TouchApps server 'breaks' after IIS restart of "IFS TouchApps" web site

If we happen to need to restart the IIS web site for our TouchApps server, then TouchApps no longer works (503 error when loading customer portal page)

Please check under Application Pools if “IFS Touch Apps Server pool” is stopped. Both Application Pool & the web site should be running.
