Good Afternoon All,Can anyone advise if there is a way in which the Team Leader details can be viewed on the Mobile Work Order App.  We want to use this functionality to inform the engineer who the Office point of contact/lead is for the job. The fields below are located within the Prepare Tab of the Work Order - Many thanks for your assistance 

If you have a Maintenance Employee in multiple resource groups and you’re using Work Task Clockings from mWO, IFS will put the resource group linked to the demand as the resource group on Work Task Clocking.  And if you’re doing service it will drive the correct sales pricing.  Issue I have is regardless of how an organization bills an employee time, he should always be costed the same (like a default resource group for cost).  Is there a way to do this?

Hi All I created a Document class under which I plan to connect a certain set of documents to either PO header or line (or both) in the future. Now I need to give all IFS users in my organization ‘View Only’ access to this Doc Class. I read the following post and the answer by @Thilini Kumarasinghe and noticed that PO is not among the standard object types available for access control.   Can anybody guide me through the steps on how should I do this with regards to the access setup? HelloI am trying to create custom notification in NotifyMe touch apps.I have problem with enabling buttons for Accept or Reject notification.I have necesary columns (ACTION_1, ACTION_2) in header sql statement with returning value "1" as stated in the documentation .I struggle with the examples from the documentation, but the Approve and Reject buttons are disabled always.We are trying this scenario on IFS9 environment with UPD16 in Custom configuration of IFS Touch Apps Cloud NotifyMe.Does anyone have an idea where the problem might be?

IFS 10 update 11 regarding dates. I noticed that the duration on the work task originally sets the planned finish date after the planned start is entered. When you update the duration longer, the planned finish will recalculate based on that, but if you update the duration to a shorter time it does not update the planned finish. Is there a reason for that functionality or am I missing something in my data?Duration was at 4, entered planned start date/time of 10:00 AM and it ended at 3pm with the hour of lunch calculated.Duration changed to 20 and get a pop up which pushed out the planned finish.When you bring back to 6 hours it doesn’t re-calculate again. 

When adding a resource to a task in Prepare Work Order on clicking save the user is receiving the following error message:Allocated To 71992 is not connected to Contractor 10310 in Work Task 17900. Any ideas on how to resolve.Thank you.

In IFS 10 EE is there a better way to control updates to the Failure Analysis codes? For example I can tell that in the basic data the option to invalidate or block has been added to many of the basic data codes, but when they are marked blocked they do not stop showing up for the end user because they are already in the failure analysis set up navigator. Are we missing something that can help control that?

We have seen slowness in processing the messages in PUSH queue. How we can solve this slowness issue? We tried several ways but it is not solved.

Hello,Could someone please help with the situation bellow?I have set up a schedule to transfer the work assignments to mobile with transfer_window = 1.I understand that the system will transfer just the the of the allocated start.But the system has transfered all the assignments of different day.E.g. Allocated start to 08/21/2021, 08/01/2021 etc. Or the transfer_window means that the system will transfer all previous assignments till the sysdate as I chose “1” in the parameter field?Tks a lot   

We have a middleware service, that is serving 4 instances of IFS on a UAT basis.All of these instances can be connected to using the URL https://ifsinstancename.microlise.com/”port”However, on the Windows IIS Manager, there isn’t a bindings section that covers the https connection.I need to update a soon to expire digital certificate, but cannot find where it picks up the bindings for it.Does anyone know how I can resolve this, or should I log it with IFS support? Thank you for looking.Kind regardsRichard.

Is it possible to update a Sell Price on a service line once pushed to the Customer Order?  We receive an error stating it must be done in the Work Order but wondering if there is a bypass flag somewhere in the basic data to avoid that. We are using IFS APS10 Thank You

In Apps 9 on the material requisition tab of the Separate Standard job view, you could RMB on a new line and use the option LOV from Purchase Part. When added to a work order, this would automatically generate a Purchase Requisition on the work order. Is there a similar functionality in Apps 10 using the Work Task Template?

Scanning on Receiving Screen.We have a requirement from one of our customers, that on receiving screen they would like to have the scanning facility (wifi scanner) in such a way that on units tab, as soon as serial is entered in row 1, it automatically goes to new row and user is able to just continuously keep scanning the serial numbers (like how we have in supermarkets).They would not like to new button every time. to create a new row and then scan the serial.Also they would prefer even the first time they don't have to click on new. They would just want to start scanning and the entry should be created in units tab automatically. They just want to scan one after the other and system should automatically consider it as a new serial. Is there an option to do so? 

I’ve noticed alot of users triggering the following error in our mobile error run log   It states:   Error: EXCEPTION Message: Person ID passed in is not valid or is not a mobile user. ... Stack Trace:    at Metrix.BusinessServer.BusinessPolicies.SharedTablesComponent.MobileManager.PerformReplicationForTable(String tableNameIn, String personIdIn) Message:PerformReplicationForTable(table:STOCK_SERIAL_ID)   Any idea what this is? I know it says not a mobile user but i can’t tell what they’re doing to get this error   Happens all day but no one is getting errors on screen, this is just on this end  

Is the Execution Time used for anything on PM Actions in Apps 10?  I understand the use of the duration which is at the work task level.  Since the introduction of duration on work tasks in Apps 10, what functionality does the execution time provide in IFS Applications 10?

Customer is getting the “Something went wrong. Check your TAs URL ” Error when tried to login with Azure AD with notify me 10(RTM) AppAdditional INFO:Customer is in apps 10 UPD8 and the Notify Me Cloud Resource is 1.0.3.0. We can confirm that the TAS configurations are fine because Trip tracker 10(RTM)  app is working fine in the same environment. And this error is only for iOS(android works fine).I have attached the AD redirect URI’s in azure it seems also fine.Please kindly provide us your comments on this./Subash Perera

I am trying to send the part information through csv outbound integration, but when the description/or any field has “ in it (example Spindle Motor") the output by default i am getting as Spindle Motor"”.Integration Log:  Map Used:Value In DB:Can anyone tell me how to correct this ? 

Is there a functionality that will give me a warning if i try to create a Work Order using a customer where the customer record is expired?

We use the service contract functionality to create annual maintenance contracts for our customers. We would like to create and assign work orders to our engineers for scheduling purposes before the contract start date (we don’t plan to create any financial postings etc until the contract starts).   Example: A service contract with a start date of 01/02/2020. We would set this up in advance and use the ‘PM Settings’ tab to create the number of work orders we require. This would create the relevant entries on the ‘PM Maintenance Plan’ tab which you can generate work orders from. However the ‘Generate Work Order’ RMB option is greyed out on the ‘PM Maintenance Plan’ tab until you reach 01/02/2020. It would be ideal if we could do this the week before, this would allow us to schedule better.   We could just put the Start Date of the Service Contract earlier, however this would mean the date doesn’t reflect the correct ‘commercial’ start date.

Is the service Report in mWo Service 10 supposed to not show expenses that have been reported in mobile?

Let me preface this with telling you I know absolutely nothing about IFS. I work for an MSP and one of our newest clients uses it. I wasn’t able to find any KB, and reaching out to IFS support didn’t help - they wouldn’t talk to me without a ticket. I have a user that needs to print from IFS. I need a print agent as a go between her windows printers and IFS right? which one should i get? I know they used cirrato in the past.She also is unable to drag and drop files from her desktop to attach them to documents, any workaround there?Once again, any KB links accessible by non-subscribers would be greatly appreciatedTIA
