Hello.By adding a new line in the purchase requisition screen in the no part requisition lines, we have the following error message when we mention the supplier :A Tax Code is required when supplier tax validation has Transaction Level selected on Company, Tax Control tabI noticed that the tax code is not automatically filled and even if we fill it, the error keeps poping.Other information, the status is set to planned.Any idea to fix this?IFS APPS 10 UPD 5

An error "ORA-01403: no data found" we tried to release a blocked order in "Handle Blocked Customer Orders".   

When invoicing have blocked lines by mistake.I now cannot find the orderHow do I find the order and unblock so I can invoice the whole order please

I have properly creating a sales process and marked it as the default. However, whenever I create a new business opportunity, the “Sales Process” field is not defaulting to the Default Sales Process. What is the issue? This is for IFS Aurena with IFS 10.    

 Hi,I was wondering whether we can merge CRM accounts (Category = Customer) if they are not connected to any objects or do not have any transactions in the system.One of our customers using IFS Cloud has integrated IFS with an external POS system. They import CRM accounts from POS system and save these as customers (category = customer). The CRM account is labelled as duplicate, but we cannot see the “Merge Account” command on the header to merge the duplicate with the original account.I understand that merge account work ok for prospects but couldn’t find a document explaining any limitations or why it’s not supposed to work for new CRM accounts when the category is customer. Is this the intended behaviour for CRM accounts of type “Customer”, even if duplicate records don’t connect with any objects or do not have transactions previously recorded in the system? I would like to see how other customers handle duplicate checks and merge CRM accounts when they import accounts directly from

In 25R1, I am creating a Customer from the New Contact Screen.The duplicate check rule for single hit and combined hit are set as Active.The duplicate check action setup Default Action has been set as Prevent Save and set as Active.I entered the exact same name as a Customer that already exists.However, the duplicate check does not prevent the record from being saved.Any ideas as to the reason for this failure on the duplicate check ?    

I’d like to add a new stage to an existing Sales Process. I have added the new stage to the correct existing Sales Process Template, but now I am unable to add the stage to the Sales Process. Need help.     

Hello all, does anyone has experience how it is possible to modify existing sales contract revision line items using Contract Change Order in IFS Cloud (25R1)? The only thing I am able to do with Contract Change Order is to add new line or new items to existing sales contract revision. According to IFS Documentation, it is CURRENTLY not possible to change existing sales contract items by Contract Change Order - since there is the word “Currently”, I understand that this functionality was available in the past releases or even IFS versions. Does anyone know if this funcionality is planned to be added again within future release of IFS Cloud?   In general, if you are using sales contract and you need to let’s say change/update data on existing sales contract revision line item (e.g. quantity, sales rate...) or you need to delete any sales contract revision line item, what are the steps you include in your process? Do you use new sales contract revision version to execute such changes?  T

Hi,  We’re currently using 24R2. I have the requirement of being able to adjust and track updating the Sales Contract Line Item Quantity as Planned Demand differs from Actual Demand. As an example, Part A is an Item on Line 1 of my Sales Contract with a required Quantity of 100 currently. However, the demand for Part is actually 50 and we need to create a new Sales Contract Revision to reflect the changes. Currently, we create a new Item Line with Part A with a Quantity = -50 to reflect this change, however, we can’t accept negative quantity lines going forward, as connected Business Opportunities cannot have negative quantity lines. With this in mind, I’ve been exploring the usage of Contract Change Orders in a test environment, which seem great for being able to Add New Line Items to my Sales Contract and have them be tracked/approved etc. However, I can’t seem to be able to just edit/reduce the Quantity of Part A on Line 1 of my Sales Contract from 100 to 50 and track this change. I

Scan Sales Quotation error messageI'm trying to use the Scan  Sales Quotation, but I'm having the error: “This feature is not available. Please try again or contact your system administrator regarding AI services.” when I try to click next. I have the AI service my IFS implementation mode is Remote IFS version 25.1.5Anyone has any clue about what to do?

Our customers require the “Estimated Time of Departure (ETD)” and “Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA)” fields in Customer Order details or Ship or Shipment.Because those dates must be printed on the invoice and packing list.However, I think about those two items do not exist in Customer Order details.As an alternative, should we add items using custom fields?

Hi Heros,I can see at “apps for page designer” on IFS CRM Companion the option  SCAN NEW CONTACT, but when open the CRM Companion app, the option does not exist. Do you have any Idea how to enable the option in the app?IFS Version: 25R1

In 25R1, a requirement has been raised for an Opportunity that will have multi year renewals to be pursued at the end of every year. Example :Business Opportunity 1001 is for $20k - this has been won and then needs to be included for the next year again as an Opportunity for $20k and again in the following year. What is the best way to handle this in IFS CRM ?

We are using Business Opportunities and try to follow the sales pipeline development over time. We have IFS Cloud 24R1 SU4. When looking at the pipeline data we have significantly lower number of business opportunities in the  snapshot compared to when we look at the business opportunity at any given moment in time. We do the same query by status of BO, excluding, Cancelled, Closed and On Hold,  so is there something I’m missing here. I assume that every snapshot should contain all BO or is it just the ones that are changed from last snapshot. We where missing about 37% of the BO in the snapshot.   Anyone else experienced this issue?

Is there recommended integration projections that we can use?In pervious versions, we were using WMSINT that contain 6 messages to make the integration work between IFS and a WMS work. It is often the case in our industry, that the Business Opportunity starts with one customer, but the final product is purchased and delivered to another one. Or, that the customer want the Sales Order to be addressed to another of their companies/accounts. Our challenge now is, that we are not able to change the Account of the Business Opportunity, as the Sales Quotation is attached. It is neither possible to change the Account of the Sales Quotation, because that is attached to the Business Opportunity. The only option seems to be to cancel current Business Opportunity and Sales Quotation, and redo them to the new account. Which is a lot of work. Is there a go-around, how we can during the process change the Account connected to Business Opportunity after Sales Quotation has been created (preferable without losing information)?

Hi all, We’re currently using IFS (IFS Cloud 22R1) and have come across an issue regarding customer order charges.When a customer order includes a freight charge without connecting to any order line and the customer has already reached their credit limit, the order gets credit blocked — as expected. However, the system still processes and invoices the charge line separately, even though the order is not delivered.Has anyone experienced this?Is there a way to stop IFS from invoicing order charges separately in such cases, or is this a known system limitation?Appreciate any insights or suggested workarounds! Best regards,Harsha

We have created a contact duplicate check based on a contact’s email and need to make email a required field in all contact creation locations. Unlike other dialogs, the Add Contact dialog does not appear in page designer. How do you edit these dialogs in IFS Cloud? If you know in Aurena, I’m sure the same would apply to Cloud.Thank you!

Hi all,We currently have two different companies using Business Opportunities and CRM in IFS Apps 10.Is it possible to restrict Business Opportunities so that users only see records associated with their own company or site — while allowing managers or admin users access to all companies/sites?We’ve seen this kind of access control seems possible in IFS Cloud, but we haven’t been able to replicate it in Apps 10.Example:Joe Bloggs is assigned to TestCompany1. When he opens Business Opportunities, he should only see TestCompany1’s opportunities — not any from TestCompany2. However, a manager or admin should be able to see both.Is this kind of filtering possible in Apps 10? If so, how can we set it up?Thanks in advance!

In 25R1, when creating a new Opportunity the Company field defaults to the User’s default Company.In my solution, I want the End User to be able to see a blank Company field and select the Company from a list rather than defaulting to the User’s default Company.I looked at using Page Designer but cannot see any options there.Any ideas ?
