Hello IFS Community,I exported a layout from the IFS CFG environment on the Report Definition page. It’s a working layout that I previously modified and now need to update. However, when I try to open it in IFS Report Designer (connected to the CFG environment), the PDF does not open.I haven’t made any changes yet. Even when I try to open layouts that I had successfully modified before, the PDF still does not open.Has anyone experienced this behavior or know what might be causing it?As shown in the screenshot below, I am connected to the CFG environment.

This seems like a basic request but I cannot find any way to achieve this inside IFS (Apps10).If we have a part shortage, how can we generate a list of all top level parts (manufactured units) that this part could go into? With a lot of manual work/expanding of assemblies we can get there using the Complete Where Used and Component Where Used screens, but we have to expand all of the multiple level sub-assemblies in order to find all of the top level parts that are impacted.Surely there has to be a better, quicker way to identify just a simple list of top level units (final assembly) that would require a specific part?

Dear All, I was working with Work Orders, Permits and Isolation orders. The whole idea was to create Work Task Templates and Pm actions involving Permits and Isolation orders so that 1 Work Order would suffice. I want to create 1 Work Order where 2 Work Tasks need to be done (with a dependency Start after Finish). The 1st Work Task involves welding so the machine has to be 100% electrically isolated - and will be performed by a Welder. The 2nd Work Task is a calibaration mode, so the machine must have power, but still be isolated from the normal production. Conveyor belts (that are powered separately) are not allowed to be running. So different kind of permitThe thing is, apparently to be able to start the 1st Work Task, both permits need to be released. Despite the fact that the Work Task are 2 completely separate things that are performed after each other, by different people, maybe even with a day in between due to scheduling conflicts.  So this does not seem to making sense to me. I

I have a question. Is it possible to configure the repository of the "File storage" type in such a way that the files of attachments of different classes of documents are stored in different directories and not in one collective "Docman"?

Hello,  I am wondering whether there is a given set-up on the inventory part, main part or anywhere else, where these parametres can be set.   The point is that we want to have the structure depth: Full level And the “allow changes to DOP Structure”: ON  Without the necessity to switch it once the DOP is created.  Thank you,Best RegardsPetaKu

Hello I am raising some questions on behalf of customers. Our customer was always requesting Partner to raise cases but this Partner will be replaced to another company, hence they (customer/new partner) need to know how to raise the case from themselves. Is it possible for user bulk registration to IFS portal? if answer is yes, could you please tell us the process and all required information? Could you please let us know the process if users forget their user id and password and how they can recover when their ids are expired. We would appreciate if you could provide the onboarding material or technical document. Regards,Chikako Yoshimura

Hello. We would like to send an email to a customer with the PDF file of their invoice as attached file. What’s the best solution for that? I was thinking via rule report, is that the best way? Also, in that case, how can we do the sending?ThanksIFS 10 - upd 5

I found an On-Boarding element in the Account lobby view in Cloud, but I can’t find where to create the on-boarding process, nor find any more information here in the IFS Community or in the IFS documentation. Can someone explain how to get this in to use, and if there are any more documented information (product documentation) on the function?

25.1.7In previous versions there was a page titled Manufacturing Structures. Here it is in Apps10.I do not see this page in my 25R1 world.I recall reading in the Release Notes that a new term, Master Structure, was introduced at some point. Did a page for Master Structures get overlooked?

Hello all, This is Chikako Yoshimura who is working as CSM in Japan Region.I am raising queries on behalf of customer. I would appreciate it if you could answer as soonas you can.The below is customer message.---------------------We are planning to conduct an assessment for the release update to the latest version (26R1).In June, we are planning to perform not only the Impact Assessment but also the Release Update Assessment. My understanding is that executing RequestReleaseUpdate will create a new version repository (?) in Build Place, and I would like to confirm the following two points: Is it correct to understand that the current version environment (24R2) will not be affected until CreateDelivery is executed? Is it possible to change the target update version after completing the Release Update Assessment? ---------------------Thank you.Chikako Yoshimura

Good morning, The technicians' shifts are generally 5/7 from 7 am to 5 pm.However, every week, some technicians have a shift composed of standard shift + on-call-On-call: (from 00.00 to 7.00) + (from 17.00 to 00.00) (Monday/Friday)-On- call: Saturday and Sunday: on-call (00.00 to 00.00).Shifts must be split up and separated from standard shifts, while during on-call hours tasks can only be assigned manually. (MANUAL_SCHEDULING_ONLY)How can I manage this in PSO, as I have visibility of the shifts in DC/PSO? My understanding is that the on-call=yes function does not allow me to do this and I thought I could handle this by creating shift deviations. Doing this for each resource once a week seems very time-consuming and not very smart. Is there a better and faster way? Is it a correct way?

No Work Task is generated from the selected template. A failed transaction is returned, with a temporary number assigned to the task.Could you please advise on this? no Work Task is created for Job Id=2
