I would like to add a Brand field to the PartCatalog Entity, and I would like the user to select from a list of values in the ServiceBrand Entity.   In App10, we currently use an enumeration field but since there is a native brand field in the Request Management area, we prefer to use the native table.When I try to add a field to the PartCatalog entity, I am unable to reference the ServiceBrand Entity.Any suggestions?

Normally using StrTranslate function we can translate given text, but when we have a comma in the text it will not translate the string beyond that poiint. It will skip the remaining part of the text. E.g:-‘Please translate me, I have a comma’ vldtstr:strTranslate(../../../tns:PROCESSING_INFO/tns:FORMATTING_OPTIONS/tns:LANG_CODE,'en,de','Please translate me, I have a comma,Bitte übersetzen Sie mich, ich habe ein Komma','Please translate me, I have a comma') Result: en: Please translate me (missing ‘, I have a comma’)de: Bitte übersetzen Sie mich (missing ‘, ich habe ein Komma’) 

Have an issue where I noticed that t Italian Company's Alt Delivery Note Nos sometimes skip a place. (not according to the sequential order)  According to the users in Italy these Alt Delivery Note Nos must come out in sequential order per the fiscal authority. Gaps should not occur.  

 I am executing a migration of Business Opportunities on IFS Cloud 24R1 Once the Business Opportunities have been migrated, I need to execute the Confirm Sales Process function on each Business Opportunity. I will be doing this using a migration job.I have been unable to locate the method to be used for this in the BUSINESS_OPPORTUNITY_API Packages list on the Entity page.Does anyone know which method to use here ?

The page help talks a lot about WHAT S&OP is but it offers little guidance on HOW to use S&OP.  Does anyone have good, recent training materials that I can use to learn it before I teach the customer how to use it?  Thanks!

Hi,  In Apps 10, we have the ability to create a Mail Merge from the Customer Contacts screen.  Does this functionality in Cloud exist and if so, is it related to Marketing Lists? I can’t see any documentation for Mail Marge in Cloud 24 R2:  See 13.5 : Mail Merge. IFS Cloud Documentation ThanksTom

Hi,   Is there anyway to default this (see yellow highlight) as FALSE - “Create Quotation  in Released Status” when creating a Sales Quote from a Business Opportunity? I know it’s possible to do this for Customer Orders from the CRM Basic Default Values but can’t see an option for Quotations. I always want my Sales Quotations to be created in a Planned State. Can’t see anyway on CRM Default Values or Site Settings to change this have I missed something or is this a limitation?   ThanksTom

Hello dear IFS Community, I was wondering if there is a possibility to link a sales part to a customer. Our issue is as follows:We are creating a new part number for an existing product that will be updated. Some companies have a very long and complex process of adding our new part number to their system and will therefore keep buying the old version for a while.  Is there a way that we could sort of “phase out” the old Part number for most customers and still allow a few to order it? Our workaround would be to enter a “replacement part” in sales part and every time a customer has to order the older version we would have to manually remove and re-enter the replacement part.  Any ideas are more than welcome! Hello,We are currently facing an issue where the MPL voucher has a balance in Parallel currency and as a result it is impossible to update the MPL voucher to the GL.  IFS Version – APP10 UPD11PO created in currency EUR for an inventory part. Accounting currency of the company is USD & Parallel currency is NGN (Nigerian Naira).Parallel currency base for the company = Transaction Currency.GR done & inventory transaction has been transferred to Finance. MPL voucher stuck in Voucher Entry screen with Not Approved state. When you try to Approve you get the error “Voucher with status approved must be in balance”. As highlighted below there is a balance remaining in Parallel currency. Appreciate if anyone could advise what is the best way to fix this issue.

I there a way Not have to save after every time something it done to an Customer order, something as simple as a date change or entering a part#.... Auto save?

When releasing a Planned Customer Order, our order status goes into an “In Process” state rather than Released. We have tried turning off custom events and other aspects to see if anything was impacting the status.

I am doing some experimenting trying to solve a problem where specific sales parts for specific customers can only be made with raw materials from a supplier authorized by the customer.  Think of it as making customer-specific parts made from raw aluminum supplied by ALCOA and that the customer has approved use of certain ALCOA raw materials.I was experimenting the use of the supply code “Production Schedule” from a customer order line to determine if that customer order line is “pegged” to a particular production schedule in a manner similar to how customer order lines are “pegged” to the shop orders on which the parts are built.I created a customer order for a production schedule part and released the customer order.  But I did not receive a production schedule.  What am I missing?Thanks!

Hello community, do you know if there is a way to change the numbering format in the Business Opportunity Pipeline Chart page?Example below: instead of displaying 100000000, we could change the format to display 100,000,000 or 100M.  

I have a customer who insists on having links to Terms and Conditions on the last page of a couple of reports.They used to have rather simple URLs, so I could just add the addresses in blue and underlined, and it looked and worked OK. Now, however, they have looong addresses that one typically hides with a simple text, in html it would be something like ‘<a href="https://example.com">Website</a>’. Can I do something within the Report Designer to accomplish the same in the resulting PDF?I have tried to convince the customer to use the Insert PDF option - but for some reason they do not like that.

I am working with a  customer that wants to run a process to recalculate the and reset the prices on their open customer order lines because of price list changes that may occur monthly,  I know on an individual customer order line, you can recalculate the price/currency but is there a process that can do this for a range of or all customer order lines?  Thanks!

I am working with a  customer that wants to run a process to recalculate the and reset the costs on their open purchase order lines because of supplier raw material costs change that will occur monthly,  Think of it as the commodity costs for metal changes at the beginning of each month and that new cost needs to be now on all open PO’s as well as using it ro reset the raw material’s standard costs and thus changes the standard costs of the products produced by that raw material.  I know individual purchase order line costs can be manually changed, but is there a process that can do this for a range of or all open purchase order lines?  Thanks!

24.1.5We toggled the Mandatory Expiration Date (under Shelf Life on the Inventory Part page) on several parts. After doing so, several of those parts showed up when we ran MRP, despite having no demand source. I’m trying to figure out why that toggle alone would impact MRP. The Days, Minimum Remaining Days at CO Delivery, and Minimum Remaining Days for Planning are blank or set to 0.  

When adding a colleague to a Person Group for an Approval Template, I noticed that I’m able to add Customer Contact persons too.Is this normal IFS behaviour or a bug?
