We are needing to change the price that we invoice for on consignment items as our pricing fluctuates each month. The scenario is: We send 100 consignment parts to the customer on May 15th - These were against a customer order and price of $1.00 each. The customer consumes them on June 15th - The new price for their item in June is $1.10 When we invoice them, it is going against the original customer order at time of shipment ($1.00 each) We tried updating the customer order pricing before consuming out of consignment but it still pulls the pricing at time of shipment  Anyone else doing this and any ideas on how to handle?

Hello community,I have created a workflow from scratch for importing currency rates from different sources based on the company. This is the workflowWorkflow details I added projection actions to my workflow  When i validate the workflow it works. When I manually use update currency rates button with start now, the rates are created. But scheduled DB task is not creating currency rates although the background job is triggered successfully.Any idea?ThanksFurkan

Hi Team,Several orders on demand site are stuck in status released while the intercompany order has already been delivered, once the intercompany order lines is closed, matching demand order line should also get close with invoice. While checking the incoming delivery notifications screen, we are receiving below error message:“Inventory transactionHist. TRABASINVREV: Part number XXX on site XYX is currently locked for the transaction based invoice revaluation process”I can manually close the orders but want to know why it is happening and what is the root cause of it.Request your suggestions. 

Dear all,we are running IFS Cloud 21R2 as remote installation. Our IFS DB is growing and big portion of the volume are document attachments, therefore we would like to move them to a file storage service. We see “File Storage” option in document management repository, but we would like to confirmwhat “File Storage” services this option is supported with on remote installation, is it Azure File Storage or Azure Blob Storage or both? are there any prerequisites to make “File Storage” option working with Remote Installation?   can you pls. extend IFS documentation with more detailed information regarding the usage of “File Storage” and what storage services are exactly supported with remote installation of IFS Cloud? can you pls. extend IFS technical documentation with a configuration guide for the file storage repository?  is there any plan to support other file storage services with next releases of IFS Cloud?  Thanks Jan

Hello,I built a web page to read some data from IFS (plsql calls with ODBC)I need to add external links on IFS pages as Sales Part for exemple.I need to pass two parameters into the URL.One of those is the user language, available in client variable in events as ##USER_LANGUAGE##My problem is I can not chose the parameter in the parameter list, it doesn’t show.I also tried to set the parameter directly in URL using events syntax :- lang=#USER_LANGUAGE##​​​​- lang=${USER_LANGUAGE}- lang=${#USER_LANGUAGE#}I already had the same issue for the user id and I created a custom field which reads the user id throught PLSQL function, which is not a good way to achieve it on my opinion.Do you know another way to achieve this ?Thank you

This is a 2 part question related to Alliance - replenishment orders.When creating a replenishment order with the supply from Vendors option selected, the default vendor in Product Center - Partners - Vendors is always selected. Is there any way to set a non-primary for the Replenishment order line? Second question is if we were to put a Process Flow in place to adjust the From Vendor on the line to be a different vendor what would that API message look like, is there a macro that can be used to retrieve the replenishment order line and update that column value?  

Hi,We are currently working on upgrading IFS 10 UPD 22 Application to IFS Cloud 24R1 version.In IFS 10, Application Message(s) is heavily utilized to monitor  both inbound and outbound bizAPI integration messages. The failed messages can be reprocessed if required.Eg: If an integration message has failed due to missing basic data in IFS (Eg: Currency), we usually set up the basic data and rerun the failed messages in Application messages window. Is there any feature in IFS Cloud to monitor and reprocess the inbound Rest API integration requests other than referring logs? ThanksThilochana

Hello everyone, i have a question.Is it possible to change the default template selected when printing work copy of a customer invoice?Currently when printing the layout is set to Time and Material and we want it to be fixed price.Also, if possible, could this be defined per user or its a general configuration?I just want to confirm or deny the possibility of doing this but i haven’t seen any topic related to it in the forum. 

Hello Folks,I have run in to an issue (in IFS Cloud 23R1) with connecting a Project to a Sales Contract, where system returns an error indicating that this Project is already connected to a different Sales Contract. Which is true as I have already connected this Project to a Sales Contract that is sitting in ‘Cancelled’ status.Moreover, I have the “PUB(Project Unique Billing Toggle)” turned ON in the Project Setup Parameters for this Project.​​​I tried to remove the Project connection from the ‘Cancelled’ sales contract but system throws in an error preventing me from doing that.  Thereafter I toggled off the “PUB(Project Unique Billing Toggle)” since ideally that should take out any restrictions on one Project can go on one sales contract validation.  Then I created a brand new Sales Contract (3rd one, 1st once is already “Cancelled”, 2nd one “Proj. connection failed” with an error as seen on first screenshot) since I thought 2nd Sales Contract was created while I had the “PUB(Project

Hello Community, I hope you are all doing well. I am currently working on an Event Action that sends an email and would like to include a report—specifically the "NCR Report"—as an attachment. I have already configured the logic for the Event Action, but I need to automate the generation of the report so it gets archived in the Archive Report page, thereby creating a Result Key. fyi. I do not need to generate the email attachment via PDF_REPORT_CREATED , because I need to generate the report via code to be able to archive or create the Result Key.My main question is: how can I programmatically generate this report and have it archived in the Archive Report page to obtain the Result Key? Are there any code examples or APIs I can use for this purpose?Additionally, I’m trying to trace the internal calls in IFS Cloud 24R2 but haven’t been able to identify the specific API responsible for this. I’ve tried using the inspection tools, but the report execution doesn’t seem to show a clear API

Hello, In IFS Cloud, is there a way to pre-populate the next system-generated Person ID on the New Employee wizard? From my understanding, you can use workflows to pre-populate fields and was going to see if that could do what I need. The ultimate goal with filling that field is so we won’t have to fill that field when creating a new employee based off a new person employment.  I was trying to see if this can be done via workflow or would this have to be a customization? Hello everyone,On the “Recurring Service Programs” page, there is a selector sorted by the Start Time (custom attribute) field. When the start time of an entry is changed, the entry remains in its original position rather than being automatically re-sorted. It only appears in the correct position after the page is manually refreshed.Is this the expected behavior, or is there a way to trigger automatic sorting without a manualrefresh? Thank you in advance!

Hello everyone,Our customer would like the “Show Associated Notes” option in the Service Notes tab of the Request screen to be enabled by default, so that they don’t have to manually check the box each time.I wasn’t able to configure this in the Page Designer — does anyone have an idea on how this could be achieved, or is it simply not possible within the current setup? Thank you!

In 22R1 there is a new concept introduced to identify equipment object, key will be “Equipment Object Sequence”. Object can be moved from one site to another, also to another company. What appears to be not possible is to change Object ID. I am currently in project where the Object ID itself tells in which process facility etc. the object is located and therefore they are constantly (in their legacy system) changing the Object Identification. The object ID could change from e.g. 10-22-45-67-11 => 10-22-44-67-11. There is of course a unique ID in the background, similar to Equipment Object Sequence.  Once we now have a new key, Equipment Object Sequence, does it make easier or even practically possible to make modification that would allow to change the Object ID?  Is that kind of functionality in the requirements backlog? Viewing the location in functional hierarchy in equipment object navigator has been proposed, but the problem is that it does not show the parent structure of give

Hello, When I try to enter a broken number in the Qty per assembly field, it is not accepting rounded numbers.In the example, I try to enter a value of 2.8 kg, when I press the tab key it automatically changes to 28 kg, ignoring the decimal place.Has anyone seen this before?

Hi, I'm using IFS Cloud version 22.2.2.Does anyone use the capabilities of IFS for data exchange using HTTP SOAP or HTTP REST?I received a communication certificate from the service provider, which allows me to access their service. I installed the certificate in Windows as Personal. With the certificate, I can open the service page (fictional address) https://connect.xxxxxx.com/xxxx-cdc/cdc00101?wsdl with the service directory. The page doesn't open without the certificate. I'm doing the same in IFS. I defined the Routing address as REST with the endpoint https://connect.xxxxxx.com/xxxx-cdc/cdc00101?wsdl. I pasted the key into the Keystore. I placed a reference to the key in the Additional Headers of the Routing address. ssl:KeyStoreId = xxxxxxx and ssl:KeyStorePwd = xxxxxxxx. The key's password is the same as the Keystore's. Authentication Method: None. (Other Routing addresses with a REST definition pointing to the https page are working, and the page data is displayed.)The service

Hi Team, I have a Customer that is replenishing Remote Warehouses with Shipment Orders. IPAP is showing an offsetting Supply and Demand, as shown below.  Ideally, we would like to run MRP and then see a Shop Order/Purchase Order created, but MRP is not creating any supply.  How do you make a Remote WH create Demand on the Site that MRP can see??Notice below, the Shipment Order Demand of “15”, The Available and On Hand Qty is “0”, ideally this would create a Shop Req.  

We have an issue where a shop order with an outside operation has a requisition that has been converted to a purchase order BUT the PO has been cancelled. Even though the PO is cancelled, IFS won’t generate another requisition for this outside operation step. Ship WIP to Supplier is Visible because we’ve reversed the Ship WIP. Purchase requisition is still the cancelled PO.Line in status “PO Created”PO CancelledMRP won't generate another requisition for this order. I just ran it and did a search for my order ref 1 and this is the only requisition that shows up. The only way I can see to fix this is to uncancel the order in the DB.

I have used the Absence section to view absences within a rang, but employees that have overlapping dates will not be shown.  Example, if an employee (Barry) is off from the 26th of April to the 7th of June, if I run a report in May for employees that are absent in May, Barry will not be shown as their absence started in April and ends in June.  Is there a way to see Absences for employees that are absent for today (the day the request was ran) or absent in the region that I selected (regardless of their start date but the fact that they have a absence in that period)? 

When we have a lot shop order pick lists to do picking and delivery of material to shop floor, we were used to prioritize shop order picking to warehouse using column “Operation Start Date” from “Shop Order Pick Lists” page in Apps 10, since we reserve and create shop order picking list by operations to deliver material to shop floor in same order that our processes need to be assembled. For instance.Operation 100 Shop Order Start Date 2025-05-02Operation 110 Shop Order Start Date 2025-05-15Operation 120 Shop Order Start Date 2025-05-30But since we moved it to IFS Cloud, that column is missing.  Is there any other way to warehouse staff can prioritize shop order picking sorting by oldest to newest Operation Start Date  in IFS Cloud to support and see where to focus?If not, it would be great have that column “Operation Start Date” back to IFS Cloud. We really appreciate your inputs.

Hi Experts,I'm currently making a REST call to a third-party system using the IFS Custom Event action type "REST Call" to create a new customer. The payload is simple: { "CustomerId": "&NEW:CUSTOMER_ID", "Name": "&NEW:NAME" }This works fine for sending data. However, I need to capture the response from this call—specifically when the customer creation fails, it should log that error into a custom table/custom LU in IFS. Although I can view the response in the Application Messages, I think querying those messages and updating the custom Logical Unit (LU) might not be reliable when multiple requests are being processed concurrently.I'm considering using the PLSQL_REST_SENDER_API in the event action (with type ‘Execute Online SQL’) to make the call synchronously, so I can capture the response directly and log any errors immediately into the custom LU.Could anyone provide guidance or an example of how to use PLSQL_REST_SENDER_API for a synchronous REST call and handle the response?

Hi, I am trying to bulk migrate data using IFS Excel Add-in - 23.1.8 and every time I use Search to extract data into the Web Excel spreadsheet, it loads thousands of the same entry (see picture). Now I have used the add-in in the past and it works. I believe it is only happing to this specific migration job, more specifically the page (or view). I have tried creating new migration jobs with the same Page and I stumble across the same issue every time. I created this entry in IFS, there are thousands of the same entry appearing here.Here is the migration job details: Yes, I also have custom field values (CFV) being utilized. Thank you.
