Hi,I want to add watermark on a report. Even after following steps as per documentation, it is not showing the water mark. Customer is in Apps10.Any idea how can I fix it?Also, is there a way of showing water mark based on a condition? My requirement is to show ‘COPY’ watermark when copy is printed. I want to hide water mark when original document is printed. Can this be achievable?Appreciate your comments.Thank you.

We have a requirement to grant users access to all Business Opportunities but each user should have different access levels. I’m using the CRM Access Filters in Apps 10 to set these users as Admin Users and specify their desired privileges.One user has only Read privilege however, is able to insert and update opportunities. They only get an error about not having Insert or Update privilege when they are connected to an access group. However, the access group is not connected to any filter at all. Am I missing a setup here or misunderstanding the new access functionality?

We are looking for a basic menu and I need to know if we can use the work order management for internal requests. Let me explain.We have in-house a mechanical department which supports the creation/manufacturing of tools flow but also the modification and the repair of them. Those tools are then used for the manufacturing of our inventory parts.Any employee can do such a request of work and we need to manage all these requests on which we need to have dates (created, requested, finished), assigned to, time and operations. So, there is no customer, as customer but this is an internal customer.Is the Service and Maintenance menu appropriate for this kind of request ? or is there anything else which meet the need in IFS ?

Hi, I am trying to change a standard IFS user’s password using Change password option on IEE and running into an issue:   Error message  This works fine if I change IFSAPP’s password but not for any other user granted FND_CONNECT. Has anyone come across this issue before? Do we need to enable any parameters to make Change password work? Version: IFS Apps 10 UPD8   TIA!

Hi, We have a requirement from our client to disable the delete and modify buttons (popup) in the Time Report Screen for the mobile App. We tried to disable the buttons using the design screen but there are no options to control them. Is it possible to disable them or since this is not a standard screen we cannot control its behavior?  Thank you,João Oliveira

We are getting ready for an IFS 10 go-live in October of 2020.  I’m interested in learning what others have done to facilitate Postal Code and Address validation in IFS.  It looks as if IFS requires that States, Counties, Cities, and Countries be set up before Postal Codes can be created.  Is this data entry typically done manually?  Is there an import capability for this relatively static data?  Does IFS have any APIs that facilitate address validation?  Are there recommended 3rd party serices from which to obtain US and international state/county/city/country/zipcode data to import? Thank you for any insight you can provide in how best to approach this task.

We are exploring the use of the service quotation functionality. One of the fields we wish to populate is the ‘Co-ordinator’. I understand we could use templates to set this to a specific value for each base profile. Is there a way we c an use templates, so that when the user creating a service quote creates a new record, the co-ordinator field is populate d with themselves as the co-ordinator.

Hi,We’re currently going through the process of updating our FSM 5.7 environments from Patch 5 to Patch 11.One thing I have noticed is that the password field on person screen now appears NULL even though the masked value is in the database.This is Live 5.7u5 This is UAT 5.7u11 Is this by design? We have a few web based processes now looking up the password field via a hierarchy select to allow that process to act as an post data as the user. Unfortunately when doing the person select even though the password attribute is in the select its not being returned in the response. I have been through the release notes and cannot see anything related to this. I can see new functions being added to the Admin Role (EDITPERSONANY and EDITROLEANY) that’s pretty much all in the notes. Any assistance would be appreciated.  Regards Ady

Hi all,I would like to add the field Coordinator from the Purchase Order header in the menu Project Miscellaneous Parts. I have experience with adding Custom Fields with Implementation Type ‘Reference’ but not with a SQL statement. And since there is no possibility to add the field via a reference, I will need a SQL statement to do so. I tried some things but I was not able to get it right.I would appreciate your help!We are on APPS10 Update 7.  

Does anyone know where the setup is for the RMB/Send Email option in a Supplier Invoice/Posting Proposal (Apps9), please?  I’d like to be able to change the text/add more fields if possible.Thanks 

Hello Techies,I want to upgrade our on premises TAS initially installed for IFS Applications 10 UPD5 to UPD8.what is the best possible and recommended way to upgrade TAS installation? I have tried getting the latest installation package for UPD8 and running the installer but I can not proceed further after entering  database details due to an error  (prepare TAS and all pre deploy database scripts have executed without any errors including necessary permission grants and tablespace creation)TIA!

We are getting performance issues with java.exe taking 99 percent of the CPU on the application server and using 6GB of RAM. Does anybody else see this happening? Should I manage the HEAP differently?

Hi All,When I try to accept the Service Quotation which is created from a PM Work Order (Work Order generated from PM Action) getting an error as ‘It is not possible to modify object for a work order generated from a PM action.’ Any idea? Or is it Service Quotation can’t be used for PM Work Orders?ThanksBhaskara

USD is the only currency used.  Why would I not see this error during proposal or pay order creation?   What does this mean in a one currency configuration?

Hi, I am unable to see List of Values(LoV) for any of the reports I run from IFS Aurena/Order report. I tried one of the the Example BR reports and an Operational Report as shown in below screen shots. Does any one know what is causing this behavior and tell me how to make LoV visible in IFS Aurena?     Thank you!
