I have created custom menus in several screens, and they are working. But for one custom menu I want it to display only there is a value in a specific field. Therefore, I used conditions. But seems the custom menu is not accepting the condition. I have a Quick Report (Crystal Report) that has the parameter WO_NO (work order number).   The report works fine.   Created a custom menu on the work order header and in the custom menu set the Quick Report Parameter as: Source Key Name = WO_NO Dest Key Name = WO_NO This again works fine but the user has to press enter when the parameter screen displays the Work Order No.   Can this be set to AUTO accept the value being passed?

Hi, we have an issue where we want to use document attachments for expenses. The users who will need to be able to view the attachment is the employee the expense sheet has been created for, the employees manager and an administration team. Generally the employee is inputting the attachment so will automatically get permission to see the document, adding an administrative team is easy but how can I get the employees line manager to view the document without opening the document up to multiple other users?ThanksHelen

I know you can request an emergency license (last 3 days) from IFS using the link provided.   This generates a license key.   How do I apply this?  Normally, we receive an xml and click apply then select the xml to license the software.   Thanking you in advance for your help.

However we have the desire to use some kind of (B2B) portal so that our customers can register cases and look at the status of their cases. I cannot find any information regarding this being included in the Aurena B2B. Does anyone have any experience with this?

I have a lobby element which uses year period as a parameter, is there a way to have the description show in the title, rather than just the year period. e.g. if I enter ($YEAR_PERIOD$) in the title, it correctly shows 2020-07, but I’d like it to show January 2020.   Is there a way to use a SQL query in the title?

Hi all (me again!)   Off the back of my previous topic and @RavinduS help I have managed to import my price list however I have hit a different issue.  If I enter a sales price manually on the Sales Price List → Part Based tab (and press tab/save) it will auto populate the following fields. Calc Sales Price Sales Price Incl Tax Base Price Base Price Inc Tax When creating the migration job the following fields (with flag MIU) are required to have a value which normally are auto-populated off of the Sales Price being entered however if I don’t enter a default value the migration job error’s out demanding that the field has a value. ORA-20124: Error.NULLVALUE: Field [SALES_PRICE_INCL_TAX] is mandatory for Sales Price List Part and requires a value. For now I have entered ‘0’ into the default value field to get around the error for the following fields. Currently, when adding a new button (within command groups in the page designer) it seems that the ExternalNavigationLink is being restricted to prefix with either http:// or https:// - is there any way of calling a custom scheme / protocol (class) registered on the PC?   I have a local class that has been associated with a software in where I want to invoke it from Aurena. When I create a new Change Request Record I would like to Auto Populate the “CR No:” with text like the following. ABC-0001 Where the 0001 would increment up as a sequence.   So after creating 5 Change Request I would have the following “CR No:” in the system.   CR No: ABC-0001 ABC-0002 ABC-0003 ABC-0004 ABC-0005 Any help would be greatly appreciated.  

Hi IFS, I have created a custom field which accepts data from another custom field. The second custom field is a type of reference and it is in a custom logical unit. The first custom field gets data from the List of Values.  I noticed same column is duplicated in the list of values window and it contains data which I have not entered. This behavior was not in the past. Any suggestions to avoid this?    

Hi Using the custom event STEP_READY_FOR_APPROVAL  as part of the document management approval routing to send an email. Email subject is using the variable &MESSAGE_TEXT which as an example contains the following:  “Document Class 3015, No 1678422, Sheet 1 , Rev REV00 is ready for your immediate approval” My questions is there a way to amend the content of this variable somewhere in IFS? Hello, I have made an event that throws an error message to the user, using the error_sys.record_general function, based on some criteria set in the event, which triggers on a change in the status of the object.  error_sys.record_general( 'SomeLogicUnit', 'SOMEERRORMSG: this is an error message'); I am in the process of creating another event that will change the status of the object, but I am wondering if it is possible to catch the exception raised in the other event, and handle it separately?  Without handling the event, and running the event manually in a DBMS, the procedure completes, but returns ORA-20110: SomeLogicUnit.SOMEERRORMSG: this is an error message   My event would look something like this: BEGIN --change status on object, which may cause an error to be raised in the other eventEXCEPTION WHEN ... THEN -- handle the exception raised from the other eventEND; If I specify “EXCEPTION WHEN others THEN … “ I will catch the error raised in the other event, but I won’t know t

Is it possible to convert the returned data from a Client Script SQL to multiple columns in a Client Script so that you can return muliple columns into a Data Source which I can directly show in a list element in the Lobby? From what I have learned I am able to create a ‘Client Script SQL’, which I call from an Client Script with the function getDBValues(“Client Script SQL id” ). From there I am able to return a list of data in a column called Return. This is some default ‘column’ which I can return from a Client Script, but I am wondering if I can return multiple columns in the Client Scrip for the Data Source to read and select instead of just one called ‘Return’?

If I have a Crystal Report that contains sub-reports, do I have to add CR_WEB_INIT to the sub-reports as well as the main report?

As a customer I am unable to access wis.ifsworld.com, which is the place where I should be able to see minimum and/or recommended platform specs for running the Aurena client. Fundamentally, I’m looking to identify specs for low-end tablets that would work well enough to be functional IFS Aurena clients. Can anyone either provide an alternative location to find this information or provide it directly here?  Any specific recommendations for cheap but viable tablets would also be appreciated if anyone has implemented any. Hi, We are doing an IFS Applications 10 implementation to a Manufacturing client. One of the processes of the client is to create a recipe structure for Manufacturing. Our scenario is, there is an unfinished recipe which is still in Tentative state. When we try to add components to our structure, we get the error “Phase In date of this component conflicts with parent revision date range”. In our client’s business, a Chemist (person who enters the recipe) might start working on a recipe (still in Tentative state) last week and he/she should be able to add components until he/she is done with the recipe. The Phase In Date should not be problem until the Recipe Structure is completed. At the moment, we have to change the Phase In date for the parent or child every time we add a component to the Recipe Structure which is not practical. Can anyone advise how to components to an unfinished recipe structure when it is still in Tentative state?  Please refer to attached screenshot for more inf
