Hello ! My customer wants to sell package part on their work order (the package would contain inventory and non inventory parts). But when I try to create my work order, I got this message :  Tho, I cannot add package part in my service quote. The Services aren’t allowed to use package part ? Thanks

In IFS Apps 9 there was just a planned start date field and it persisted through the maintenance process in the Maintenance Plan.  Here’s PM No 14866 in Apps 9 showing completed work with a Planned Start Date.Finished work orders still show a planned date in IEE IFS Cloud drops the Planned Start value from the maintenance plan when the work task generates for some reason…All the lines with a Generation Date no longer have a planned start here in the Aurena thingyHowever the planned start is still in the database if you look at pm_calendar_plan.planned_date. What’s the difference between these fields?  Between the page designer and debug console I’m not even sure which field Due Date is. Is the Due Date pm_calendar_plan.base_date? As a pain point, this makes the user look at an additional column to review preventive maintenance history.  Right now I just need to make sure they’re supposed to be about the same thing for reporting.

Hope someone can help. My customer is currently implementing IFS Cloud 22R2. As we are migrating the historical data from the legacy system, we want to capture the due date on the calendar-based PM Action where the due date already passed. This is because not all equipment is being maintained on time and we need visibility on when it actually was due. The problem I encountered that despite the Start Date on the Maintenance Trigger shows in the past (e.g., 01/01/2020) the Maintenance Plan generates the future date only. What we want is the Maintenance Plan to show the line for 01/01/2020 otherwise according to the Maintenance Plan this asset is only due in a couple of years, instead of being due for a while. I selected Valid From Date on the Work Task Template 01//01/2017 to ensure that all dates are valid but that doesn't seem to make a difference.  

Hello! Please tell me, is it possible to limit the method of issue off material in an maintenance material order? It is necessary to prohibit the automatic issue of some inventory parts. Only manual issue should be available.Are there any special settings in the inventory part catalog?If you solve such a problem using a trigger, then how can you determine that there is an automatic issue and not a manual issue?The package shows that different methods are called to perform these actions, but in the end there are no parameters by which it could be determined that the material was issued off manually or automatically.

Hello all, How can we hide the Dataset id and keep only the description, on PSO view?As you can see below we have 5 Datasets  where the first part “DATASET_TMHMATA” is the dataset id and the 2nd part after the : “TMHMATA” is the description. The question here is how we can depict only the description od dataset for example to change the view from “DATASET_TMHMATA:TMHMATA” to “TMHMATA”  

If the Status of the Work Task is Work Done, it allows to add Resource Demand, if it allows to add the Resource demand then the Work Task status still remains in Work Done.is this is the functionality or any set up needed for this status change automatically.Its in 23R1

When I try to add a person under the resource group, I get the alert (Capacity basis already exists).When I create directly a resource group connected to a company and site, I can add a person without difficulty (No alert).Can someone tell me exactly what trigger this alert please?Thank to All your advices

When defining a PM program, I can define the appropriate ITEM and PROCESS classes, and I can have multiple definitions in the same program. When PM Actions are generated for the programme, actions are generated for all objects and work task template connections - not just the ones linked by the process and item class.  In this example, I have one process class, but two item classes.  Class 1 is linked to device 1. Item Class 1 selected, Device 1 is applicableClass 2 is linked to Device 2. Item Class 2 selected, Device 2 is applicable. When I add the relevant work task templates into the PM Program, I can only select the correct WTT where the ITEM class has been selected as one of the item classes in the PM program. Work Task Template connection to the PM Action. Each Work Task template is configured for its own item class only.   In this scenario, for each object I will have two PM Actions, one that correctly links to the object via the item and process class, and one that is incorrect

Hi All,I’ve created PM Action Calendar for 3 days interval and found out it wasn’t as expected. It calculated wrongly and the results shown inconsistent with the interval i wanted and i tried to change the start date and inconsistent calculation was starts in certain day.the calendar i use available only for weekdays so it will not calculate weekends, it works perfectly for another intervals.i know it will works if i used Performed-date based so it will recalculate based on last maintenance date, but for the forecast purpose i think it will not be a viable option.Thank You.

GM everyone, Hope I’m doing this correctly, first time in the webpage. Hello my name is Marco Pineda with Apex Clean Energy. Apex has joined the IFS bandwagon, and just went through the protoyping of our business. During this process we ran into a question that IFS is not willing to place a recommendation on.  Our final solution system will be working through Cloud. My questions is regarding barcoding printers specifically. Does anyone have any recommendations on printers that can work directly with the IFS barcode generating software and IFS Scan It application?The products that will be receiving these barcodes will be placed into harsh environments so would have to print something durable and long lasting.  Any comments regarding this product? ZT400 Series Industrial Printers Specification Sheet | Zebra Thanks in advance for you help and support. 

We have a situation where we use condition-based PM actions to generate WOs for objects based on run hours.   For example, let’s say the condition is set up as below. So, the maintenance plan is predicted and generated as below.  All good.  Practically, these objects are not getting serviced when the exact value reached.  So, the actual value or run hours on the work task performed date can be lower or higher. Let’s assume that we perform the maintenance at 175 hours.  So ideally the next WO generation should happen 375 hours.  But the system waits till 400 hours for automatic generation.   We can track the actual performed value using generated value and last value fields, but the automatic generation does not consider the actual performed value. No changed to the planned value. Is there any option in IFS to have this catered?  

Hi All,The Change Net Value Option provided by IFS enables the Net Book Value to be modified in the event that the asset's useful life or salvage value changes after the initial acquisition.  In this instance, the user should manually calculate and enter the Net Value for the retrospective transactions. If the life or salvage value changes after the acquisition, is there another way we can automatically calculate the carrying value rather than Change Net Value option?
