Average issues per period question

All, 

I am having trouble understanding how IFS comes up with the average issues over a period. Our periods are set by month. I’m attempting to view the average issues and receipts for period 1 of 2023 (January). IFS indicates I’ve done a qty of 1219 in that period. However, reviewing inventory transaction history, I am only seeing 1170. Is there another location in IFS that also determines issued qtys? The help doesn’t seem to indicate any specific location or even the transactions it considers to be issues (Counts, Shipments, etc.). any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
