Another individual asked this question 3 years ago and never got a response, so I’m trying to ask again:Is there a setting or option to prevent certain sales parts from never getting a discount %? We are looking to see if we can replace our current CRM process with IFS, but in the current CRM, we do not allow for the discount of Extended Warranty (% charge) or Installation Service (NI Sales Part).  So we would need a solution for both a charge and a Non-Inventory Sales Part.

In a multi site scenario (Demand and Supply sites exist), can the demand of the Dmand Site ie- 700 pcs in week 25 update in the Supply on week 23, assuming a 2 week lead time between 2 sites? , if so what are the configuration and settings that needs to be done?   In addition can the total demand for a month be cumulated to one day as all deliveries are done only 1 day per month?

Is there  a way in 25R1 that we can the cursor land in the customer number field when entering a new customer order?

Running to an issue on the below.  EstimatedSignDate on logical unit of Business Opportunity. The filter on the advanced list in Aurena is not working. EstimatedSignData = '#THIS_YEAR#'. Please advise on how to write this in the advanced search of the list view.   

Hi, We can add Related Account (referance to another customer - Customer B) to a SalesQuotation belonging to Customer A.When we open Customer B - we can not see which Sales Quotations are ralated to this customer. Do anybody knows where to find it (overview of related SQ to a customer)? Account CRM does not contain this information.Br.Barbara  

Hi,after converting a lead to business opportunity, IFS create automatically a background task named :CRM Business Opportunity inference request ( Business_Opportunity_API.Inference_Request_Deferred__ )but this task always falls in error :The [ML_BUSINESS_OPP_CLOSE_STAT] setup is incomplete. Please train and activate the model before using.do you have any idea about this task ? how to disable it or how to fix it ?because I searched in DB tasks and events but I didn’t find any task with this name Thnk you.Regards.

Within an assortment node, if items have different price units, it is mandatory to repeat the assortment node for each price unit in the campaign's assortment tab.In our company, we have over 200 nodes that have at least two different price units.We don't want to apply different discounts based on the price unit, but only one discount per assortment node.How can we apply a discount to all items within an assortment node? Thanks, Fabrice

When creating a new business opportunity in Aurena a user receives the below screen only upon selecting a value in the customer field of the business opportunity. I believe this is a permission set issue, but unsure of the next steps to take. Please advise.   

We are looking into creating a collaborative way of working with sales projects (business opportunity), where not only sales, but also our support persons (designers/calculators) work becomes visible and part of the sales process. I have identified this could be done both using Case or Business Activity.Are Cases going to be part of IFS in the long run or will it be replaced with Assyst some day? Are there other ways to send request (tasks) to company personnel, and get it linked to an opportunity (or quotation)? Need assistance on Advanced Searches on List Views within Aurena. See image below. What am I doing wrong?  As you can see from search I am trying to see only certain stage values, but results are bringining in all. Please advise correct query. (ProcessId = 'UNI_SALES_PROCESS') AND (StageId ne '100' OR  StageId ne '90') Also, what language is this? Is there documentation?  

I’d like to add a custom field on on the list view Business Opportunities. We are currently on IFS Aurena, please advise.   

In CTO, the description entered under “Part Configuration Description” is what gets printed on the Customer Quotation/Order Confirmation as the description. Is there a way to bold, underline or italisize certain text within the description?  This would help with readability on the customer-facing documents.  I was hoping some operators like <b> </b>  or surrounding text in *this* would work, but they appear not to:  

When I first login to IFS Cloud (24R1) and release a customer order I receive this error “Execution exception.sender thread caused by ifs.fnd.connect.senders .connectsender$temporary failure exception: exception while sending data caused by: java.net.socketexception: connection reset.”  I release the order again and the error goes away.  It seems to be the first time I log into the application.  It doesn’t bother me but is not acceptable for end users.We do utilitize Avalara integration, so I am wondering if it has something to do with that.

In 25r1 we now have a delivered mailchimp integration from Marketing Campaigns.  I can’t quite see how to turn it on.  There is a system/template BPA called CrmMailchimpIntegration.  And there is a button on the Marketing Campaign Action to create an external campaign (but the button is inactive).  I believe that the BPA needs to be deployed to activate the button, but the BPA cannot be deployed because it’s a template.  If you copy the BPA to another ID, you can deploy it, but then the button would not know to call that BPA ID?What am i missing…?

Hello,    Is there a way to hide the Customer Order Charge Type so that the customer only sees the combined price of the goods they are purchasing when receiving the order confirmation and customer invoice?  Example - The End Customer only wants to see the Delivered at Place cost on their order, they do not want to see the Freight Charge.  However we need to account for that freight charge and the freight charge needs to go to the correct GL account.  When I enter the Charge Type on the Customer Order that charge will automatically show up on the customer confirmation work order, customer just wants to see total cost including freight in one lump sum.   Thank you,.Joe

Hi All.We have received an inquiry from a customer and would like to know how to implement this in IFS Cloud.1. For example, when sales reach ¥1 billion, grant ¥100 million worth of service credits (similar to point management systems used by electronics retailers or Amazon).2. Subsequently, when receiving orders from that customer, offset the order amount using the service credits. If any balance remains after the offset, we want to generate an invoice for that remaining amount.3. It should also be possible to combine and use multiple service credits together.4. Service credits should have an expiration date and become unusable once expired.This functionality corresponds to the rules in IFRS 15.70 - 72.

I have a client who is using Projects in Cloud and wants to invoice from the project based on project milestones. We need to use Customer Orders for shipping and export documentation.Is there a way to close the Customer ORder without invoicing?Thank you 

I got a question from a team member, who had made their Business Activity under a Sales Quotation. This Sales Quotation is connected to a Business Opportunity, but the Business Activity doesn’t show in the Business Opportunity - only on the Sales Quotation.Is this normal in IFS Cloud? We would like to see Business Activities made for Sales Quotations also to show under respective Business Opportunity. We strive to work mostly within the Business opportunity module, and now there is a risk the data regarding the Opportunity becomes fragmented and Activities must be searched for in different places. There might be several opportunities ongoing for each account simultaneously which adds to the risk of fragmented data in my opinion.

Hi friends,I want to use business lead form in my mobile.I can create a lead but in address section when I want to edit or create an address I can NOT see address1,address2 and … fields.This issue is NOT observed in IFS Aurena in my computer, this issue is only in my mobile.Does anyone faced this issue?Thanks

In 25R1, using the CRM Companion AppI notice that on the Business Activities tile, the entire list of activities are displayed, not just for the User who has logged in.Is there a way to configure the setting to display only the activities relevant to the User ?

Hello, We are using B2B as a customer shop portal with some CRIM’s to approximate the functionality to a webshop/B2C. The functionality is limited and suboptimal given that our basic need is a B2C portal. However, the implementation project chose this option over a third party webshop. We have approx 20 000 B2B users. Sidenote: I am starting to wonder if any other IFS customers in the world are using the B2B portal like we do. If someone has any references, experiences or know anything about this, please DM me.  The matter at hand: Is there any way to separate B2B from MAIN visually, to help the end-user understand where he is? We have a supplier agreement where the header status is Active, but the part lines are showing status Closed. Because of this, no updates are happening on those lines.Our requirement:We do not want to create new lines. We want to know if there is any way to reopen or reactivate the closed part lines under the same agreement.If reopening is not possible, what is the recommended approach to proceed without creating duplicate lines?Any best practices or configuration tips would be appreciated.

Hi,Does anyone know how to auto generate a time phased safety stock plan via IPR ?I’ve set up all basic data in terms of IRP (all planning policies, models, classification etc). Server is up and running as well. My question is for inventory parts planned by planning method A, how to generate records for Time Phased safety stock ?I followed the drill until the Batch job ‘ Refresh IPR Data’ no result in Time Phased safety Stock.  What am I missing ? RegardsYashodha
