Environment: App8 IEE Steps followed:1. Navigate to 'Receive Shop Order' Window.2. Search for an Order.3. In the 'HU Handling' section set 'Qty To Report' as ‘1’.4. Save the Order.5. After saving the order, it takes around 120 seconds to save the record.6. Normally it takes around 4 - 5 seconds for this execution. Outcome: In the 'HU Handling' section set 'Qty To Report' as ‘1’ and Save the Order. It takes around 120 seconds for the execution in Customer’s Production Environment.

Community, Have you seen this message ? This error message prompted when we are doing engineering part transferring to manufacturing site. Prior to this revision, we already have 2 engineering revisions transferred.Question, why this error message? we found we could avoid this error by switch on checkbox Allow as Not Consumed in Part window, but, is this the right way to handle this error?kindly advise.Thank you.

Hi @majose and others!We have been trying to figure out a way to "freeze" a std cost for sub-assembly when calculating a new parent part, but haven’t been successful. I have also searched the community for similar questions without result.It would be very valuable for us to find out if there is a way to achieve this, or if not, if it is in the IFS future roadmap to look into the possibility. Since IFS Idea Wall vanished I haven’t seen a new place to register ideas for future enhancements, but perhaps one exists?Scenario is as follows:Part A: Sub-Assembly with material & operation cost, Std cost is calculated and defined for the period (year) 31 Dec. In February, the routing is changed but std cost is not updated as that shall be valid for the whole year.In Mars, a new Part B is released and contains part APart B has material & operat

When receiving a by product of repair type shop order we don't need to issue any material and can be received the by product after releasing the shop order. Is this the standard behavior or any reason for this?

Is it possible to create supplier wise Product Structure Alternates? As i sent different component to different supplier for outsourcing job work, for the same parent part.

Hi, We face a strange issue. On the Purchase Order Line the Revision No = 5: On the Receipt goods the Revision is 4: Is it possible to find out what the cause for the above is? I’ve looked on Purchase Order Changes for PO 11049113 in SQL Query. It seems no changes has been made on this PO:  How can this be investigated? BrChristian

Hey guys, My first post here so please let me know if I’ve posted in the wrong thread or missed any information required to explain my issue in greater detail. When running MRP, you have a dialog box that has the option to run CRP alongside in a tick box, I tick this but the data seems to be missing from CRP, or it doesn’t actually run possibly?We have to wait until the system automatically runs CRP overnight until we can see any changes made in MRP, reflected in CRP. Is there any way around this, other than just having to wait it out? Kind regards,Martin.

Hello TeamI apply a certain Template ID to one item code per process and change status to “Active”, but when go back to check “Template-where used”, I can find nothing, and go to that item code’s control plan, the “Template ID” is empty as well. Is there any step being missed, or any other setting need to do? can someone help to pick up and have feedback. ThanksSusan  

We have an inventory of a manufactured part, Part A.  We sell this part as Part A at one price and as part B at a different price (not sure why but...).Can this be accomplished with versioning or some kind of “also known as” part number?The inventory cost and reporting would be for Part A.Essentially, we want to sell the goods so that both Part A and the AKA Part B pull from the same inventory, just different sales prices. 

Hi IFS Community!In Inventory Part In Stock it is not possible to move a part to a new location which contain the same part with a later expiration date. See below images.The error code is ‘Expiration date may not be later than from-locations exp.date.’.Is it possible with standard IFS to ‘exclude’ this rule? Maybe on a warehouse or location level set a parameter where expiration date is equal to location?Thanks!Br  

Hi,When a Repair shop order (Internal repair) or purchase order (External repair) was created through a Disposition shop order in MRO process, this repair shop order will be connected to assembly side of the MRO interim order structureRecently observed that some of the repair shop orders were not connected as above explainedWhen I check the MRO interim order it is in released state parent interim order number also available (where it should be connected to the structure). However, these interim orders were not connected to assembly tree structureI checked if there are any records in the Disconnected Repair Orders tab, but I could not find any records of above explained RSOs, which means they were not disconnected manuallyWhen this issue was investigated technically, we identified MRO interim order data was deleted from backend table while manually disconnected RSO data was still available Any reason why this occurs Thank

In project connection screen,  the system connection checkbox is not checked for a purchase order.  Is there a way to toggle that as a system connection?

Why does GL Balance Analysis always not matching Shop Order Work in Progress Report?

We have a customer on 22R1 UPD6 who has purchased the shop order module, but not QUAMAN.If they go to the Shop order operations page for planned shop orders, they can invoke the command  menu Operation Split/Split and the dialog pops up.But when they go to the Shop order page/Operations tab and Operations List, the command Operation Split/Split dialog does not popup.Is it a necessity to install QUAMAN to be able to use Operation Split/Split from the Shop order page/Operations tab and if it is not installed, is it expected functionality for the Operation Split/Split not to display the Shop order split assistant? 

Is there a possibility to send emails to users directly from IFS? Not automated emails but sent manually. Preferably also with the possibility to target users with specific user roles in the system.

Hi, We use Employee mode as shop floor reporting setting, and the shop floor workbench.We created a dummy users, which acts as a workcenter. That way, when the operator goes to the PC connected to the workcenter, he immediatly sees which operations can be performed. We connected the filter to the dummy user.However, when we then use the ‘Identify’ button to let IFS know which operator is working, the filter is lost and needs to be choosen manually again. We tried to set the correct one as a favorite so it’s on top if the list, but we still need to select it.Is there a solution for this?We want that on the screen attached to the workcenter, only the operation planned on that workcenter are visible. The operator should easily identify himself, select the operation and start it.

In the screen “inventory part”, we have a field “cumulated counting difference”; is it possible to have it per period? Or reset it every year?
