If we schedule a “Create pick list for shop orders” when we want to pick the materials as per operation start date; like few days before operation start date, due to the constrained stock. The reservation is going to performed on the entire shop order instead of operation material only if I put shop order start date as the Days before start date instead of operation start date in the ‘Shop Order Auto Process Type’, Process Event ‘Reserve Shop Order’ before setting up the “picking, reservation”.Is there any workaround?Any suggestions are highly appreciated.

Hello everyone.  I have been slowly getting Lobbys created for the maintenance guy.  I am trying to put the Company Logo on the back ground of the Lobby.  Having mixed results. When i copy the URL in the box and lock the lobby back it produces the picture  but it is multiplied and shows the picture in different layouts.  I have tried modifying the URL, Saving  the Logo in different formats yet it continues to do the same thing or nothing at all.  Here is a example of what i am seeing   And here is the URL i am using.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  I asked this question on the main group  and i got a answer but don’t understand where they are wanting me to look.  

I create a customer order and I connect with a shipment at order release but when i deliver just two shipment order lines of four i can’t. I already reserved the shipment lines or maybe there is something that I forget. If somebody can help me with any idea, I will appreciate it. 

Hi,I hope someone can help.I’ve created a SQL Expression in Crystal Reports to select the BLOB field (FILE_DATA column) from the edm_file_storage view, however, when I include the field and refresh the report, Crystal crashes. I changed the statement to select a different column within the view and the report ran fine.Could anyone suggest why Crystal would crash when selecting in the ‘BLOB’ field, from the FILE_DATA column?

Community, I have a part is not HU controlled in inventory, inventory UOM is PCS. when parts arrived from supplier, I will let IFS to pack it as 100PCS/pack, and do the putaway. I would like system to perform like what it is dealing with HU, i.e. limit the parts per bin, e.g. 100PCS/Bin, but it looks to me, it is hard to handle it in this way without HU. Just want to borrow your mind. Thank you.

How to add custom field "Supplier" in Lot batch master

Hi,My current placement has a library of images associated to parts. It was initially thought all images were to be .jpeg which would be easy enough to insert into a Crystal report using the “(BLOB)” field. However, it has now been decided that all part images will be .pdf file format. Is it possible to attached a .pdf file and view as per a .jpeg in a Crystal report?Regards,Ben

I am working with a client with a multi-site setup.  They would like to copy parts from their main manufacturing site to their distribution sites in an ad-hoc manner.   They would like to use the Copy Part function as a starting point.  When doing so, however, to the inventory part in the “To” site is set to revision 1.  Is there a way to transfer over the revision history from the “From” record to the “To” record automatically?  If not corrected manually, the intersite distribution falls apart due to the revision level mis-match. I appreciate any help you could provide.  

How to setup a regular export from one of my favorites? (Scheduled Tasks?) Take existing browse (customers’ orders, inventory parts in stock, shop orders, shop floor reporting, etc.)   E.g. Inventory parts in stock export to csv excel file with certain file name onto the network storage drive (T) x 3 per day at 8am, 12noon and 5pm. (overwrite the same file name)

We are preparing Basic Data for the maintenance module (Equipment Object, PM and Work Order), our company is located in multi countries,Example, Object Type: “Tube Bender”, but spanish team call “Dobladora de tubo”...and Russian, Chinese….Knowing our local maintenance teams working daily with the application to follow PM and Work Orders, they will need to have those basic Data in their local language. Is it possible to have Basic Data setup in different languages? i can observed that it is not possible to Right Click and Translate.Thanks for your support

In IFS Apps 10 Update 11 Aurena, we have found the following issue on the Product Structure screen (Engineering > Structure > Product Structure > Product Structure) (Issue # 2)When we click on the magnifying glass to open the search tool and perform a search, a small yellow circle is shown next to the magnifying glass icon. This is intended to show the quantity of records found matching the specified search criteria, but it shows the wrong number. (e.g., in an environment we entered "500-Z" in the part field (i.e. we searched for structures for part numbers starting with 500-Z). This search returned 2 results (visible in the tail record selector) but the number next to the magnifying glass shows 1.

Hi All,We are facing issue related getting Machine Cost in Shop Orders. The work centers used in the Shop Orders does not contain any work center cost and it is zero. But, somehow shop order is estimated with a Machine Cost and Actual Cost also contain machine cost. We use WAC for parts.Does any one know how Shop Order gets some Machine Cost even though zero cost is defined in the Work Center ?Thanks

In MCPR flow an invoice needed to be credited in customer company and reinvoiced due to the invoice address and value needing to be amended. Subsequently, we cannot transfer to the general ledger after following the normal steps and no errors are on these transactions. Any Idea on this behavior?

Hi,Using “Visualize Selected Orders” works fine in shop orders planning. But using “Visualize Filtered Orders” never returns the visual planning, even if the source recors are the same. Please see attached video for further details.

Hi,Obstructive maintenance load is hereunder displayed entirely in “Machine Operations Scheduling” area, but not in column chart “Machine Load” when no manufacturing load is scheduled.An obstructive work task of 24 hours is scheduled hereunder Only 9 hours are displayed in machine load on 02/09/2021, and the remaining 15 hours are not on 01/09/2021From a business perspective, I won’t reschedule anything on 01/09/2021 on PR250 because the machine is in maintenance. The workload should be displayed in any circumstances then, whether manufacturing load is scheduled the same day. The problem was first reported in LCS case G2156460 (Machine obstructive time not correctly reflected in manufacturing visualizer) related to manufacturing visualizer in IFS Applications 10 IEE client.Detailed explanations received from Saman are reminded in attachment. I thought all problems described in the case would have been solved in IFS Cloud, but it seems not to be.@Saman K Could you explore this feedback

We are desiring to setup multi site planning with 2 sites and use distribution orders to generate supply/demand between the sites. When I run MRP I am failing to generate any distribution orders. Does a guide/instruction manual exist outside of the online help to ensure we are setting everything up correctly? 

Hi, using Apps 10 and i am having an issue with scheduling operations within a work centre.we have individual work centres and labour classes for each 4 operation within a routing and only 1 person in each of the labour classes.the schedule capacity on each of the work centres and labour classes (and individuals within the labour classes) are set to finite in order for MRP to see the constraint when scheduling.How even MRP is run it schedules operations to start before the previous operation has finished which is physically impossible. (see below)​​​​​   On the inventory part there is also a 1 day order gap to try and stager the shop orders being released.why is MRP ignoring the constraints of the work centres and labour classes or am i doing something wrong?regardsJamie

In connecting a sales contract to a project, Add Project Activities to Contract Line Item functionality, one prerequisite is that Only activities that have not already been connected to a line item within that contract can be addedIs there a specific reason for this? Can’t it be done the same way that more than one activities can be connected to an item by giving each a weight? TIA

Hi IFS Community,I have probably found a bug while testing Project Deliverables options, that I would rated as a significant (or critical). Please, find a description of the procedure, that I have done:1) Reservation of components through the Shop Order Plan, from Project Inventory (stock).2) Change the Supply Option of Purchase component to Supply Option = null (permitted option/value).Result of this procedure: Information about reservation in the Project Deliverables object will completely disappear, e.g. Reserved Quantity = null; in the Material tab --> Material Plans --> RMB/Reserved Materials... (no rows displayed). BUT, the "unreserve" procedure is not called, so if you check object Inventory Part in Stock, so the rows of components are still reserved and On Hand Qty = Reserved Qty (in case of 1pcs).Unfortunately, I have not found any workaround to un-reserve these lines from this object, let me know if you can do it.

Does anyone know of a good way to print/save drawings attached to a Structure within IFS? We need to print/save all the drawings at the different levels of the structure. Right now it is done one by one.  Thoughts?
