How do you move shop orders within a schedule? We do not use production schedules, but we may need to move shop orders up and down for start/stop dates.
Also, how does a shop floor operator know which shop order he/she should be working on next?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. We are using the IFS Cloud.

Shop orders can be scheduled finite using the Advanced Planning Board (APB), or infinite using Visual Planning. Booth tools supports drag-and-drop and sequencing based on characteristics (like scheduling all operations with a specific color after each other)
The operators can use Shop Floor Workbench that shows a dispatch list of the operations the operator should work on. Depending on the filter used, operations can be sorted using different dispatch rules where “As Scheduled” is the default (I.e. operations are worked on in the same order as they where scheduled)

Yes it is possible to create and schedule operations blocks from both manufacturing visualizer (IEE client) and Visual Planning (Aurena).
Select the required operations from the Gantt chart and click Connect to Operation Block. Then in the assistant you can select to also schedule the block
You can also color the operations in the Gantt by Operation Block. And if you select an operation which belongs to an operation block, you can directly choose to reschedule the block.

Hi All
Can anyone provide some insight into how the schedules from HR could be linked to the Advanced planning board ? if this is not possible how do you see when the resource is available?
