Anyone have any recommendations for IFS Cloud integrated E-commerce platforms that we could evaluate. I realise its pretty broad but it would need to support multiple branded sites, price lists, order processing, inventory levels and shipping automation.Reagards,Alex

We shipped some parts on consignment to the customer.  Then consumed the consignment, but the system does not show the order in Create Customer Invoices.We have used customer consignment many times before and it always worked fine.  Can anyone think of what might be stopping the invoicing of a consignment order?IFS 10 UPD9

Hello, I’m trying to use “Save to CRM” functionnality from CRM Pannel and it’s loading forever when saving the email. The email appears in IFS but email body is never received by IFS.I tried to regenerate the manifest file and re-import it into Outlook. I also tried to change some CRM/SRM Pannel Settings. I tried go back to old outlook version. I tried on several emails including one with no attachment and only text in the body. Nothing changes it’s still not working. It used to work fine, do you have any idea of what is wrong ? Thank you,Kind regards

Can't upload pictures from iPhone (CRM Companion 10 app v 1.8) but download works - sales reps can't upload pictures taken on their iphone  (iOS 16.1.1 on iPhone 13 Pro Max to IFS APPS10 UPD 15. In the screenshot below, you see the 3 files related to the customer record.  Notice the first one was downloaded successfully from IFS to the mobile app.  The other 2 files failed to be uploaded properly to IFS Apps 10 and subsequently failed to be downloaded when the user tried to view the documents.In the screenshot below, you see the 3 files related to the customer record.  Notice the first one was downloaded successfully from IFS to the mobile app.  The other 2 files failed to be uploaded properly to IFS Apps 10 and subsequently failed to be downloaded when the user tried to view the documents.

We recently (last month) upgraded from IFS APPS10 to IFS Cloud 22R1 (Update 5)One of our users is having an issue whereCreated a new default location for the part2. Created the transport task with new location3. Tried to receive part but the new location does not populate. They are able to manually add in the new location, but this is time consuming and is not how the line is supposed to behave. The new location should be populatingThoughts on where to start? 

We have more than 9000 background jobs with this method every day.Anyone know what’s the trigger of it and what this procedure does?

We have just upgraded to 24R2 and I’m trying to change the default value for a customer order to the identifier reference from the Customer. I have the Value in the Site set to this: ${CustomerInfo.IdentifierReference} but I’m unsure how to filter to the particular customer selected by the user.

When converting a Lead to a Customer, we ‘d like to make the Account No field read only or hide it from view, to prevent users from manually entering details.How do we do this in Cloud (23R1), is is possible? 

The default is set to "Same as To Location" Is it possible to change the default to "Same as From Location" 

I manufacture parts that re then stored on a pallet, or in IFS speak, a Handling Unit.  But when I go to ship the items on a shipment, it appears that I need a master or parent handling unit  before I can attach the handling unit line items to the shipment handling unit structure.  Why cannot I just reference the handling units of the parts to the shipment. For example, I may have part 22047 in 2 different handling units (603 and 604).  When I create a shipment, its forcing me to add a “parent” handling unit (“Truck”) so I can then attach handling units 603 and 604. It seems and unnecessary step that I have to add already created handling units to a master handling unit on a shipment.

Is it possible to block the print dialogue for Staged Billing when printing a Customer Order Confirmation?Around 30% of our Customer Orders require staged billing profiles.Currently, the global sales team has to close the additional print dialogue as we do not need to print it. Every time they print an order confirmation, IFS wants to print the staged billing too, it’s only one click, but it is tiresome for the teams and we are hoping to switch it off or make it voluntary at least.

In my tenure, I have worked with several automotive suppliers and their customers will often send a transaction for multiple lines of either multiple parts or the same part.  These lines  may have different customer PO numbers.  However, iur customer order lines don’t seem to allow that by design thus FORCING our customers to generate separate customer orders for the one incoming transactions. YEs, we can combine orders for the same customer, ship-to, etc. on a shipment but I would think we still need to allow our customers to adjust/enter the customer PO number and customer PO lone number on OUR customer order lines..Thoughts?

Hello, I have a client that has a distribution order with the same “Planned Receipt Date” as the customer order “Planned Delivery Date”.They want a one-day buffer between them. We have changed dates in the Supply Chain Matrix, lead times, safety lead times, etc. and still the dates are the same. I did not think this was standard functionality.Am I missing something?  

 The Business Calendar in IFS Cloud is topping at 4pm ?Any possibility to adjust the view ? Most users require a time span of 8am-6pmThe only option is: “SHOW FULL DAY”, which makes the calendar twice as long as needed and unfortunately, this setting is not saved in the personal profile. 

Hi colleagues,We have a customer who is able to produce and ship the demanded part quantity the same date the customer order is created (with ‘today’ as wanted delivery date). They will then, create the customer order (CTO process), handle the shop order process and delivery at customer’s address all in the same day.Usually they stock WIP and when needed they are pulled to build and ship the same day. Before agreeing the ship date they need to be sure they have enough materials (including WIP) and they want to use the capability check for that purpose.However Capabiilty check will consider as not feasible anything that is planned earlier than first working day after today’s date so capability check and same day shipping are not compatible.I got some questions:¿Is the availability check an alternative for them? I mean, setting the availability check for the whole structure (I guess that will impact performance) since apparently the constraint is not

Here’s a brief overview of our requirements: Role-Specific Discount Caps: Different users (e.g., Account Executives, Retail Managers, Retail Senior Managers) have varying authority levels for approving discounts, which should trigger the appropriate approval workflow based on the discount amount. Approval Hierarchy: Discounts above certain thresholds must escalate to supervisors, managers, or the Head of Department for approval. Discounts:Salesperson: 5% limit to $600 dollars Supervisor: $600 to 10k

I would like to add a Brand field to the PartCatalog Entity, and I would like the user to select from a list of values in the ServiceBrand Entity.   In App10, we currently use an enumeration field but since there is a native brand field in the Request Management area, we prefer to use the native table.When I try to add a field to the PartCatalog entity, I am unable to reference the ServiceBrand Entity.Any suggestions?

Normally using StrTranslate function we can translate given text, but when we have a comma in the text it will not translate the string beyond that poiint. It will skip the remaining part of the text. E.g:-‘Please translate me, I have a comma’ vldtstr:strTranslate(../../../tns:PROCESSING_INFO/tns:FORMATTING_OPTIONS/tns:LANG_CODE,'en,de','Please translate me, I have a comma,Bitte übersetzen Sie mich, ich habe ein Komma','Please translate me, I have a comma') Result: en: Please translate me (missing ‘, I have a comma’)de: Bitte übersetzen Sie mich (missing ‘, ich habe ein Komma’) 

Have an issue where I noticed that t Italian Company's Alt Delivery Note Nos sometimes skip a place. (not according to the sequential order)  According to the users in Italy these Alt Delivery Note Nos must come out in sequential order per the fiscal authority. Gaps should not occur.  

 I am executing a migration of Business Opportunities on IFS Cloud 24R1 Once the Business Opportunities have been migrated, I need to execute the Confirm Sales Process function on each Business Opportunity. I will be doing this using a migration job.I have been unable to locate the method to be used for this in the BUSINESS_OPPORTUNITY_API Packages list on the Entity page.Does anyone know which method to use here ?

The page help talks a lot about WHAT S&OP is but it offers little guidance on HOW to use S&OP.  Does anyone have good, recent training materials that I can use to learn it before I teach the customer how to use it?  Thanks!

Hi,  In Apps 10, we have the ability to create a Mail Merge from the Customer Contacts screen.  Does this functionality in Cloud exist and if so, is it related to Marketing Lists? I can’t see any documentation for Mail Marge in Cloud 24 R2:  See 13.5 : Mail Merge. IFS Cloud Documentation ThanksTom
