Field Service Management (FSM) & Planning and Scheduling Optimization (PSO)

Are there any instruction documents released by IFS for FSM app environment cloning? That includes best practices, steps, tips if DB is larger etc. And Is there possibility to only copy all configurations and anonymize sensitive data (i.e to be in compliant with GDPR act). 

Hello Team, we need to do one modification inside the PSO, Division column need to be removed from Teams menu inside the PSO. As you can see the highlighted view in below screen shot.Please let me know the steps if we can remove the division column inside the PSO. it will be helpful. Thanks,Shalu

​Hello , I am creating a task with an Address and a Place through Postman using FSM REST API.Doing so, I am sending the coordinates of the address in the request which I want to be used in the address at the moment of the creation of the TASK. However I have found that those coordinates are overwritten when creating the address in FSM. They are changed by  BING , which is acting as a GeoSource in FSM. Is there a param that would allow/Disallow this overwrite by Bing in FSM? The idea is to use the coordinates that they sent through integration and not the ones from Bing.I have found that there is an app param called USE_BNG_ADDRESS, which  does not work also. Furthermore, by deactivating the GeoSource Bing in the GeoSource menu it also does not work as expected. Does anybody have any suggestion?

Is there an equivalent to ‘Start Replications’ in FSM6 (on Sync Rules screen)? We are seeing active rules however the ‘Last run’ field does not seem to update on the schedule I would expected 

Hi experts One of our customer needs to display the refresh date and time in the dashboard( overview screen ).As you can see the image below customer needs to have only one entry that shows refresh rate and time rather than showing in each and every rows Can you please provide me some support to achieve this ?Thanks and Regards Shobana 

In FSM, in dispatch console, I see multiple entries of a resource, does anyone know why is this?  

We are using /PerformLogin api from FSM6ODataRESTAPIs in another app’s backend (not FSM Mobile), to retrieve the token. Can we pass this token as a parameter to /performLoginSSO api to retrieve the session token?Later we will pass these tokens to FSM Mobile through Intent, will FSM Mobile be able to use these tokens and proceed without login?

Getting initialization error -- "The request channel timed out while waiting for a reply after 00:00:57.9374805. Increase the timeout value passed to the call to Request or increase the SendTimeout value on the Binding. The time allotted to this operation may have been a portion of a longer timeout."

Where can I find more information about this Exception? I believe it is causing unwarted removal / exclusion from PSOIt is appearing on tasks which should remain in PSO, they were scheduled via Book Appointment  

I created a task & trying to assign to a resource directly from work task screen (not from dispatch console), then it allows me to change the allocated finish date irrespective of the allocated hrsbut when I assign this task from dispatch console, I cant change the allocated finish. It populates the date based on duration.What is the reason? I actually want to use dispatch for assignments but need flexibility to change the allocated end date with the same hrs.

Hello Community,  I have been working in a integration with a third party system and I am sending an outgoing message from FSM using the XML maps functionality using the Task Table as Primary Table.  On that outgoing message, I am getting a respose from the third party system with a tag saying if the message is OK or KO. Based on this asnwer I should update the task entity accordingly to save this value and do some follow up action (managing an error basically).  However, I have seen that after I send the outgoing message I cannot link it back to the TASK that I am suppose to save it on. Is there a way of knowing which task corresponds to the outgoing message I have just sent ? Or must we request the external third party system to save the task_id and send us as a response on this ?Best Regards.

Currently while attempting to print using any of the functions (print picks, print request, etc) in FSM the print dialogue is not triggered. -Attempted multiple printers-direct printing options (all combinations), printing automatically, use default printer-ensuring fsm user permissions same as regular who can print (active directory)-Hardcoding printer share name/port in app params-Ensure users have correct printer / share-Ensure printer is also mapped to application server The strange part is when attempting to print from the Reports Screen - Picklist and others seem to trigger a print dialogue or directly print (based on the settings used) without issue. The other odd thing is that the ‘print’ option from the hamburger menu also is able to trigger printing a screenshot without issue. Is there any additional configuration required?  Can anyone help point me in the right direction here?

I would like to create a scheduled notifications, this scheduled job should run on daily basis and send notifications with the number of Tasks that are completed on that day. Any inputs on how this can be done in IFS FSM ?

Hi all, This is regarding the Product Remove screen.  Scenario is simple. During a normal onsite request. User can use this screen to remove faulty PRODUCTS from Customer place to the Engineer’s Stock Place ID location. The stock place id is decided by setting the Place for Stock setting in the Person record.My question is are we able to move the product to a different place id? for example if user has 2 stock locations set up.

Can FMS call its own APIs through a scheduled process?Example: http://{{base_url}}/FieldServiceManagement/OData/purchase_orderWe are currently using FSM 6.22 with a on prem solution.  We have a custom purchase order table in the FSM database and want to use FSM’s purchase order APIs to create the PO through the app by using a scheduled process of the data in the custom table.

Service report not visible in my work screen , even though its not hidden . We want to edit the service report but can’t see it on screen . using page designer we can see its there. 

Is there any heartbeat functionality or any way to keep a dedicated FSM server alive?Any API available?We are facing issue with the monitor schedule jobs are not being triggered as the Server seems not being “alive”

Hi,Here is my travel cost model configuration. I am trying to achieve a scenario where the DSE will schedule as follows:On an empty shift, activities can be scheduled within a hour hour radius from start location - therefore offering a wider range for where activities can be scheduled.Where a pre-existing activity exists on a shift, limit travel to 1 hour from that activity to the one being scheduled.Should the configuration I have in place achieve the above?No max shift travel is required.thanks.
