We currently have IFS Application 10 Update 8 installed in our environment and we plan on moving from IFS Enterprise Explorer to Aurena in the coming months.  I’ve been playing with the Aurena environment and I haven’t been able to locate the Time Clock terminal within Aurena. Do anyone know if IFS as ported the Time Clock terminal to the Aurena client or do we need to wait until a future IFS Application 10 Update packag? Thank you,William Klotz 

Hi, we have a Work Task Template with Revision Control enabled on it.On the Active revision, IFS correctly restricts the ability to add new lines into Work Task Steps etc., however it allows Work Task Steps to be deleted on the current Active revision.Shouldn’t revision control prevent Work Task Steps from being deleted from an active revision Work Task Template, or is this normal and why?Running Apps 10 Update 6.

We have a Counter lobby element that when we drill-down it is loading all CustomerOrders- not just the ones for the SQL behind this element.The SQL uses an IAL - RW_ORDERS_SHIPPED_TODAY2, which is built on another IAL (RW_ORDERS_SHIPPED_TODAY).I’ve done other lobbies where the drill-down works, so I don’t see what’s different with  this one, unless somehow IALs aren’t recognized? select count(*) from ifsinfo.RW_ORDERS_SHIPPED_TODAY2where contract = 'W'

Hi I am a IFS 10 user on update 8 and when I try to update a Aurena Lobby using the EE Lobby Overview config Mode it doesn’t take effect in the Aurena page. This never used to be a problem in Update 7. Am I missing something or does anyone have any suggestions for me to try? Cheers Jack

Hi, About the training path for FSM Developer, we have training for : Mobile development, Integration, but do we have trainings for technical administrator ?FSM6 can be installed on saas or on premise, if you make a on premise installation you can have some tasks for installing the software. In the training path for partners do we have some courses/documentation about all this required tasks ? Could you explain how partners could be upskill and expand capabilities on this area of installation ? Thanks & Regards 

I’m trying to get media working in our test system on fault reports - LU ActiveSeperate. I have added Media to the Object connections and can see it on the screen but when I drag an image to the record I get the following error message:We have just applied Update 17 to this environment so unsure if this is an update issue or if you can’t use media on fault reports or if I’ve not configured it correctly.Thanks Sarah

Hello, I am looking for a way to prevent our Logistics department from Delivering/Completing a shipment without approval. Currently, we have been experiencing issues with incomplete data being filled out by our shipping clerks. This is leading to post-shipment cleanup transactions. I’ve noticed in Shipment Type, there is an Approve before Delivery checkbox. The help seems to indicate that enabling this will require a shipment to be approved before Delivery can be made. Unfortunately, there is not additional detail on how this approval works. Has anyone used this feature before? If so, how is the approval setup? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! 

Is there a standard integration (either CONNECT or CONNECTIVITY) for the Shipment/Consolidated Shipment? Also, will be good to know is if the extension modules have this integration if not in core.  

Navigation :Financials\Supplier Invoice\Invoice Workflow Basic Data\Invoice Posting Authorizer GroupsFinancials\Supplier Invoice\Posting Proposals For our invoice authorization, we are using Invoice Posting Authorizer Groups linked to our organisations. Those groups can move regularly due to new started, leavers or people changing organizations.Unfortunately, those changes don’t get reproduced automatically in the Posting Proposal/Authorize tab/View Authorizers Group Members. This creates problems as the modified users cannot access the invoices although they should now be allowed. Is there a way in IFS to deal with that problem or does it need a new program to be developped ? Thank you and Kind Regards, Anne-Sophie

In Supply Chain IE version the Customer Credit Control Group is selected in Sales > Customer > Customer > Credit Info > Order tab from the list of values created in the “Customer Order Credit Control Groups“. I am unable to find the corresponding scree in Aurena. I hope some one can help.

Trying to search for all planned start dates that are 14 days old. I can search using >TODAY but cant find out what other functions i could use to search for dates without actually using dates. Can’t use “Yesterday” or “Last Week”   if i do try one of those i get the following value    

Hi All,   We have this unsupported tool (Simple Migration Tool.xlsm) and it works fine except for at one customer. They get the error “Could not unlock memory location. Copy aborted.” when hitting the Export button. Have you seen this error before? Hi all, in FSM 6.5 Has anyone figured out how to create Import Maps for (Global/Metrix) Code Table controlled fields, where the user can import the description vs. the code_value?  We are facing constant issues with users either not understanding that Code Values are needed, or simply not having access to the specific Code Values.    We’ve previously compensated by creating Excel Import map templates, with dropdowns, but keeping those up-to-date with all the global code table values & descriptions is a large effort.   Appreciate allfeedback -Rudy

My company has recently began to develop kits that include several items that are sold individually also. Demand for the kit is not driving down to the components.The kit part number has MS Level 1 forecast demand and customer order demand. Set up as G/30 with SS and Min Lot Size.The items used in the kit also have MS Level 1 forecast demand and customer order demand. Set up as G/30 with SS and Min Lot Size.The kit supply *shop orders* shows as demand on the kit component. The kit supply *shop order requisitions* does NOT. How do I get combined total demand for the kit component that includes all of these:Component MS Level 1 Forecast Component Customer Orders Kit Shop Orders Kit Shop Order Requisitions Thank you!

Anybody had this error on the sync monitor in mWorkOrder? DB_SWITCH_SESSION:Could not switch database proxy session to user [username] Apparently the user’s account got locked prior to sending new transactions to IFS.  Since then we have unlocked the account but we are still getting this error on the user’s sync monitor.  Looking at the Sync Traces, data from IFS to mobile are working, but we have over 200+ queued transactions waiting to be sent from Mobile to IFS.  We have run the query to check if they have the IFSSYS proxy user setup and they do.  Any ideas for this error in mobile?  Idle time on the Oracle profile is unlimited too.
