We have a site that have entered new prices into the pricelists manually for many years.Adding a new price list line and leaving the old price as-is, without ‘closing’ the old price with a ‘Valid to’ date. Now we want to close the old prices by adding a ‘Valid to’ date to all price list lines that has a newer price. Is there a function in IFS to close old pricelist lines? Or do we have to this with SQL or migration job?

Hi!We are looking into providing a Partner Community in SharePoint that would interact with IFS CRM using CRM access. We would like to create PowerApps in SharePoint that talks with IFS CRM. We have connected the SharePoint user to an IFS user. So the idea is to in the SharePoint page display Apps for Registering Leads, see a list of current leads and so on.Has anyone tried out connecting PowerApps to IFS and have any experience with it? Could be connected to any part of the system.

Hello,We are working with our Customer Contact Management for leveraging IFS as our CRM. We have our customer sites split out as separate customers to allow for different rep assignments and visibility at the site level of a Customer 360 view. We are running into an issue where the Customer Contact’s Manager is located at a different site (therefore a different customer in IFS). Is there a way around this? Is this functionality on the roadmap for IFS? The only workaround i found was to add the manager to the site where his/her employee was located. Thanks! Carrie

When creating a new business opportunity we have noticed that some customer ID’s with a active market value is not being pulled into the field market on the business opportunity. Any reason why this may be happening?

We use Call Centre Cases extensively and we control access internally using Support Organisations and Case Types of “Local”. This stops Users from seeing Cases that should be limited from their access.We are now looking to use Global Solutions but the same access controls do not seem to exist. It appears that regardless of your Support Organisation access you are able to see all Global Solutions and edit them if the permission sets allow it. Is anyone aware of any method for controlling access on which Global Solutions Users can see?

When in Business Lead and select RMB > Convert Lead a dialogue box appears where you select the Customer Category and can enter the Cust Stat Grp etc.,  On clicking OK the Customer is created and the Lead is deleted.Finally, a message appears:  I cannot see where this Question is being executed from.The reason for asking is because we want to convert Business Leads to Customer Category ‘Prospect’ only so have created a Custom Menu that basically feeds the Business_Lead_API.Convert_Lead__ and the Customer Category ‘Prospect’ is passed. Can anyone please advise.Thanking you in advance.

Multiple shipments out of 1 order, how do you see amount of pallets ?Or must this be all manual calculated by CSR?

When creating a Business Opportunity in APPS10 Enterprise Explorer there is a field “Main Representative”. I want the option to add any IFS user to this but the list of values only allows me to add the names that are listed in a separate screen called “Representative 360”.However there is only one user in this screen and it looks like a test user. There isn’t any option to add a user (no “plus” icon) How do I make an IFS User a “Representative 360” user?Thank you.

Trying to clean up old customer orders but get an error. Order has one line item qty of 2 but qty 1 invoiced and line and order status is “Delivered”. How can I change the quantity to 1 since that is already invvoiced? We tried Undo Delivery and get error. I just want to close the order with the qty 1 that is already invoiced? Any suggestions?

We are expanding the use of Commissions functionality in IFS 10 and would like to know how best to  handle the link between Commission Lines (attached to Customer Order) and the AP function of creating the corresponding Supplier Invoice.  We have commission set to generate at the point of Invoice to the customer and pay our Commissions Receivers once payment is received from the customer.  Is there a way to trigger AP to pay the Commissions Receiver (supplier) in IFS once payment is received from the customer?

Hello!  I am Solution Architect for IFS here in the US and am wondering about a situation that arose. We have a customer that puts several shipments to several of their customers on 1 truck (consolidated shipment) and want to distribute the freight cost for that consolidated shipment to all of the orders on that shipment by a formula that includes factors such as weight contribution of each order delivered and the distance of the drop-off to the customer from the shipping point.Has anyone ever encountered this and if so, what was your resolution? This company does about 50,000 of these truck shipments a year with freight charges in excess of $60 million so this is very important to them. 

Does anyone know how to add the Single occurance check box in the Sales Quotations?It is present in Sales Orders, but not in quotations and we are unable to amend delivery address in Quotations.

We are currently running Apps 10 and ran into a few internally questions regarding capability check. Currently we use Inventory Order  as our Sourcing Option (Sales Part > General Tab). Using this sourcing option doesn’t allow for Automatic Capability Check (Inventory Part > Misc Part Info). The struggle with this is that our Customer Service team has to rely on Available to Promise (ATP) to run during the customer order line entry. If it pops up a certain message, they are responsible to then run Capability Check. The manual step seems odd, as why wouldn’t IFS just run Capability Check out of the box and review the whole Bill of Material rather than just the top level part. Our organization is trying to understand how to run Capability Check “easier” and to ensure we don’t rely on a manual step to run this and adjust the customer order line to the proper date.Has anyone who been able to run Capability Check automatically or have a process in pla

When sending the Order Confirmation as XML (ORDRSP), file was not generated in the OUT1 queue. Once you resend it after some time, it was sent.What would be the reason for this kind of behavior? IFS Screen: Customer OrderIFS Action: Right mouse button, Send Order Confirmation  

Hello,The sales team asked me to add a new CF on the customer order and this CF has to be into a custom LU that they have to manage themselves. We have almost 30 different sites on the same application and nobody is allowed to see the data of the other sites.My concern, obviously, is to give them the possibility to manage only the rows of the custom LU that belong to them. For doing that I have created a custom LU with a field that is referenced to the view site_cfv, not a plain text field. I’m hoping that, with this kind of field, the application will give me only access to the sites that I can manage/see. But in this case I cannot set a default value.In the table view of the custom LU, I will hide the contract field and with an event I will set it as the default site. Now, having said all this stuff, my question is: is there a way to change the value of a parameter and obviously return it modified ?Thanks.  

Hi All,As mentioned in IFS HELP:FILTER ADMIN : are users who should have access to ALL records covered by that filter  Users who do not belong to a group are not affected by restricted access. ==> will have access to ALL records.Cannot really see the difference between Admin users and a user not included by mistake in any Access Group.  From my understanding once Status of the filter is ON, user that doesn’t belong to any access group must NOT have access to any Business Opportunity (same as in Project). Thanks for the clarification 

Does anyone have any ideas how I can output an XML file for customer invoice with a custom field?I am using IFS standard SEND_INVOICE message function and routing.I have all of the fields I need bar 1! which is a custom field.

Hello,A customer of ours uses sales price lists for their customers. They have now two sales locations (UK and US) outside their main office in the Netherlands (NL). UK and US sales locations are treated as customers. Customers outside of the Euro zone got orders priced in Euros. So no matter what country the customer is in.The sales locations UK and US procure products from the NL location. They do this via their connected price list in Euro’s.Main company wants these, for NL sales, to be handled in the currency of the receiving country. So UK will buy products and the sales order in NL is raised in GBP. For US this means sales orders in USD.New pricelists must be prepared in both GBP and USD.This is done in site for company NL which has currency code EUR.When a part is raised in the new price list (stated in GBP for example) the base price for the part is calculated against a currency rate set.Is there an option to use a specific cu

can someone explain how the amount discount is calculated in customer order line if there is tax code defined for the line? cause in my case i can see that, the amount discount gets changed based on the tax code which i dont want. [both for app-9 and app-10]

Hello,In my case, I have 1 site in which I have a normal warehouse and a remote warehouse. It happens that I have an article that is in both the normal warehouse and the remote warehouse. I can use the transport task to refill the remote warehouse from the normal warehouse.I used the remote warehouse to materialize the store part of our warehouse. In this part, the customers come to buy products, so they pick directly items by themselves. Then, they go to the cashier and the cashier enters a customer order.Is it possible, when I make a customer order, to make IFS understand that this article must be taken from the remote warehouse and not from the normal warehouse?Thank you :)

Hi,In IFS documentation I can read that contact created on customer can be updated both from person and customer contact level. From customer contact it should be possible to do by RMB > Edit > Full name dialog box. Unfortunately under RMB > EDIT I do not have such option. Could that be that I am missing something in permision sets? If so - could You tell what? Thank You,Bernadeta

Hi,We have created a lobby for warehouse were they see pick lists that are created, but not yet printed. We use the information that comes from “Next step in Shipment Flow”. Shipments are reserved by the planner and the picklist is created by a scheduled task. The tick box “Print pick List” is not selected in the task.Most shipments move as expected in the order flow: Reserve → Create Pick list→ Print Pick List → Report pickingBut some shipments moves immediatly from Create Pick List to Report picking. When we look at the pick list, it has not been printed.I have checked the order types, and they all have the steps described above.It seems to happen more often when there are only single lines to be delivered on the shipment.Anyone who knows if we are doing something wrong in the set-up or if this could be a bug? Thank you in advance!/Kerstin
