When you perform a rename of a serial from Manage Serial Structure, it is not possible to define which modification that resulted in the rename. This can cause lack of information. It should not be mandatory to enter modification.

Within Object Properties we have a Property Name of PROJ_UPDATE_METHOD under the MaintenanceConfiguration LU.  It can be set to BATCH or ONLINE.  I have to assume that it is a process that is updating the project but I’m hoping to get some details as to what is being updated, how it works, and what triggers it.I’m all ears (eyes?) is someone has a glossary of these properties Thank youPatrick

Hi all.Could someone explane why the system is not accepting the 2 decimal input in “Report Manual Trasaction” in Cost tab, it shows a different decimal. I’m trying to input the cost 439,22 and after save, it shows 439,21.What do I need to do to fix this? is there any parameter?I’m using Apps10UPD17Br.Lopes 

When scrapping an Object IFS has produced a negative Voucher Number for Voucher Type A. It appears to be due to a currency In-balance for a rounding error. Has anyone ever seen this before? I cannot amend the amount in any field and I cannot adjust the Voucher status to any other option.  

When I create and print a Count Report, the printed copy I use to record the counts does not print in sequence order. This makes it more difficult to cross check and amend these figures when I input the count per count report (this report is in sequence order) Is there a way that the Inventory Count Report can be printed in Seq No. order

Arrival cannot be registered for all of the parts on a purchase order. The purchase order was created from a Maintenance Work Order. There are five parts from the requisition. Arrival can be registered for four of the parts without a problem. Registering an arrival for the fifth part results in this error, “The JT Task Planning Does Not Exist”. Does anyone have any idea what this could mean?

there is no grouping possibilty beside the protected slider (for HR) in persons. Person can be various data. Also we have custom person that does not belong to a customer that is in IFS. e.g. a collection of landlors or mayors or other person. we need to store their address and communication methods for contacting possibilities but thats all. And we want that not all person’s data can be seen by every user.We need a kind of grouping and access right admistration possibility in IFS, not only that simple slider :-)Does anyone else share this idea? BR Herbert

In IFS Application10/ IFSCLOUD you can add your resource demand under ‘Work List’ in the PM Action. Is there a switch or something that will automatically create the work assignment in the generated work order> work task when released?  It doesn’t make sense that it doesn’t.

Hi I have a client who provides service work for multiple customers. All customers are linked to one common company/site. Engineers are fixed to a customer location.My question is, is there a way to filter the equipment objects linked to a customer location so that the engineers can only see the objects at that customer location? For example:Customer A - 1,000 functional objects - 3 engineers Customer B - 500 functional object - 2 engineers.I want to be able to prevent the engineers who work at customer A to see or create new or additional work against objects that belong to Customer B. The environemnt is Cloud 23R1 Update 2thanks Graham

Hi,My companyare currently using an instance of Apps10 Aurena but are wanting to scope the functionality/improvements of IFS Cloud around SM Object creation from a Customer Order. As I understand it, in Apps 10 it’s only possible to create a Serialised Object via a Customer Order (Sm Object Functionality). My question is, with IFS Cloud has this functionality been extended to also include Functional (Non-Serialised) Objects? The requirement is that the business would like create Serialised and Functional Objects after delivering a customer order. Currently, it is only possible to do this with serial objects. Any information, or further resources would be great appreciated. Thanks for reading.Tom

But when I try to create my work order, I got this message :  Tho, I cannot add package part in my service quote. The Services aren’t allowed to use package part ? Thanks

In IFS Apps 9 there was just a planned start date field and it persisted through the maintenance process in the Maintenance Plan.  Here’s PM No 14866 in Apps 9 showing completed work with a Planned Start Date.Finished work orders still show a planned date in IEE IFS Cloud drops the Planned Start value from the maintenance plan when the work task generates for some reason…All the lines with a Generation Date no longer have a planned start here in the Aurena thingyHowever the planned start is still in the database if you look at pm_calendar_plan.planned_date. What’s the difference between these fields?  Between the page designer and debug console I’m not even sure which field Due Date is. Is the Due Date pm_calendar_plan.base_date? As a pain point, this makes the user look at an additional column to review preventive maintenance history.  Right now I just need to make sure they’re supposed to be about the same thing for reporting.

Hope someone can help. My customer is currently implementing IFS Cloud 22R2. As we are migrating the historical data from the legacy system, we want to capture the due date on the calendar-based PM Action where the due date already passed. This is because not all equipment is being maintained on time and we need visibility on when it actually was due. The problem I encountered that despite the Start Date on the Maintenance Trigger shows in the past (e.g., 01/01/2020) the Maintenance Plan generates the future date only. What we want is the Maintenance Plan to show the line for 01/01/2020 otherwise according to the Maintenance Plan this asset is only due in a couple of years, instead of being due for a while. I selected Valid From Date on the Work Task Template 01//01/2017 to ensure that all dates are valid but that doesn't seem to make a difference.  

Hello! Please tell me, is it possible to limit the method of issue off material in an maintenance material order? It is necessary to prohibit the automatic issue of some inventory parts. Only manual issue should be available.Are there any special settings in the inventory part catalog?If you solve such a problem using a trigger, then how can you determine that there is an automatic issue and not a manual issue?The package shows that different methods are called to perform these actions, but in the end there are no parameters by which it could be determined that the material was issued off manually or automatically.

Hello all, How can we hide the Dataset id and keep only the description, on PSO view?As you can see below we have 5 Datasets  where the first part “DATASET_TMHMATA” is the dataset id and the 2nd part after the : “TMHMATA” is the description. The question here is how we can depict only the description od dataset for example to change the view from “DATASET_TMHMATA:TMHMATA” to “TMHMATA”  

If the Status of the Work Task is Work Done, it allows to add Resource Demand, if it allows to add the Resource demand then the Work Task status still remains in Work Done.is this is the functionality or any set up needed for this status change automatically.Its in 23R1

Hi All!I’m creating a resource group under a structure group (Company structure) and everything is OK. When I try to add a person under the resource group, I get the alert (Capacity basis already exists).When I create directly a resource group connected to a company and site, I can add a person without difficulty (No alert).Can someone tell me exactly what trigger this alert please?Thank to All your advices
