Does anyone have experience editing object connection services? I would like to create a new service to object connection. The new service is CRIM and we like to connect those records to IFS Business objects (WO, Equipment, …).

Hi, Trying to help customer but did not find any answer in documentation on what is the functionality behind in PM Action fields: -Test Point,-Test Number,-Alt Designation,-MaterialAre they MWO related fields and hence not mentioned in help. Also field definition missing.  

Hello We are trying to work with PM actions but our category objects cannot be connected to these actions. We service trains and the object is mostly a wagon which makes a vehicle. A wagon can be be moved to another vehicle of required.   Should we change our object type to make pm action work? Or is there a workaround? We are using apps 10 with a planned transition to Aurena next year.

How can you change the Object Level of a Functional Object?

Dear all,Is it possible to cancel a preliminairy invoice from a work order?I've got a situation where  a prelimanairy invoices is created from a work order. This invoice however is incorrect and needs to be cancelled.What is the best way to do that? RegardsRaymond

Is anyone using Rental Management Module in the company on apps 10 or Aurena and wouldn’t mind in helping with the set up and processes, please? We are looking into using it within the company, but need to understand it fully, if it’s worth it… Thank you 

We have a Customer Order which has a Reservation, the Reservation triggers a Mobilisation Work Order to be Generated. We have a few Customer Orders where the reservation serial no needs to be amended but we cannot unreserve the CO due to the Linked Work Order and we are unable to Delete the WO as it is ‘Work Done’ with Time Transactions. How can we remove the WO linked to the CO so we can unreserve and reserve a new serial no?

Hello ! I am having an issue searching for historical work orders. We are on apps9 and use the equipment object navigator to work with our equipment structure. When clicking a specific node in the object hierarchy, there’s a tab called “All Active WO” which will show all work orders for the object currently selected including all of its children. It would seem there is no “All Historical WO” tab, so if we’re trying to find historical WO about a specific level, we need to go through each children item individually which can be confusing and time consuming for end-user, creating a different experience when looking for “active” vs “historical” work orders. Is there a screen in IFS to easily look for an object and get a list of all the historical work order from itself and its children like the “All active WO” tab does on the navigator? 

Hi, Issue #1:In 22R2 I have noticed 3 errors that could be related one to another. I’m trying to execute a work order in maintenance module (Maintenance > Work Management > Preparation and Planning > Prepare Work Order), with an specific work task template (IT100-PUL). When I start the execution of the work task, in the tab Report Manual Costs, if I try to report the line from the section “Report Manual Costs from Work Task Planning” by editing the existing line, I have the error “Insufficient privileges”  I’ve checked my user privileges and seems they are all correct. Hi all,Can a product structure  be created or copied  from a functional object, equipment object navigator or serial object?

A shop order split was done and IFS moved the material to the first split order. Is this something new?

In a company A, there are two sites (Site1&Site2). The maint org. of Site1 create a fault report and the maint org. of site2 should execute. The two sites are two différent business units. What setup (Main org., resources,..) do I need to make this possible?

Is it possible to move the Tasks List from the Tasks Tab to a section under the General tab?I have tried this, but the list does not show the tasks for the current case. It does not show any tasks, or if I change the datasource, it displays all the tasks. Is this possible?  

Hi,Does anyone have an idea on the use and how the data are populated into the below 3 standard operational reports related to work order.Work Order Index Work Order Information Work Order Operation InformationYou can find these 3 reports in the list of Order Report option in IFS, however, there is no any search parameters and no data is getting into the report, just only the header/footer. I have tried different IFS environments, no data is getting into these reports.Does anyone know about any information for these 3 reports ? Any pre-requisites to be done for the data to be loaded into this. I have a thinking that these reports may be deprecated reports, or have issues but not identified maybe because customers are not using these reports.Any idea ? Best RegardsThushitha 

Hi all,Would you kindly advise if we can add Measurements into the Objects on Work Step level from the MWO App.? We are using the IFS MWO Service 10 and currently the ‘Measurements’ tab allows to set measurements on the Objects appear in the Work Task level. Many thanks for your kind feedback.  

I am trying to understand the pros and cons of the "Rename Part Number" function on the part serial record. I understand the value of being able to rename a serial number but how is the renaming part number function used responsibly? In industries that are engineering to order and where configuration management are critical to traceability and customer requirements, how is the renaming part number function used and controlled?

Case Management - Comments field capped to 4000 character is impairing use of case management. Cases updates and progression are logged in commentary and system does not have any other area where logging and display case updates and history. Case Management Journal is not an option to solve this. 

IFS cloud 22R2I was able to initiate the Ad hoc Work Reporting wizard and move to the stages but when I reach the Materials section, my attempts to populate the Part Availability for Issue Material section is not successful.I have tried several different combinations such as using the apply and reset buttons but I cannot seem to populate with any values. Has anyone successfully worked on this section ? Any tips to get this to work ? 

I have a work task with 2 assignments in status assigned. When i try to change the status of the work task to reported i get below information message:1. Information message. I expect it to change the status of all remaining assignments to completed.However, when i press OK i get this toaster message and status of assignments remains the same:2. Toaster message appearsI can change status on assignment if i only mark one line, but i cant multi select lines and change status.3. Possible to change status on one line4. But not possible to change status on 2 lines at the same time. Why cant i change the status on 2 lines at the same time? Tested in 22R2 SU4 https://ifs22r2costestlkp.rnd.ifsdevworld.com/ on Work task 582.  

I am in Resource Navigator in the correct Person group. I found the person and in their Connections > Employee tab I am trying to add their Employee Object. When I click on the add (+) it auto-populates the correct Employee ID but when I try to save it, it says “Employee XXXXX does not exist”… but I’m literally staring at the Employee Object. Screen shot below:

Hi All,How do I change the operational status of my Serial Object? Situation: I have a demomachine which was already created as a Serial Object “RTI221202-002-000002”.The demomachine was sold to a customer “RTI-DIST-CUST-2” and placed under Superior SM Object Id “RTI-DIST-CUST-2-GROUP1”. Because of that sales the “Current Position” of the object is set to ‘Issued’. As a direct result the Operational Status is set to ‘Out of Operation’. But how can I change this? (Should I be able to change this??). (For Serial Objects with Current Position = “In Facility’ I am able to change the Operational Status.) According to below table the Current Position = ‘Issued’, and the Operational Status is always = “Out of Operation”.But I would like to be able to toggle this to know if a machine is still running @the customer… How does this work? best RegardsRoel P.S. additional question: how does the ‘Operational Status’ on the Serial Object link to the Operational Status in the WOrk Order and PM Basic D
