Hello, I would like to export my proposal posting data or any section to a database that is kept updated, without having to download the data all the time to Excel. Thanks

I was enabled in PSO yesterday and was able to login through the Smart/web client. When I tried logging in today, my profile was not enabled and I could not login. Do you know what may have caused this?

Hello Community,We are using IFS APPS 8.We have inventory part name =APS2-000001692, it has component parts in Product Structure as you see in picture below. We need to create shop order when the on Hand stock is less than safety stock. Is something like this possible or how can we use the safety stock amount. Could you share a document on the correct use of safety stock?

Hello, We’re in a process of building a customized context mapping for page GL Balance Analysis. I’ve setup a rule with the following data for context “TEST” , COMPANY = 220 AND USER != IFSAPP To my understanding, the context “TEST” should be now used as the default value, when the criterias are fullfilled and GL Balance analysis page is accessed (As they’re in this example). But this is not the case as one can see, the context global remains as the default value. Any ideas what could’ve gone wrong & get the desired context as default value to be displayed?

Hi Community, This may be a simple question, but I cannot find description anywhere. I have created a Workflow, that is run from a Custom Event, that is triggered from the New record in the Inventory Transaction History table. The Workflow executes, but as soon as it trys to use the values from the custom event in an API Read Call, it errors. I dont understand how to map the fields in the custom event, i.e. source_ref1, source_ref2, which are NEW:Source_ref1, NEW:Source_ref2 in the event to the Parameters in an API call. When the workflow runs, i get an error indicating that ${SourceRef1} is unknown. Is there anywhere that explains the mapping between the fields that are made available in the Custom Event, and what the syntax needs to be when passing these values to the API call, or do you need to intercept them in the workflow with some javascript to set the variables to make them available? Thanks,

I want to remove or assign a property to the company but I don’t see any add or delete icons or any other command that would allow be to assign or remove or edit a company property.  Might there be a permissions set for this or something else that I need to be able to do this?  Using the Appowner or setting myself as the HR Manager has not helped.Thank you.Patrick

Hello,I am having trouble logging into the IFS Lifecycle portal. Some time ago, I added the Microsoft Authorization app for logging in, but I no longer have access to my old phone. Is it possible to remove the previous login method through the app so that I can add authorization on my new phone?

On our test environment we are exploring Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) V1 as the legacy GCM/FCM method was deprecated 20/6/2023 and will no longer work 20/6/2024. Our Android devices do not seem to be registering in the Azure Notification Hub when FCM V1 is the only option (successfully linked and tested to Firebase). The “FSM Mobile Messaging Guide” we have was last updated 5/3/2021 and does not cover FCM V1, so am wondering if there’s a step we’re missing to have FCM V1 work, like a toggle in a config file, etc?

HelloHow can I create a view like the one in the image where I can add steps and at the end I can generate a work order. It would be with 3 steps (Next) and a finish, in each step it would require several necessary data. The traditional process does not work for the client and they want this type of screen.

When are working in 23R1. All of our users have a default coordinator in sites per user. The coordinators are populating in customer order but not on the customer agreement. Is this core functionality? If it is can someone explain the logic behind it?

We’re trying to use an Event Action to POST a message to azure service bus. We are trying to use the Azure Shared Key and  using the Azure Service Bus Primary Key value in the Event Action key field. Hello,We have a situation where a customer invoice has not posted due to a non-inventory sales part line being added to the customer order with no price list attached. The order has then been invoiced but not posted due to this missing price list. The error is: “Value is missing or has an invalid time interval for posting type M30 control type C17 code part A in company”Posting type M30 shows the price lists and when you go into them, details the ‘Sales Group for Sales Part’ and the ‘Account’ that the cost is allocated to. As there is no price list on this line in question, it has no reference of where to code the cost to in the accounts. It will not let me amend the line to add a price list, as the order has been invoiced already. Is there any way I can solve this to allow me to final post the invoice? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The below issue description simply must be a bug, does anyone know the bug-ID?We just upgraded from IFSAPP10 UPD3 to UPD17. Since the upgrade a few Customer Order invoices get stuck in state Printed. Analysis results in the conclusion that two posting rows are missing, neither VAT posting nor the AR-account posting are present. Consequently the error message is that the balance in accounting currency is above the set tolerance level. This has happened to twelve of 53 invoices for seven customers, never more than two one day, not more than four to one customer. Only one customer has only one invoice during this period, all the others have several invoices with successful postings.

On the Customer Order Direct ship transaction flow the M4 postings result in unbalance on the cost centres. Is this a bug or have we set up the transaction in error? If so what?

Apps 10 UPD19.Hi All,Quick question if I may, I have added a .png file (image) in a Crystal report. There is a customer who had already migrated documents into IFS Cloud File Storage using "Cloud File Storage Migration Tool".  After  upgrade database and import it into IFS Cloud Use Place, will the previously migrated documents be retained in File Storage?IFS Documentation (https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/24r1/030_administration/210_cloud_file_storage/fsmigtool/#configure_the_target_environment_with_all_file_extensions) states the following steps as part of document migration process:     Overall process of migrating filesAnalyze data in the source database or Shared and FTP repository folders Decide what to migrate and not Migrate the data (what this tool does) Delete migrated data from the source database (example scripts provided) Export meta data from fss_file_tab (documented here). Hi,I would like to know if we can modify the fields in the schedule board on the web dispatch console.Today I don’t have the city, I would like to have it. Is it possible to change the fields displayed on each activity blockIn the smart dispatch console we have the city Thanks and regardsanthony

Good day.  I would like to link a Substitute Schedule to a Cycle Schedule.  Both have been set up.  However, when I want to add the Substitute Schedule to the Cycle Schedule, the fields that need to be populated refers to the “Shift”.  The Shift Window covers basically a Shift Name and Description.  What are the steps to link a Substitute Schedule to a Cycle Schedule?  Many thanks.

I’m trying to upgrade a customer environment to 24.1.0. All is well until I get to create the topic environment. I’ve tried that step twice and everytime the environment creation failed. The strange thing about this is that there’s no obvious error in ifs_ant_generateddb log file. Every time the process seems to be killed during code generation (every time the piece of code generated was different).I’m wondering if there’s anyone experiencing the same weird behaviour? On the 10th of June it failed when trying to generate the code for ObjectPhysicalCountHistory.clientOn the 11th of June it failed when trying to generate the code for PartCostBucketVariance.client

Hi all, In Microsoft Visual Studio 2022 (MS VS 2022), I noticed that the FSMVSPackage extension cannot be installed.I want to use the extension for the FSM Report Customization. The installation worked fine with MS VS 2017. I obtained the extension from the following post (FSMVSPackage): https://community.ifs.com/field-service-management-fsm-planning-and-scheduling-optimization-pso-249/fsm-report-customization-6080 My Current MS VS Version: Microsoft Visual Studio Community 2022 (64-bit) -  Version 17.9.7Error message when installing: This extension is not installable on any currently installed products. Is there a way to get the extension to run? Or can I customize the extension so that it also works with MS VS 2022? Or is there a newer version of the extension that works with MS VS 2022? Best regardsLars Gießler

Hello, could someone give and advice or maybe know from the experience, what field of NCR (or some other quality management form) can be used for identifying the person, who is responsible that nonconformity occurred. The client wants to collect information about the persons who are responsible that non-conformities appeared. For example, every operator is responsible for the quality of operation executed by him/her. If the nonconformity was found and that nonconformity appeared due to low quality of the operation that he/she is responsible for,  client want to identify that person in NCR or some other form.I thought maybe to use Responsible for NCR, but I think it is not such purpose of this field. Are there any other solutions where such information can be filled? Or maybe only to create custom field for that purpose.Thank you beforehand:)
