Hi All,

Just discovered new feature of IFS Maintenance called downtime enablement.
i tried it in different servers and works perfectly in my internal server.
but when i tried it in customer test, it appears to works differently.

the problem is the pop up menu to register both downtime and uptime didn’t appear.

i already activated downtime enablement in both servers. did i miss something?

Thanks

@swargaas hmm its a bit strange you mentioned it worked in one environment and not the other. Let's try whether basic set up was as follows;

  • This is available from 22R1 track onwards
  • Enable a work type category for downtime enablement in basic data
  • Use a work type of that category, on the work task
  • Add an actual object(Equipment) to the work task
  • Set the work task to WorkDone, should trigger this dialog
  • If there are multiple tasks for the same WO with same actual object, then the dialog will open in read only mode once you already did the downtime reporting in one work task.

Is it only this dialog box? other dialog boxes are loaded ok?

How do you grant permissions to the user you logged on? Is it via and IFS internal permission sets like IFSAPP_FULL??
