Good, How can I visualise the Custom Fields created from IFS, in Business Report? Thank you very much. Best regards.

License Usage of ‘IFSANONYMOUS’  (IFS Anonymous User) has become ‘Full’ after APPS8 to APPS10 Upgrade. License Usage for ‘IFSANONYMOUS’ was ‘None’ in APPS8 and now in APPS10 it has consumed 1 Full User license. Why it consumes a Full user even though it is an IFS System User?

We are using IFS APPS 9. Scheduled database tasks run daily for Manufacturing Lead Time (10 PM) and cumulative lead time (8 PM) calculations, as well as daily MRP calculations (1 AM). A quick report for the MRP is generated and sent out at 5:00 AM. Generally, this process is consistent day-to-day, but we have noticed disruptions during weekends.During weekends, lead times for certain parts increase, affecting our MRP reports over the weekend and on the following Monday (or the 1st working day of the week). To address this issue on Monday, we have tried manually re-running the scheduled database tasks for Manufacturing Lead Time, Cumulative Lead Time, and MRP calculations site-wide. This correction ensures accurate lead times and MRP reports. We would appreciate insights into why these disruptions occur and any suggestions for prevention. Thank you for your assistance.

Hi All,Does anyone have an idea on how the value for keyref is generated?Shipment ID is the parent key of the entity ‘SupplierShipmentLine’, so I expected it to be shown first, but this is not the case. (LINE_NO=1^SHIPMENT_ID=10^)I checked the relevant projection and the keys are defined in correct order as well -Thanks,Dananjaya Misso.

HI ,Can I get an explanation of using this payment tolerance option. Many Thanks,L.K

In APPS 10 when selecting the status park on the shop orders screen it prompts me to select a Park Reason, we currently do not use this status but would like to utilize it, but not sure how to load park reasons and descriptions. I do not see where this can be added via basic data. Any help would be great. Thanks!

I was wondering if someone could explain what inventory and financial transactions result from the receipt of by-product from a shop order? thank you

Hi,  We have a customer upgrading from an IFS APPS10 implementation to IFS Cloud. There are currently using IFS Apps10 Aurena, but only for limited functionality like time registration. Is there a way/tool to transform the permission sets created in APPS10 IEE to IFS Cloud, projection based permission sets? Are there any innovative ways that you are currently using? Also any best practices to follow in such an upgrade of permission sets would be appreciated, so that we prepare the permission sets in APPS10 so that it is easier to upgrade. Thanks in Advance!   @NikhilMalik

HI,I get the following error even after having the tax information entered. Please advise.ThanksL.K

Hi, we have a customer that has First Card as their vendor for credit card transactions to IFS/Travel Expense. Do you (here in this community) have experience to set up this integration? Thanks in advance for all your input

Does anyone have a guide to Importing Employee Credit Card Transactions? Is there a standard Data Migration job to do this?I need to import a .csv file containing Employee Credit Card Transactions where the employees are using company credit cards. The employees will not be reimbursed, because the company will be charged by the bank and pay for it directly. Thanks,GrahamIFS Cloud Web version: 23.1.13.20240501151610.0

Hello,I am trying to use ETM to pull out the Acquired Date of an item, then set a custom Date field value based on this date. The custom field will be set to 49 months after the Acquire date.Pulling out the value of the system field and doing the calculation is no issue, however when I try to set the value of the custom field, I am getting this error: In this case, the “acquiredDate” variable is being set earlier in the mapper from outbound.self.acquiredDate. If I convert the value to a string and use it to set the value on a single-line string field, it works fine (see below).  Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Duncan

In Cloud 22R1, How the field Executed By updated in Historical Work Order

Customer Contract Module: It would be very helpful if we could add the standard field is_renewed as a field to the search screen for Customer Contracts.  Is there a way to accomplish this? Thanks in advance.

Got a customer wondering if this is a BUG? Site CTCIR is used on both the “Sales Charge Type” and the “Pack Size Charge Price List” The “Pack Size Charge List” is not working properly: The Pack Size Charge List pulls in the “Sales Charge Type”    However, the Sales Charge Type/Charge Type is not populating correctly in the Pack Size Charge List. The entry “CHARGE” is listed in the Sales Charge Type screen but does not show up as an option on the pack size charge list.

In the CTO setup for a part, how can I populate a value for one characteristic based on the value entered in another. For example, if the value selected for Characteristic 1 is “SKY”, I’d like the value for Characteristic 2 to be “BLUE”. I’d like the value automatically populated in Characteristic 2 without the user having to enter it. Thank you!

i have try to integrated Cloud with PSO. To setup I use  Scheduling Optimization and Machine Learning Configuration Assistant. in final step, with finishing assistant it’s throws error,Validating IFS Cloud callback URL failed. Error message was: PlsqlapServer.ERRINV: ExecutionException from Sender threadCaused by: ifs.fnd.connect.senders.ConnectSender$TemporaryFailureException: Exception while sending dataCaused by: java.net.UnknownHostException:. If this is an external URL which can be accessed only from IFS Optimization server, it cannot be validated using the configuration assistant. The URL may still work when accessed externally. Do you want to continue?

Hi everyone, I am on IFS Cloud 22R1 and I want to read my oracle database. I read in the IFS documentation that it was no longer possible to attack the oracle database via ODBC (https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/22r1/040_tailoring/300_extensibility/600_integration/080_legacy_int_methods/#legacy_integration_methods).However, an oracle system account exists "IFSDBREADONLY". Is there any way of performing this operation (https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/22r1/030_administration/010_security/010_users/#special_oracle_users_in_ifs_cloud)?Thanks for your reply

Hi We are beginning our project to upgrade to IFS cloud, and are currently working a bit with the lobbies in IFS cloud (Our build place is at 23R2). In APPS10 we would create counter elements and then navigate to the data by simply providing a page, and checking “Use Datasource Condition”. But this does not appear to work, in the build place at least. Do we need to provide additional parameters in IFS cloud? We are selecting from the same page/entity that we are navigating to, so that should line up. An example is navigating to Tax Codes. we have tried navigating to URL: page/TaxCodes/List and to https://>hostname>/main/ifsapplications/web/page/TaxCodes/List. Both URLs have gotten us to the page, but neither seem to use the datasource conditionBest Regards

I’m not sure if this is expected behavior of the Operation No field in the By-product tab in shop order, but I’ve noticed that linking it to an operation number does not change how the OH cost and Oper cost are applied to the byproduct. Is this the correct behavior? and if so, is there a way to only apply a specific operations labor cost to a byproduct? (the material is correct because it has it’s own cost distribution tab)in this example, 175237-057-R is the byproduct produced in operation 10.
