we have a azure app registration for our astea production webservices. Our azure app certificate/secret is coming up for expiring. I cant remember if we need the secret to be installed on the application side. I know that we needed the application ID and Tenant ID, but sure if renewing the certificate/secret is needed

We are trying to change the primary address reference for customer records by pointing towards an existing address id. We also want to delete the defunct address id reference against the customer. We are able to create a new record pointing to an existing address id, and make it primary. What we are having trouble with is deleting the old record. Hi , when a new service order is created (Manually)is there a way to set a default contact on all sites for a perticular cusrtome ? eg : when a new service order for sitecode ‘’abc’’ is created , it should always default to a contract ‘’zyz’’ whoich the need to manually change the contract.?

Hello, Is it possible to set up multiple SLAs for an item based on what time a service order is opened? For instance, one SLA if opened during active hours at a store, a different SLA if after hours? We are on v15 and currently have our SLAs set up on individual items, contracts are for individual site IDs. Thanks for your help!

I have a UAT environment where Undo GL Batch Export is not available in one of the profiles. GL Application setup:

We are using Azure SSO in our system, including Mobile but sometimes there is no internet access for engineers in some sites, so they have to leave and find a signal to be able to log in. Is it possible to remove SSO for Mobile only? If so, could that be set for just some mobile users or must be all? Could it be turned of just temporarily/quickly and then back on again? Thanks

We are trying to better understand when/how these three fields (currency, customer group, and primary price book) on a SITE come into play with pricing on orders. We do not allow both customer/site records in our database so each customer center record is either a CUSTOMER or SITE. We strictly manage these three fields on CUSTOMERS, but have found that the data on SITES is not aligned/consistent. We are tyring to determine which fields we should populate and clean up.

HI During a customisation our customer has encounter a crash during the publicaiton to “public” of the customization. He has been obliged to kill the astea browser process. Now when he wants to redo is customization, when he save the customization the following message is displayed “Another save transaction currently executing in customizationmanager module” and he is blocked. How can we solve this ?

Hi, Where can I find the list of the agreed devices for ALLIANCE V15.4.7 please ? For at least one customer, we’ve been told that some issues are reported using ALLIANCE when Android OS is updated, for device such as Samsgung A71, whereas everything seems good for Samsung Galaxy A34 (more recent). We are trying to determine if the "Astea BM Manager" service needs to be running on any of our servers. Could anyone provide information on what this service controls and when it need to be running?

We don’t have Email configured in Customer Center but technician enter the e-mail address manually while closing an activity. But email were not sent to customer.

We have one user that is experiencing this error when trying to access the Customer center module. It occurs on any machine we try to use her credentials on. It is not something we have ever encountered. Any suggestions before I issue a support ticket?

HI, I don’t know yet if this is the cause of an issue we have, but sometimes, I can see this message in the transaction log : Comment is ”server sent a request to delete quote for user xx but quote was not yet on the Device” Can you explain in which case we have to log ? And what should be the result ? I wonder if it can be an explanation for an issue causing “status change” unavailable. ‘is_sent_to_mobile’ is still set to Y…. ALLIANCE V15.4.7

We have a scenario where a number of new products need to be imported to the Product Center. We have the the ‘Product line’ we want associated to these products already configured in the Product Lines module. We have verified the required Field ID in the ‘product_maint’ import file matches the file field in the Product line module. The import completes successfully with no errors but in all instances, the Product line field in the Product center is not populating as expected. Any idea what we are doing incorrectly?

I have a user where we have issues installing Astea browser from both live and UAT-environment on the same PC. This is a user that does a lot of testing - and we need to use the Astea Browser for Dispatch Console. When trying to install Astea Browser from UAT (in Edge), we got the error that it is already installed. Checking in Installed programs, only one instance of Astea Browser is installed (pointitng to the live environment). I uninstall this, and sucessfully install the browser from the UAT environment. But when I try to install the browser from the live environment I get the following (it’s a mix of live (astea.culligan) and UAT (asteauat.culligan) references How do we clean up the PC so we install both live and UAT browser on the same PC?

Hi, One of our customer’s technician has an error on his mobile phone ALLIANCE application, when he tries to display the map. He selects his parameters and then clic on the glass : The error message is “google maps did not load correctly on this page.”. Phone is a Samsung. Version 15.4.12.0 Any suggestion ? Thanks

Our customers are able to attach files when creating Service Orders. We would like to kick off an internal project to make use of these attachments. Where are these stored? I have found references to the attachments in the database in table ap_attachments, but the file content does not appear to be in the db, base64 string, blob, or otherwise. How can we access these attachments in bulk, and refer them back to the original ap_table_key?

I am attempting to set up an Approval Process based on the attached guide. I do so to the letter. When I hit save, it offers to activate it for me, and I say yes. From this state, any attempt I make to save, even without making changes, shows this error message. I cannot see anything wrong. I have gone through the process several times, always with the same result. As soon as I add a condition/phase, it will no longer save when Active. I have attached one of the approval processes that I have setup according to the guide, which currently cannot be saved even without making changes. Can someone advise me on what the configuration issue is?
