We are using V14.5

The summary page for a Service Order on Mobile optionally can include Travel Expenses (MOE-10292) and then will show the duration, which we want to see but also the cost value, which we do not want to show.

It is not possible to modify what is shown in Mobile Customizer as this whole section is just one select, so is there any way we can show the travel expense Durations but without showing the monetary values?

I know I could probably set travel to zero in SA Types, so this would show as zero but we do want to measure this cost, so that’s not a good option.  We just don’t want to show these costs to the customer on the summary page.

To be clear so I understand the question, you do not want to show the PRICES (I don’t believe COSTS are shown which is your cost) but only the duration of the travel on the summary report on the mobile client with the customer before they provide their signature? 

What about the summary report mailed to the customer?  Are you customizing that to also remove the prices too?

There are other expenses too which could have been added to the service order too not directly related to travel, do they need to be restricted view as well?  My concern is this may turn into a customization to not supply the costs (Prices) for travel only but still display costs (Prices) for another other expenses (e.g. Hotel, meals, etc.)

Perhaps you should discuss with the business consultant normally working with your project?

 

 


Hi Chris,

Try removing the Total Cost line in the Expense Preview (orderPreview.expenses.tmpl) screen in the Mobile Customizer application...you can do this by dragging and dropping the total cost field to the Trash Can icon, then hit Save and test the customizer URL prior to publishing:
