Is it possible to show/hide fields (setControlVisibility) or set some fields as required/not required (setControlRequired) on the FSM Smart Client Screen using Client Script?  I want to set some fields as not required based on the task_type on the TASK screen, so that I do not get the validation error when saving.  If task_type = A set user_def1 as required  else if task_type = B set user_def1 as not required

When in Print Customer Invoices the E-mail Invoice option is greyed out.        The customer record has an email address defined and it is set to default for method. Can someone please advise why this would happen and how to resolve. Thank you.

Hi Experts, As I know, ‘Finished’ & ‘Cancelled’ status WOs are viewed in ‘Historical Work Orders’ screen. But, if you look on the search option for ‘Status’, it shows two more options i.e. ‘END’ & ‘Reopened’ . So, can anyone please let me know the situations of those WOs ??? what are the instances of getting such status for WOs ???   Thanks, Thieuban

Hello!  I’ve been trying to clear down some operational transactions in order to change the base for cost/revenue elements from code part A project to another code part (with no function)  I have cleared all the transactions and there are no errors.  But when I try to change the base I still get an error: “It is not possible to change the base cost/revenue element as there are non-transferred PCM transactions”  I’ve been trying to find out what PCM transactions are and where they are with no luck -  Does anyone have any ideas on where this may be ?  The Error Message Any suggestion is welcome!! Hi, I’m starting to use IFS Application. It’s a Windows Client running on Windows 10 Professional. I was reading the on line help and doing the excercises proposed on the e-learning page. When working with the toolbar, I used the contextual menu to hide diferent toolbars. Suddenly, I hided all the toolbars and I can not find the way to show the toolbar again. Don’t laugh - I know, 2003, yeah!   Does anyone have a copy of the Data Import executable that allows you to load in new records, and update existing data in IFS2003. Hello In FSM 5.7 mobile, when attaching photos, you can only take the photo and save within FSM but not to your camera roll. This is an issue as there have been many instances of the file getting corrupted and unable to retrieve it since it only exists in the attachment database.   Is there a way to allow the app to save these photos to the camera roll as well? I know users can upload there own photos but you have to navigate through android root menus and that is not user friendly

We have certain windows that currently do not allow us to attach documents. I am looking to enable attachment in the windows but do not know how too. How would I do this in IFS 9?

We want to analyze in which lobbies (and quick reports and events) a specific database field is being used, but we can’t find the queries used by lobbies somewhere in the database. Can anybody tell me, where these information can be found?

When I release a customer order that has a manufactured order line, it creates a shop order.   One of the custom fields on ShopOrd has a default value, but no record gets created on SHOP_ORD_CFT, so the default value isn’t set when the shop order gets created.   How do I ensure the SHOP_ORD_CFT record gets created when the shop order is created from a customer order?

When generating the tasks from a contract using PM Contract Manager i get an error in the run log the error states “There is no row at position -1.”   i re-created the contract and the results are the same. any idea what this is referring to?    

Hi, My client plans to share Ifs.Fnd.Explorer.application runtime manifest file for all our users instead of creating shortcut to the IFS landing page due to internal IT reasons.  Question - Every time we apply IFS Updates or Deliveries to the Application Instance, do we need to copy the latest manifest file again across client PCs or this isn’t required as the ClickOnce file is just a pointer which launches the updated IFS Applications IEE client automatically? I am 99% sure we don’t need to copy the file again but want to be 100% certain before we follow this approach. Thanks in advance!

Hello!   I can’t grant permission to sticky notes to the permission set. I’ve already gave ‘Activity’ ‘ManageNotes’. Any other ideas? It is frame “frmEmployeeEquipmentCard”. Hi can anyone please tell me how to install FSM mobile service in my Mobile.Now i am using mobile service through NOX mobile emulator but i want to use the service in my mobile phone only. I tried to download the service in mobile through but its not connecting its saying localhost refused to connect.Remember the FSM i installed is on premise installation only with my local IIS server. Please help me how i can use FSM mobility service in my Mobile.
