam client

Thank’s

Hi @abdelmalek.mecheri,

Information such as the following should be placed;

https://abc.com:1234

abc.com: application server domain or ip address directly.

1234: port

Then username and password pop-up screen comes up.

I give the URL of the landing page without the landing page portion.

So if the landing page was at https://myserver.mycompany.ca/landing-page/ I would enter just https://myserver.mycompany.ca/   (I don’t include any port or anything)

You should have a login page open up in google chrome asking for the credentials you’d like to connect with

Then I get a page stating there is an internal server error, but in the IFS report designer it indicates that is successfully connected.

Internal server error displayed in chrome
bottom right IFS report designer. Successfuly connection

NOTE: We have a vTM load balancer fronting one of our test systems, and connecting via the proxy URL hasn’t been working. Directly connecting to the windows management server has been ok though. If anyone additionally has any idea why through the proxy URL isn’t working, please share

Thanks,

LEdwards

Hello,

I do not have access to the site "https://abc.com:1234/"

Thank’s for your help

Hello,

When I put your URL, this page appears and every time I accept the certificates it does not work

Thank’s

@abdelmalek.mecheri

To confirm, you are using your own server name?

https.abc.com and https://myserver.mycompany.ca/ are just place holders we were using as examples. The URL you enter should be your own server name.

In google chrome log into IFS cloud as you normally would. Copy that URL

Thanks,

Lavon

Hi @abdelmalek.mecheri,

For the IFS Cloud application, when connecting to the Report Designer, you only need to provide the URL. It is not required to provide Port like in Apps10 tracks.

For Apps 10, you need to provide the host:port when connecting. This is because the same tool is used for both IFS Cloud and Apps10 tracks.

Hi @Edwards

This issue is fixed in IFS Report Designer version 200.2.0002 and this version has already released! What is your version of IFS Report Designer?
