Hi All, We are doing an XML integration to create customer orders via incoming customer orders in cloud 24R1. My question is, our customer is using different types of  Order Types to create customer orders.  Is there a standard method to add the Order Type to incoming customer orders as well because there is no Order Type filed in Incoming Customer Order record? Thank You.

Hi All,When employees are applying for absences, it is mandatory to attach a supporting/proof document for the absence type of Medical Leaves. For the other absence types, it is not mandatory. Do we have any standard core functionality in IFS cloud to make attachments are mandatory for specific absence types when absence registration.Regards,MalinG.

Problem:There is a setting in Company\Invoice\General called “Based discount on Gross amount” meaning that the payment discount is either calculated over the Gross amount (ON) or over the invoice amount ex. tax (OFF). However, this applies to both customer invoices as well as supplier invoices. Currently we have the situation where we have some suppliers calculating the payment discount over the invoice Gross amount and some which calculate it over Nett invoice amount. Needless to say this should be a setting on the payment terms, not a single setting set for an entire company.  Does anyone else have issues with this?

Hi, This is regarding the Swedish Rule for reporting VAT on Foreign Currency invoices of Swedish Suppliers. Would like to know your ideas on the best possible way to handle this. The customer receives the VAT amount in Domestic currency from the Supplier and that amount must be used by the customer for VAT reporting. For example: for a EUR ccy invoice, supplier sends the VAT in SEK amount as well. The customer only calculates the Gross Amount in SEK using the rates in IFS. However, the customer does not know which date the Supplier used to arrive at the VAT in SEK when they send the preliminary invoice. Iam trying to create an event or even an api call would be fine for when a background job finishes.  Specifically "Create Pick List for Customer Order".  Our goal is to have the associated order’s PCKNOTE document text updated after the shipment is created from the background job.  I have a custom api call that updates it when I test from SQL but I can’t figure out how to get the event to trigger.  We tried when a new record is inserted into the FRT_SHIPPING_INFO_TAB table.

We have an audit requirement which requires to report the last login date and time for a user in IFS. In APPS8 we could get this information from the SERVER_LOG_TAB using the log category “IFS Sessions’. However, IFS cloud does not have this category as a server log parameter.There are some details in the IAM_LOGIN_EVENT_DETAIL_TAB but seems like it does not keep the long-term history of sessions.Can you advise how to get this data recorded and retrieved on demand?

Dear Experts,We have developed a custom APIs to post transaction data (both header and line-level structures). These APIs have been tested successfully in DEV, TEST, and UAT environments without any issues.Recently, we cloned the UAT environment into a new environment (UAT2). However, in UAT2 the same custom integration fails with the following error:ORA-22813: operand value exceeds system limits The response is always 500 Internal Server Error.We already tried the following: Tested with the original payload (works fine in other environments). Sent a blank/empty JSON payload → still fails with the same error. Verified that standard IFS APIs with POST methods are working fine in UAT2. The problem seems to occur only with the custom API in UAT2. Since the environments are cloned, we expected the behavior to be identical.What could be the possible cause of this error in the cloned environment (UAT2), and what areas should we check (DB settings, CLOB handling, API configuration, etc.

We need a standard way to record additional attributes/details at the lot level (i.e., information tied to a specific Lot/Batch No, not to the part master).Questions: Does Apps 8 provide any lot-level fields (standard or user-defined) to store extra information on a lot? If so, which screen/table should we use (e.g., Lot/Batch Master, related info tabs, user-defined fields, notes, etc.)? If not, what’s the recommended approach to maintain lot-specific metadata (e.g., configuration, enabling custom fields, using Handling Units, or another object)? Any guidance or configuration pointers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi All, Imagine the following data setup and scenario. Demand Site - Site ASupply Site - Site BInternal PO X is created on Site A and sent through to Site B where the internal CO Y is created and processed. The pegging is correctly shown. However, even before Y is delivered, PO X on Site A is available in Register Arrival on Site A and can be receipted while CO Y is in a status prior to Delivered. The expectation is that PO X should only be able to be receipted once CO Y is processed through to Delivered. Am I missing a setting here or does IFS have a different rationale behind this?  Thanks in advance!

I created a new report template (FULL_INSPECTION_REPORT_GROUPED_4) to generate this merged report.When triggering the report generation from the WebClient, I receive the following message:"Report FULL_INSPECTION_REPORT_GROUPED_4 is being generated asynchronously."However, I never receive a follow-up notification or download link. The report doesn't appear in the downloads, and I can’t retrieve it from anywhere else either.Has anyone faced a similar issue with asynchronous report generation? Any guidance on how to debug or force the download (e.g., check report queue, logs, or configurations) would be greatly appreciated.Thanks in advance!

Cannot explain myself around a behaviour in purchase order authorisation. Below is how my auth rule is setup. Note the ‘Use Delta Amounts for Auth’ is set to Yes. Now, my PO is initially a placeholder for total of 0.01 value. Then a POCO is created to add another line with a value of 120,000.An authorisation is expected on this POCO, however is not fetched when the Delta Amt for Authorisation is set to yes. In my pov, there is a clear delta amt which is within the range of the auth rule. When the Delta Amt check is set to no, the auth rule is fetched. System - IFS Cloud 23.1.3
