Trying to add and set the field ‘contact.status’ as a drop down on the PLACECONTACTLOOKUP screen in the search criteria and default it to ‘Active’ contacts only. Tried setting the Default Value field in the properties for the control to the required value (AC for Active) but the default value doesnt show when the lookup screen appears. What have a i missed?

You need to set the value in the lookup navigation settings
This is an example, match it to your field name and required value.

Thanks for the reply, i have tried applying it as per the screenshot below. However it does not work. Note, right clicking the field in the search pane (where i want the default to apply) doesnt give you the ‘Lookup Navigation’ option in thje context menu, however it does if you right click the field in the results pane.
This is set on the field where you launch the lookup. NOT on the lookup screen itself.
