After creating a Business Activity via the CRM Panel using either the old or new Outlook - we have an option to create a linked Business Mail. Recently, our users have notified us that the linked Business Mail gets created but it does not have the body or attachment in it.

We have tested this on our end and it’s not working in either of our test or production environment for any Business Mail that is created via the CRM Panel.

We receive this error in the first attempt:
 

After the second attempt, it works but the body and attachment is missing from the Business Mail.

Has anyone run into this issue lately?

This feature used to work. I checked our CRM and SRM Default values for adding the email body and attachment to the Business Mail via CRM Panel and they have not changed.

I’m sorry but I have tested yesterday in the base Ventechi 25R1 SU0 and it doesn’t work anyway.

I have the the email body but not the attachment document to the Business Mail via CRM Panel and the parameters have not changed.

Could you tell me if the update is ok or not?

Yes we released in 25R1 GA. since your mail body works, correction should be applied as I see.

Need more info regarding to your scenario. please check,

  1. Please check the default value settings whether skip attachment setting is set to true. (probably it is not changed as you mentioned about parameters)
  2. How do you see the mail body? have you enabled the option to save the mail body to DOCMAN as html file?
  3. What type of attachments you tried out, issues come for all type of attachments?
  4. Which flow you are trying here? could you please check whether issue can be re-creatable in all flows. 
    1. Save to CRM
    2. Send to CRM
    3. Create or Connect to Business Mail option in Create BA and BO
    4. In contact details page, if you expand BA or BO record (under BA or BO sections) there is a paper clip icon , you can use that command also to create or connect to business mail.

Good to raise a ticket for support for further investigations (after checking above points).

I want to attach a pdf with my e-mail. I tried alla the flows and it doesn’t work
