On our test environment we are exploring Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) V1 as the legacy GCM/FCM method was deprecated 20/6/2023 and will no longer work 20/6/2024. Our Android devices do not seem to be registering in the Azure Notification Hub when FCM V1 is the only option (successfully linked and tested to Firebase).

The “FSM Mobile Messaging Guide” we have was last updated 5/3/2021 and does not cover FCM V1, so am wondering if there’s a step we’re missing to have FCM V1 work, like a toggle in a config file, etc?

I believe this is now something to be fixed in update 29 (August), with a revision update for updates 26, 27, and 28.
