We have more than 9000 background jobs with this method every day.Anyone know what’s the trigger of it and what this procedure does?

We have just upgraded to 24R2 and I’m trying to change the default value for a customer order to the identifier reference from the Customer. I have the Value in the Site set to this: ${CustomerInfo.IdentifierReference} but I’m unsure how to filter to the particular customer selected by the user.

When converting a Lead to a Customer, we ‘d like to make the Account No field read only or hide it from view, to prevent users from manually entering details.How do we do this in Cloud (23R1), is is possible? 

The default is set to "Same as To Location" Is it possible to change the default to "Same as From Location" 

I manufacture parts that re then stored on a pallet, or in IFS speak, a Handling Unit.  But when I go to ship the items on a shipment, it appears that I need a master or parent handling unit  before I can attach the handling unit line items to the shipment handling unit structure.  Why cannot I just reference the handling units of the parts to the shipment. For example, I may have part 22047 in 2 different handling units (603 and 604).  When I create a shipment, its forcing me to add a “parent” handling unit (“Truck”) so I can then attach handling units 603 and 604. It seems and unnecessary step that I have to add already created handling units to a master handling unit on a shipment.

Is it possible to block the print dialogue for Staged Billing when printing a Customer Order Confirmation?Around 30% of our Customer Orders require staged billing profiles.Currently, the global sales team has to close the additional print dialogue as we do not need to print it. Every time they print an order confirmation, IFS wants to print the staged billing too, it’s only one click, but it is tiresome for the teams and we are hoping to switch it off or make it voluntary at least.

In my tenure, I have worked with several automotive suppliers and their customers will often send a transaction for multiple lines of either multiple parts or the same part.  These lines  may have different customer PO numbers.  However, iur customer order lines don’t seem to allow that by design thus FORCING our customers to generate separate customer orders for the one incoming transactions. YEs, we can combine orders for the same customer, ship-to, etc. on a shipment but I would think we still need to allow our customers to adjust/enter the customer PO number and customer PO lone number on OUR customer order lines..Thoughts?

Hello, I have a client that has a distribution order with the same “Planned Receipt Date” as the customer order “Planned Delivery Date”.They want a one-day buffer between them. We have changed dates in the Supply Chain Matrix, lead times, safety lead times, etc. and still the dates are the same. I did not think this was standard functionality.Am I missing something?  

 The Business Calendar in IFS Cloud is topping at 4pm ?Any possibility to adjust the view ? Most users require a time span of 8am-6pmThe only option is: “SHOW FULL DAY”, which makes the calendar twice as long as needed and unfortunately, this setting is not saved in the personal profile. 

Hi colleagues,We have a customer who is able to produce and ship the demanded part quantity the same date the customer order is created (with ‘today’ as wanted delivery date). They will then, create the customer order (CTO process), handle the shop order process and delivery at customer’s address all in the same day.Usually they stock WIP and when needed they are pulled to build and ship the same day. Before agreeing the ship date they need to be sure they have enough materials (including WIP) and they want to use the capability check for that purpose.However Capabiilty check will consider as not feasible anything that is planned earlier than first working day after today’s date so capability check and same day shipping are not compatible.I got some questions:¿Is the availability check an alternative for them? I mean, setting the availability check for the whole structure (I guess that will impact performance) since apparently the constraint is not on the manufacturing capacity but in

I would like to add a Brand field to the PartCatalog Entity, and I would like the user to select from a list of values in the ServiceBrand Entity.   In App10, we currently use an enumeration field but since there is a native brand field in the Request Management area, we prefer to use the native table.When I try to add a field to the PartCatalog entity, I am unable to reference the ServiceBrand Entity.Any suggestions?

Normally using StrTranslate function we can translate given text, but when we have a comma in the text it will not translate the string beyond that poiint. Have an issue where I noticed that t Italian Company's Alt Delivery Note Nos sometimes skip a place. (not according to the sequential order)  According to the users in Italy these Alt Delivery Note Nos must come out in sequential order per the fiscal authority. Gaps should not occur.  

 I am executing a migration of Business Opportunities on IFS Cloud 24R1 Once the Business Opportunities have been migrated, I need to execute the Confirm Sales Process function on each Business Opportunity. I will be doing this using a migration job.I have been unable to locate the method to be used for this in the BUSINESS_OPPORTUNITY_API Packages list on the Entity page.Does anyone know which method to use here ?

The page help talks a lot about WHAT S&OP is but it offers little guidance on HOW to use S&OP.  Does anyone have good, recent training materials that I can use to learn it before I teach the customer how to use it?  Thanks!

Hi,  We’re currently using 24R2. I have the requirement of being able to adjust and track updating the Sales Contract Line Item Quantity as Planned Demand differs from Actual Demand. As an example, Part A is an Item on Line 1 of my Sales Contract with a required Quantity of 100 currently. However, the demand for Part is actually 50 and we need to create a new Sales Contract Revision to reflect the changes. Currently, we create a new Item Line with Part A with a Quantity = -50 to reflect this change, however, we can’t accept negative quantity lines going forward, as connected Business Opportunities cannot have negative quantity lines. With this in mind, I’ve been exploring the usage of Contract Change Orders in a test environment, which seem great for being able to Add New Line Items to my Sales Contract and have them be tracked/approved etc. However, I can’t seem to be able to just edit/reduce the Quantity of Part A on Line 1 of my Sales Contract from 100 to 50 and track this change. Hi,   Is there anyway to default this (see yellow highlight) as FALSE - “Create Quotation  in Released Status” when creating a Sales Quote from a Business Opportunity? I know it’s possible to do this for Customer Orders from the CRM Basic Default Values but can’t see an option for Quotations. I always want my Sales Quotations to be created in a Planned State. Can’t see anyway on CRM Default Values or Site Settings to change this have I missed something or is this a limitation?   ThanksTom

Hello dear IFS Community, I was wondering if there is a possibility to link a sales part to a customer. Our issue is as follows:We are creating a new part number for an existing product that will be updated. Some companies have a very long and complex process of adding our new part number to their system and will therefore keep buying the old version for a while.  Is there a way that we could sort of “phase out” the old Part number for most customers and still allow a few to order it? Our workaround would be to enter a “replacement part” in sales part and every time a customer has to order the older version we would have to manually remove and re-enter the replacement part.  Any ideas are more than welcome! Hello,We are currently facing an issue where the MPL voucher has a balance in Parallel currency and as a result it is impossible to update the MPL voucher to the GL.  IFS Version – APP10 UPD11PO created in currency EUR for an inventory part. Accounting currency of the company is USD & Parallel currency is NGN (Nigerian Naira).Parallel currency base for the company = Transaction Currency.GR done & inventory transaction has been transferred to Finance. MPL voucher stuck in Voucher Entry screen with Not Approved state. When you try to Approve you get the error “Voucher with status approved must be in balance”. As highlighted below there is a balance remaining in Parallel currency. Appreciate if anyone could advise what is the best way to fix this issue.
