When using the map button on the schedule board screen in the webclient, error code populates the screen, "http failure response"

What would cause this http error?

Hi @Ann Degroat,

This error could be due to multiple reasons. Therefore for an in-depth technical investigation you might need to report this to IFS Support so that subject experts will troubleshoot it in the customer environment.

It’s possible that the URL that the FSM application is calling to display the Map is prohibited by the Security policy on the web server or the overall domain.  I believe the callout can be seen in the Server Log to get the URL that’s being used.

I’m having an issue with a specific lat/long coordinate. I believe if the map is not working at all then yes security issue could be preventing access.

Hi @Ann Degroat

What was the exact issue behind in your case? We are also facing the similar in a customer environment, while it works perfectly fine in an internal environment.

Please refer below for more info

Appreciate your input.

Great. Thanks for the info. We get it in Schedule board Map button. Only in customer environment. It is working fine in IFS internal environments. Which is the confusing part.

Looks like you are referring to G2232702 - Map feature not working in Web Client.

There you have have the issue on specific geo codes. But, the issue that we encounter is independent from a specific geo code, as per my testing.

Thanks again for the info. I will have report this to support to verify if something to be fixed from product level or if it is due to a security policy/infrastructure issue.
