Hi everyone,I’m trying to confirm two things about standard IFS functionality on Business Opportunities and Projects. ​​ Can a Business Opportunity be connected to or converted into a Project (in the Project Management Module)?  Does the Opportunity status matter? For example, can an Opportunity in Closed, Won, or Lost status still be converted to a Project, or does it need to be in a specific phase? note that I am using IFS cloud 25R2 V4 environment to test this out. If anyone can confirm whether this functionality exists in standard IFS (Apps 10 or Cloud), and under what conditions the command appears, I’d appreciate it.Thanks!Sachitha D

Hi All,What’s the best practice in IFS cloud to integrate with WMS? Is there recommended integration projections that we can use?In pervious versions, we were using WMSINT that contain 6 messages to make the integration work between IFS and a WMS work. Per end user when creating an interim order for a configuration on a customer order line, they add a part number to the interim order but when release the customer order the added part does not transfer to the created shop order. Steps per user:step one create configuration in sales order step two create interim order step three Add a part to interim order and save step four Release sales order step five Access shop order and view the material tab

I found an On-Boarding element in the Account lobby view in Cloud, but I can’t find where to create the on-boarding process, nor find any more information here in the IFS Community or in the IFS documentation. Can someone explain how to get this in to use, and if there are any more documented information (product documentation) on the function?  

Using IFS Applications 9. We have a Sales Quotation in the “Released” status.  There is one quotation line, and that line was marked as “Won”.  Would this line status cause the Sales Quotation to be non-closable?  The option to close the quotation is greyed out in Enterprise Explorer.

Has anyone ever handled Sales Contract Penalties in IFS. If so, what did you use, standard forms or Customisations or a bit of both?We’re still on Apps10 and want to find some way to register them, so that we can add warning messages if pegged Shop Orders are delayed.I’ve looked at Project and Risk, but keep coming back to Sales Contracts as a place holder and a custom page to hold the various types of penalty and their potential cost.   It would also be good to know if this is available in the later versions of Cloud.

We would like to raise a formal product correction request regarding the Site Cluster/Structure page in IFS Cloud. The current client behavior does not support drag-and-drop repositioning of nodes and connected sites within the Site Cluster hierarchy, although this interaction pattern has been available in earlier IFS versions and is aligned with the expected maintenance behavior for hierarchical structures.This limitation has a direct operational impact on our customer, who performs frequent structural reorganizations of sites within existing Site Clusters as part of ongoing supply chain, distribution, and master data governance activities. The search bar in the view Business Opportunity Pipeline does not seem to work. None of the searchable cells have an impact on the kanbanboard and the visible kanbancards.  

Business Opportunity Pipeline (kanban view) has different type of customizations available, but I haven’t been able to find documentation on what actually is possible.Is there documentation on what customizations by default is able to create for the pipeline objects, such as the red triangle showing, or the green bar when the opportunity sales process has concluded? What other default visual functions are the for the canban objects? Is it for example possible color code objects which has stalled or has entered the piepline in the last week?

Hi,We are on Cloud 25.1.5.We are receiving the following error when returning inventory using RMA. This is a serialized part and connected to an object which is currently sitting in In Facility. What might be the cause for this error and what is the correct step to return objects back to inventory? Cheers

On Work Task > Allocate Resource there is a field “Adjust to Schedule”My team is asking if this can be defaulted to be checked.Is there an easy way to do this? 

Business RequirementsThere is a business requirement to automatically allocate inventory in the order of "date of manufacture".The "date of receipt" is different from the "date of manufacture" to some extent, although the "date of receipt" is supposed to be received in the order of manufacture.We considered specifying "date of manufacture" for "expiration date," but since "date of manufacture" is basically a past date, it would result in inventory that cannot be used for allocation.I would like to know if there is any feasible way to do this.

Hi! We have over 25 000 Accounts in IFS. Is there an easy way, or any way, in IFS Cloud to search for accounts without connected objects such as sales quotations, orders, leads or business opportunities? An account clean-up is long overdue.

It is often the case in our industry, that the Business Opportunity starts with one customer, but the final product is purchased and delivered to another one. Or, that the customer want the Sales Order to be addressed to another of their companies/accounts. Our challenge now is, that we are not able to change the Account of the Business Opportunity, as the Sales Quotation is attached. It is neither possible to change the Account of the Sales Quotation, because that is attached to the Business Opportunity. The only option seems to be to cancel current Business Opportunity and Sales Quotation, and redo them to the new account. Which is a lot of work. Is there a go-around, how we can during the process change the Account connected to Business Opportunity after Sales Quotation has been created (preferable without losing information)?

We have found a scenario where when we try and move a handling unit, the contents become misaligned.we have discovered only happens when we are executing this functionality in French, when the UI is set to English the operation completes successfully.  Any clue what’s behind this scenario?

Hi Guys,Most IFS oriented by Company and site but when we talk about IFS CRM, it is only take COMPANY in consideration. Take BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY for example, right now we created a custom field SITE to deal with the situation, maybe is our understanding that is not good. In the Business Opportunity sub-view References, the Sales Quotation table is showing cells Description and Reference2. We can’t find these original cells in Sales Quotation view. What are these References cells intended use?  

Does anyone have any recommendations for how to handle sale and redemption of Gift Vouchers?  Scenario is that a Customer (Head Office) buy vouchers from us for their staff to redeem for goods on sale via our website.  Head Office have an account with us.  Staff also have an account with us.  Head office purchase of vouchers needs to hit Deferred Revenue.  Payment for the Staff orders is then drawn from this balance.  Thinking something like Head Office being “Invoicing Customer” on Staff Customer account.  Not sure how we’d then handle Staff buying further items, extra to the voucher, on the same account.  Ideally wouldn’t want Staff to have to have two accounts.  Any creative solutions gratefully received!ThanksLinda

After creating a Business Activity via the CRM Panel using either the old or new Outlook - we have an option to create a linked Business Mail. Recently, our users have notified us that the linked Business Mail gets created but it does not have the body or attachment in it.We have tested this on our end and it’s not working in either of our test or production environment for any Business Mail that is created via the CRM Panel.We receive this error in the first attempt: After the second attempt, it works but the body and attachment is missing from the Business Mail.Has anyone run into this issue lately?This feature used to work. I checked our CRM and SRM Default values for adding the email body and attachment to the Business Mail via CRM Panel and they have not changed.

Hello dear IFS Community,I have an issue I can't seem to resolve. I have an order where the items have been delivered, and the rental started automatically.My order, status “livré” means “delivered” and “Facturé/fermé” means “invoiced/closed” (this was the line I returned after I ended the rental)My user wants to cancel it. I tried to end the rental at the exact date and time it started, but when I go back to the order, I can’t cancel it.Here you can see that I have ended all the rental linesI then tried to process a hardware return (in the test environment), but the order status changes to “Invoiced/Closed” if I do that

 Hi,I was wondering whether we can merge CRM accounts (Category = Customer) if they are not connected to any objects or do not have any transactions in the system.One of our customers using IFS Cloud has integrated IFS with an external POS system. They import CRM accounts from POS system and save these as customers (category = customer). The CRM account is labelled as duplicate, but we cannot see the “Merge Account” command on the header to merge the duplicate with the original account.I understand that merge account work ok for prospects but couldn’t find a document explaining any limitations or why it’s not supposed to work for new CRM accounts when the category is customer. Is this the intended behaviour for CRM accounts of type “Customer”, even if duplicate records don’t connect with any objects or do not ha

Hello IFS Community,I have a rental order that has been delivered. I created a draft invoice, which I then canceled.I wanted to change an amount on one of the lines of my order, but I can’t do it. So I tried to cancel the line and/or the order, but since rental transactions have been created, I can’t cancel anything.Right now I’m stuck; I can’t invoice this order, cancel it, or change the amount. Hello,We would like to know whether there is a functionality in IFS that supports the management of customer blanket orders.While it is possible to create a standard customer order and process partial deliveries, we are encountering an issue whereby the commercial invoice generated from the customer order page includes all order lines and quantities, including those that have not yet been delivered.As a result, we currently manage blanket orders by creating multiple customer orders to cover deliveries over the duration of the blanket agreement.Ideally, we would like to create a single blanket order and execute deliveries against it progressively until the agreement period ends. Additionally, we require the ability to generate a commercial invoice for each individual delivery directly from the customer order page.Thank you! 

In IFS cloud, how do u control the display of a number, example 3,000.00, show the commas in the correct positions across all forms?

In some cases, there would be a need to close (lost) sales quotations even if the products are not completely configurated. We can have quotations with tens of products, all with complex configurations which is severely time consuming. Therefore, sales may cancel the sales quotation instead of closing it, to save time and keeping the admin work less. This will of course affect the win/loss analysis negatively, not having the full picture. Is there any workaround in having the possibility to close sales quotations with unconfiguren products?
