Could someone kindly assist me with the below questions of a customer. They have been in APPS7,5 before and now are in APPS9.

“ #1 Does Apps9 German Central Bank Reporting replace the German Localization GDPdU?
(Please be explicit of all delimitations, and advise whether or not German Localization GDPdU exists for the Apps9 Track).

#2 Where do I find instructions in the Online Documentation to configure and execute the IFS Connect Outbound Routing Rules German Z4 Proposal and German Z5 Proposal?
(German Localization GDPdU output 3 files of type DAT, XML and DTD) ”

Hi @Chathurika Wijeratne

Kindly refer the below answers for the two points raised,

  1. When it comes to GDPdU and Central Bank reporting it is two different functionalities. Whereas GDPdU is related Audit Interface functionality used by German customers and it’s a part of core functionality now where as previously it was included in VAPDE.

In VAPDE there is option to GDPdU Export (Tax Auditing) with Predefined views for export. This has now facilitated in core environmnet and you can define the audit format basic data related and run the audit interface.

  1. Z4 Proposal and German Z5 Proposals are related to German Central Bank Reporting

German Central Bank report of type Z4. When the proposal is acknowledged, you can create an XML file to be uploaded to the ExtraNet of the German Central Bank.

German Central Bank report of type Z5A-2. If the proposal is acknowledged, you can create an XML file to be uploaded to the ExtraNet of the German Central Bank. Where applicable a text file can be created in addition to the XML file.

If you checked the routing rules in Core environmnet in outbound routing rules if you click on the details you can see the information that has been already set up.
