Hi Is there a way of adding additional information to Application Defined Events?  For instance, could we call an API to retrieve data to be included in the body of the email that is sent. An example scenario, is the Approval Routing events which send emails when approval routing step is approved. The application defined event uses basic information but the business wants the Document title to be displayed instead of Doc No and the Document class description instead of Doc No. We are using Apps 8. Please provide guidance and suggestions how to implement this. Regards Shaun

We will be able to report reverse tax on our supplier invoices. We have created a separate Tax Code for that. Since we need to report both Tax Disbursed and Tax Received I suppose this will be calculated tax.There will not be any tax on the invoice (net amount) but we need to add that on two tax-accounts (disbursed and received) when we post the invoice. Off-course we want this to be an automatic posting on the voucher. Which Posting Control will we need to configure? For example: Supplier InvoicePrice: 1000Reverse Tax is demanded We would like the voucher to look like this:Account 4010: 1000Account: 2617: -250Account: 2647: 250

Looking to create a business rule when a request is deleted. Deleting the request also deletes the associated request event data so once it is gone i cannot retrieve it.i attempted to make a rule that activates both before and after delete but none have been successful

HelloIFS8 -Can anyone assist me with using filter in the page ‘Grant Permission Set to User’, how can get multiple columns (Permissions sets).I tried semi  colon and comma to separate them but that’s not working. which separator should i use to filter my columns.Thanks

Upon scheduling a database task I found the parameter “Check Executing” just above the Start Date, marked with yellow in the picture below. Usually when activating a scheduled task I check the check box “Active” and then consider when to start the schedule (start date). But I found that the parameter “Check Executing” is checked for some scheduled tasks and unchecked for some. In the documentation I can’t find any information about the mentioned check box. Can someone please explain what the parameter does and recommend whether to have it checked or unchecked?   

We applied the July WebLogic corrections to eliminate the critical vulnerability and after that install we have multiple users being disconnected from the application server throughout the day. They receive a message saying that there is a problem connecting to the application server and that the user is not allowed access. It also says that the most likely causes are user is not set to active or user is not granted connect privileges. Has anyone experienced this issue?

Hi,I need to add a custom dropdown for UoM. Is there a way for me to utilize the stock UoM menu option as my enumeration? I searched for ISO_UNIT but I didn’t see it as an option. I don’t think that I can use a reference because it can be different than the inventory part (or sales part or purchased part, etc) uom.Thanks,Mike

On calling the same, an error is thrown saying“Manager Instance Creation Failed : Invalid Component Name Provided”For perform, we have defined proper namespace , component name and Method Name.In web.config we have added following line under <applicationextension><CustomManagerNamespace>**namespace**.***classname**<.CustomManagerNamespace> Any help would be much appreciated !!! Regards,Sachin 

Hi All,We've got a situation at a customer of us.They have import 2 external invoices. One in June this and one recently.It are 2 different suppliers. Both have send a invoice with the same number,When we serach now for a manual supplier invoce we see the following: The re is no invoice series defined for invoices of Type SX Is this a normal behavoir of IFS? Is the single page report in work order included in Apps 10 release 8 or later? I am tasked with evaluating our modifications for uplift to Apps 10 when we upgrade next year. We have a couple of custom fields (created by IFS) in our Single Page Report Work Order in Apps 9. I do not see a comparable report in Apps 10 but I need to confirm.

I added a custom field to a page in Aurena with Page Designer. The field shows on the page in preview mode through Page Designer. I clicked save and publish and exited Page Designer. At this point the custom field was no longer displayed. If I re-enter Page Designer the custom field shows in preview. If I wait an hour or so the custom field will start displaying on the page without needing to be in Page Designer. Is there something I need to run to cause changes in Page Designer to display on the page after clicking save and publish?I am using IFS 10 update 9.

Accoding to current legislation EORI numner will be effect in UK from jan 2021,  DOes anyboby has an idea where we can save the EORI number on customer.  Will IFS be giving any patch for this?  DO we have to use Note or a custom filed? Informtion on EORI number ( according to Gov.uk) -https://www.gov.uk/eori“You need an EORI number to move goods between the UK and non-EU countries.From 1 January 2021 you will need one to move goods between Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales) or the Isle of Man, and the EU.  When you are off line (sync or WiFi turned off) and need to log in again to the FSM mobile client, it doesn’t work if your user is defined to use SSO. Perhaps there is a missing token?Have any of you guys encountered this issue? I haven’t been able to test in an ref environment since as far I as I know none is set up to use SSO. Customer is on FSM6 Update 4.

How to extract the App parameter values from the FSM Application.?I need to extract all the  App parameters and its values from the FSM Application. Kindly need you support. 

Hi AllWe are on IFS9.We had applied Update 17 to our test environment back in March/April. We recently refreshed Test with a backup of the Live database. Now we were hit with something I haven't seen since our earlier versions of IFS. We now have a mismatch between the Application and the database. e.g. wrong number of arguments... (yes, I should have spotted this, but furlough etc...)Obviously the middleware is at Up17 and the database as per live is Up16.Can I run the Update patch against the database only?? by checking only the option ‘Deploy database files’? Has anyone else had to do this? We used to see similar issues back when we ran executables, and often a user would be using the same executables for both Live and Test, of which were often at different patch levels.Surprisingly we have not hit this issue for years, i think because we would normally test the Update, and apply to Live fairly quickly afterwards. With Furlough etc, we have not kept up with this.Any advice would be

Hi,I know there is a minimum stock value on the Inventory Part, this is the Safety Stock. But is there also a maximum stock? A simple example:When the inventory quantity of a part in stock is zero, and the maximum stock is 10. IFS should suggest a Purchase Requisition after MRP with a qty of 10 pieces.

Has anyone used a view other than External_Invent_Part_Issue_Pub or Internal_Invent_Part_Issue_Pub to define a Base Flow. We would like to use something like CUSTOMER_ORDER_JOIN_CFV to utilize some custom fields. To date I have not managed to use any view other than those suggested in the Base Flow wizard. Any comments most welcome.
