Hello,when I try to assign a task with a long duration (more than 1 day) on the Schedule Board, I get the following error:“The technician has person calendar exceptions that prevent the delegation of this task.”This is because although I'm trying to assign the task to a day when the technician is available for work, as the task covers the next day when the technician has a calendar exception, the aforementioned error already occurs.Are there any parameters/configurations that can be changed in order to assign tasks to this scenario?Thanks! 

Hi All,I’ve been struggling to setup a working child relationship on the CONTRPRODCOVLOOKUP screen (FSM 6.5 Smart Client).  I’m wondering if there is some type of limitation to handle relationships on lookup type screens?We have a field I want to display gos_contract.ext.is_paid.  I can add the field to the screen, but it never shows a value regardless of what is set in the database.  Maybe I’m just overlooking something.Any suggestions?Thanks! Child Relationship on contract selections screen. gos_contract_ext Custom Metadata 

What are the differences between regular work orders and repair work orders?

I have a business rule that inserts a new Task on the Request screen from the previous Task Status Update (Task Succession).This is an XML rule, rule 10 is not used as the status used is an OP status so rule 10 is not explicitly called.The XML insert rule works and inserts the new Task however, to see the Task the screen has to be refreshed manually. This is not ideal as the user thinks the rule has not worked.How can i get the XML rule to refrresh the screen so that the new Task appears?

I want to get difference of days in two dates in business rule expression. for example  I have two dates 2024-05-14 13:28:10  and 2024-05-16 09:28:10 in the columns time_commit.start_dttm and time_commit.commit_dttm respectively. I want to get the difference of their days (for this case it is 2) and difference of their hours (for this case 4 hours). Please note that I tried to use value type rule. I also created a view which will give this required result but the view is not working with value type it seems. Any advise will be appreciated.

Hello all,When a user navigates to PSO Planning/ Resource Planner and clicks on “start planning” button, sometimes the following 2 errors occur. “An error occurred on the server. Server error. if this recurs please consult your administrator. (code 1)”“Error Creating Workingset Rota” However, if the user clicks again on the same button after the error, the workingset Rota will be created successfully.Do you know what triggers the first error, because it seems to be a server related cause? How can we prevent this error from occurring? Please provide your inputs...Kind Regards

In a screen added a field as combo box, to select the country from lookup.When selecting for the first time getting error as : Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'filter')After reselecting it’s working fine. Any idea how this can be fixed. Thanks,Lavanya

Is it possible to view the values that are being evaluated by Business Rules? I have tried turning the log up but it only tells you if it matched or not, not what actual value was being checked. We have a rule set up on TASK_EVENT (On Commit Insert) as follows, key point is thre value for Global_Name is not supposed to match for the rule to fire:However, the notification still fires even if the values matches (its meant to only fire if it doesnt match the value) I have checked the value in the table directly, and even put the value in the notification message but it still thinks that the value does not match and fires. Any ideas?

Hello,We want to remove or disable the buttons related to work status on the user's menu only for back office users, as shown in the attached image. We can not set global codes to inactive cause these work statuses are being used on mobile users.Also, it is not possible to achieve this using access groups since we are using the same user role across back office and mobile platforms and the users only differ by user type.Do you know how to achieve this?Please as you provide your input...Thank you!

Hi, I generated a WO from a Service Contract and noticed that the Customer is empty. The PM that I used is linked to a Work task Template, and the Work Task Templates DO have the Customer on there. So why do the Work Tasks have the customer, but the Work Order itself is empty. This is rather confusing. Or is there a specific reason for this that I am missing here? Best RegardsRoel  

In Apps 9 there was a field within both Part and No Part Requisition Lines called ‘Cost Return At’. If this value was set to ‘Arrival’, this would create a work order posting when the purchase order created from the requisition was received. I cannot see an equivalent field in Apps 10. Is this functionality available somewhere else? We basically want an entry in the Cost tab of the Work Order Task when a purchase order (created via requisition) is receipted.

When we change a technician’s truck in their PERSON record/Place for Stock, the PERSON_PLACE sync rules sends the update truck change to mobile within an hour.  However many screens continue showing the old truck value until the mobile user initializes.This is because these screens have client refresh scripts that populate fields from e.g. var Tech_Truck_Place = getUserInfo('StockFromPlace');How can I update that getuserinfo data on mobile without having to initialize the phone.

We would like to use PSO Depots with FSM 6 to have technicians pick up parts for calls but don't know how or if this is even possible.In the PSO Scheduling Concepts - Parts Functional Guide, there is the following blurb which says "Depots are a special type of Activity (with activity_class_id=DEPOT)" but it looks like the activity_class_id for Activities (aka: Tasks) is hard coded to "CALL" in the Metrix.Threesity.Integration dll. Hi All,I got below requirement form client ,Is there any way to use full 8 hrs shift with out creating new template for 9 hrs.1.We use FSM Appointment Booking. We have Appointment Templates created for 2, 4, 6 and 8 hour blocks. Technician shifts are generally a maximum of 8 but sometimes 9 hours. Our Scheduling team needs to sometimes book appointments that take 490 minutes (8 hours) but FSM doesn’t show appointment availability for that length of time – we’re guessing that’s due to being beyond a one-day shift. We tried lowering the Duration until FSM finally showed offers and it looks like PSO’s offers include travel time in the formula for shift availability so won’t give offers for the full 8 hours. [However it appears that when Appointment Booking is accepted PSO does not include travel in scheduling]. We’re considering creating a new Appointment Template for a 9 hour block and wonder if that is a solution, or is there some other mechanism we can use for PSO to give offers for a

We have used mpm ‘perform_create_contract_bill_schedules_for_contract’ many times to regenerate bill schedules after doing mass contract pricing updates using an import map.  It would appear that the mpm has been deprecated from u6 to u25.  What is it replaced by?Thanks,Richard

Hi,Has anyone developed a quick report or something similar to generate a dynamic projected revenue for a given service contract? This is for projected revenue and not the actual revenue. This is somewhat possible by generating invoice preview lines, but is there a way to find it without generating them? Cheers

Good afternoon, We use ODATA integration to retrieve data from various Views and Tables in FSM.We've noticed that all ODATA "GET" requests are constrained by the value set in the "ROW_LIMIT" application parameter.Is there a way for ODATA to return more than the Row_limit set number of rows without increasing the Row Limit across the entire system?Perhaps this could be defined in the Custom Metadata, by Table or View? Thank you!
