We would like to use PSO Depots with FSM 6 to have technicians pick up parts for calls but don't know how or if this is even possible.In the PSO Scheduling Concepts - Parts Functional Guide, there is the following blurb which says "Depots are a special type of Activity (with activity_class_id=DEPOT)" but it looks like the activity_class_id for Activities (aka: Tasks) is hard coded to "CALL" in the Metrix.Threesity.Integration dll. From what we see, when GenerateActiviyExportXml is called, it internally calls AddActivtyToXDoc which has the following line, hard coding the activity_class_id to “CALL”:this.AddNodeAndValue(xDocIn, element, "activity_class_id", "CALL");) If PSO Depots are truly Activities with an activity_class_id equalling “DEPOT”, can we use PSO Depots with FSM 6 or is there another way to have technicians directed to pick up parts by the system to be dynamically scheduled for a call? PSO Scheduling Concepts - Parts Functional Guide - Page 6DepotsWhere there are lots of pi

Hi All,I got below requirement form client ,Is there any way to use full 8 hrs shift with out creating new template for 9 hrs.1.We use FSM Appointment Booking. We have Appointment Templates created for 2, 4, 6 and 8 hour blocks. Technician shifts are generally a maximum of 8 but sometimes 9 hours. Our Scheduling team needs to sometimes book appointments that take 490 minutes (8 hours) but FSM doesn’t show appointment availability for that length of time – we’re guessing that’s due to being beyond a one-day shift. We tried lowering the Duration until FSM finally showed offers and it looks like PSO’s offers include travel time in the formula for shift availability so won’t give offers for the full 8 hours. [However it appears that when Appointment Booking is accepted PSO does not include travel in scheduling]. We’re considering creating a new Appointment Template for a 9 hour block and wonder if that is a solution, or is there some other mechanism we can use for PSO to give offers for a

We have used mpm ‘perform_create_contract_bill_schedules_for_contract’ many times to regenerate bill schedules after doing mass contract pricing updates using an import map.  It would appear that the mpm has been deprecated from u6 to u25.  What is it replaced by?Thanks,Richard

Hi,Has anyone developed a quick report or something similar to generate a dynamic projected revenue for a given service contract? This is for projected revenue and not the actual revenue. This is somewhat possible by generating invoice preview lines, but is there a way to find it without generating them? Cheers

Good afternoon, We use ODATA integration to retrieve data from various Views and Tables in FSM.We've noticed that all ODATA "GET" requests are constrained by the value set in the "ROW_LIMIT" application parameter.Is there a way for ODATA to return more than the Row_limit set number of rows without increasing the Row Limit across the entire system?Perhaps this could be defined in the Custom Metadata, by Table or View? Thank you!

Once logged into the FSM Web client and launching the Schedule Workbench to open PSO, when the user selects a task and view details and selects FSM Task Info, this launches a new browser window but back to a new log in page even though the original log in session is still open and active.  Is there a way to prevent this and just open the selected task? Richard

Hi, Can someone tell me please why a business rule (process ID 10, standard rule) would fire selectively bqsed upon a task update. For example. if i change the status on a task record, the rule will fire on certain statuses and not others (i have the watch turned on for that rule)? What controls this? ThanksMartin

As per the schedule, Release Notes should be made available as U28 should be released by 3rd May 2024. When will we expect to receive the Release Notes of FSM6 Update28?

Hi Experts,We are running into this annoying error that completely locks down the task and prevents any update. Above is when I tried to update the description field of the task 17525. This field is not associated with any business rule. In this example, this only occurs for the highlighted task 17525 whereas the other tasks can be updated without an issue. Also, I could update the task 17525 via SQL without an issue, so only an xml update seems to be causing this.So, we suspect a certain pattern of processing the task ends up in causing the task to be in this corrupted state. Our current suspicion is that when we at once trigger multiple integrations that update the task, it leads to this (we are yet to ascertain that). But my contention is that it shouldn’t leave the task in this type of a corrupted state regardless of the process.What I have since attempted is to mark all the custom metadata fields as “force select”, refreshed cache, re-logged in and tried to update the task. Hi, The requirement is to retrieve the value for WO No using an API call and to assign that value to a variable, so that it can be inserted into a custom field in Miscellaneous Resource Allocation page. The code to retrieve WO No value is shown below. Hi all,I’m trying to filter the Part Usage List, but no luck so far.There is no Where Script option (it’s a baseline screen) to use.I’m now trying to filter via the Populate script. But function like ‘deleteRow’ isn’t supported in mobile.Also no luck so far with creating a empty list and then add a line via ‘setRowOnListData’ Any suggestions?
