If the Shop Order has a Weighted Average component, you can’t Cancel it even after revers all the transactions and perform Transfer Inventory Transactions. Feels like the correct functionality due to revaluations happening with Weighted Average components each time when cost is changed.
But would like to know the real logic behind this.

it might be because when a weighted average issue transaction on the order needs to be reevaluated, the shop order is re-opened and re-closed automatically in the background. That could not happen if it is in cancelled status
