Create a Customer Order for 100 unit. Release. Reserve 50 units. Create Picklist for reserved quantity. Shipment will be created. Do the Report picking of 50 units. From Shipment Window header => RMB => Print shipment delivery note. Delivery note will be created. It says 100 Delivered and seems misleading.

quick context:  we have FSM & NAV integrated within each other. Somehow, our the sequence of contacts stopped matching the last sequence in FSM is 55912 and NAV is 52614. So when NAV is making a contact that clashes with FSM, its overwriting tons of information, including place records. Anyways, is there a way to change where the series continues from? can i have it jump up to 60,000 for example on the next entry? right now when i click new it goes to 52767 (which is 3000 less than the last record)

Good morning, I wonder if you can refresh my memory on the following: I have created a custom menu on the Sales Quotation Line and Sales Quotation Lines so that the user can RMB and Approve Sales Quotation Lines, ( note:  this updates 3 custom fields user_id, date_approved and approved_yn).  (PL/SQL Code) My question is how can I grant this RMB to a select group of users? Many Thanks John

Hi all,We have a program that takes a single file as input (E.g. dxf). Doing execution it creates some additional files in the same directory. When we attach the files, we can drag them into IFS and it looks like this. The problems is to edit the files again. The program execute on the cur-file, but needs the other 3 files. How can we edit the cur file and download the 3 other files in the process?

We would like a warning message to appear, when a user attempts to set a work order to status ‘Finished’ but they have not ticked a custom check box that we have set up. Can anyone point me in the right direction to set something like this up?

Unfortunately, custom objects > Grant didn’t provide the answer. The custom menu is on the Sales Quotation Line but I cannot see to locate the area to revoke/grant this option.  I only want a selection of employees to have access to this. Please advise.

But when I try to export the report to Excel, I get an error in Excel: Excel Plugin Error: ORA-01841: (full) year must be between -4713 and +9999, and not be 0. Does anyone know how to solve this issue? In our supply chain process, we would like to skip the requisitions. If we have a demand and we run MRP the MRP run should create a planned purchase order or planned shop order instead of a purchase/ shop order requisition. I have tried to change settings on the inventory part by changing the default supply type to order, but this has no result. Am I doing something wrong? And is it possible to skip the requisitions in the process?

hi all,we use IFS 10 and want to put a prefix on new created employees in a specific company.  IFS does automatic numbering, but is that configurable with a prefix (per company) ?

HelloDoes anyone track their Global Location Number in IFS?    I can’t seem to find a place /field for tracking this so just wondering if others are requiring this as well and perhaps I’m just missing it?     Are old ERP system had a form dedicated to its input so find it strange I can’t locate a field for this in IFS under Company or Site . Thank you

What are the capabilities that IFS applications offer that can be identified as ‘Internal Trade’? I know Inter-site setup is one. Inter company is another. What else? can you please elaborate? Thanks in advance.

Could someone tell me where is the Customer Engagement Centre in Apps10?Thank you

Hi,We have a problem with disk space on our middleware server and i have tracked it down to the following filesThese are being created at midnight every night and are currently 17gb in size eachI have a few questions:What are these files doing\storing? How can i amend or restrict their size? Is it safe to just delete them? This has only just started recently within the last 2 weeks, i cant think of any changes we have made apart from upgrade Oracle to 19c.

Hi All, We are experiencing a significant lag when processing accounts payable invoices. The issue is occurring when you RMB and select Posting Proposal. This step used to process very quickly, now it’s taking upwards of 6-10 minutes per invoice. Has anyone experienced this and was able to figure out why it was happening. It seems to be a database issue and we had our IT run a workaround supplied by IFS overnight and it didn’t work. Any help would be appreciated, this is really setting us back in processing invoices!! Thanks,Mike

We have need to calculate the number of hours between 2 dates, minus weekends. We’re using the OrderHistory tab’s rows.I have it working for just the number of days between 2 dates, and then did it for the number of hours (I simply removed TRUNC() around the 2 dates). But that included weekends and now the team wants just business days. I was able find a solution for 2 dates, but it doesn’t include the hours.I’m thinking the solution is to add HH24:MM:SS to the to_date() function but am receiving errors. How do I format to_date() to include hours in the calculation? SELECTSite,OrderNo,status,lag_status,dt,lag_dt,TO_CHAR(to_date(dt,'YYYY/MM/DD'),'DY','nls_date_language=english') as DT_DAY,TO_CHAR(to_date(lag_dt,'YYYY/MM/DD'),'DY','nls_date_language=english') as LAG_DT_DAY, (to_date(dt,'YYYY/MM/DD') - to_date(lag_dt,'YYYY/MM/DD') ) - ((((TRUNC(to_date(dt,'YYYY/MM/DD'),'D'))-(TRUNC(to_date(lag_dt,'YYYY/MM/DD'),'D')))/7)*2) - (CASE WHEN TO_CHAR(to_date(lag_dt,'YYYY/MM/DD'),'DY','nls_date_

Hello, I have noticed an issue with existing Sales Parts and I am unsure of the correct way to apply a % increase to the price. Initially, I assumed I could use the contribution margin on a Sales Quotation to accomplish this, however, if the part is existing in your system, that is calculated automatically. The scenario below outlines the issue I am facing:Existing part number XYZ has a Cost of $4.55 and a Price of $18.35 The system calculated Contribution Margin rate is 75.17% The customer has contacted us and stated they want 255 XYZ parts expedited and they would like to see a quote for this. We would like to add 20% to the price of the part for the expediting.  Our Sales team created a quote and modified the contribution margin. They changed it to 20%, which dramatically lowered the price.Modifying the CM does not appear to be the correct method to markup a price of an existing part in this instance. Is there a function in IFS that would accommodate this scenario? Any help would be

Hi, We have had a number of invoices created in the last couple of months with the incorrect due date, this was due to the reduced number of days in Feb skewing the system calculation which has now been fixed. Would it be possible to do a mass change of due dates of invoices in question. I have ran a debug whilst testing the due date amendment and found as expected that this can only be done when the Invoice is in ‘Preliminary’ status.  Most/if not all of the invoices are in ‘PostedAuth’ status. I am thinking that we could possibly achieve this using RMB > Customer Instalment Plan and DiscountsABSTRACT_PAYMENT_PLAN_API.MODIFY__ Would this work? John

Is there any way to show Yes/No dialog box in a custom event and perform operation based on user’s response?

Within the HANDLING_UNIT_SHIPMENT (Shipment > Handling Unit Structure > Handling Units) there is a field MANUAL_GROSS_WEIGHT and we have created a custom field CF$_MANUAL_NET_WEIGHT The user will enter the Manual Gross Weight and the custom field Manual Net Weight values.    On saving the record we would like the custom event to check the custom field Manual Net Weight value against the Manual Gross Weight and if it is greater than or equal to the Manual Gross Weight then an error message must be displayed:If the Manual Gross Weight already exists and the user only enters the custom field Manual Net Weight then there is no issues.  DECLARE manual_gross_weight_ NUMBER;PRAGMA AUTONOMOUS_TRANSACTION;CURSOR get_data IS SELECT manual_gross_weight FROM HANDLING_UNIT_CFV  WHERE objkey = '&NEW:ROWKEY' ;BEGINOPEN get_data;FETCH get_data INTO manual_gross_weight_;CLOSE get_data;IF  '&NEW:CF$_MANUAL_NET_WEIGHT' >= manual_gross_weight_ THEN Error_SYS.Record_General('HandlingUnitHi
