Hi, I want to create a Lobby Data Source which shows the sum of values stored in 3 views. Therefore, I need to create an IAL. But I struggle to get the desired result. I created the SQL Statement in the SQL Query Tool and it gives the result I want. Some of our projects has multiple tasks, completed at different dates, that generate different orders.  Is it possible to tell, when viewing project connections, which task relates to which order? Below is an example of the Task and Project Connection tabs.   Project Tasks: Project Connections: 

We are using IFS 10. For new part business we create a Business Opportunity.  From the Opportunity Line, we create an Estimate.  When the Estimate is complete, we transfer the information back to the Opportunity, confirm the opportunity and create a Sales Quotation.We use a similar process for existing parts, but skip the Estimate.When we determine the Sales Quotation is won/lost, we close the Sales Quotation and indicate the won/loss status.  For existing parts, this rolls back to the Business Opportunity line and sets the line to won/loss.  However, this doesn’t happen for new parts.  These stay In Process and there does not seem to be a way to get them finalized.Is there a way to finalize the status on Business Opportunity lines for new part?

I have set up customer consignment stock. I deliver parts and then report cunsumption. Is there any way to cancell consumption reporting? Apps 9upd13 FYI: I have also setup custom objects to report consumption agains specific order, since there is full support in IFS standard code for that, but some reason client don’t support that. :)

We are getting an ‘Error’ while customer order on release.. 

Hello,  Hope y’all doing great and safe I use the IFS 10 and when making a commission agreement I noticed that there are only the options of calculate commissions of order entry and invoiced. But we would like to calculate it based on paid invoices. Is there a way or a suggested work around to perform it?  Thanks in advance, Best Regards  

Has anyone tried to restrict the access to notes in IFS9? We have several sites and they’d like to add site specific notes to customer records but it seems all users see all notes. 

I ran to the below error when trying to create Customer Order from Sales Quotation through the header RMB. Strangely all the sales parts in the Quotation are available. How could this happen?  ‘Show Details’ dosen’t give the part no. Salesperson is different from the Coordinator. Not recreatable in the testing environment to report to IFS :(  

What are each of the Address Types used for on the Customer Customer Master, General Address Information screen?  The drop down in Aurena shows Delivery, Document, Visit, Pay, Primary Contact and Secondary Contact.When I looked at the Object Properties for the VALID_ADDR records, it does not show Document in the values list.We are having trouble with the wrong address showing up on the customer invoice.  We have the Pay set up on the billing address and thought that would get us the information.  Now however it appears that the Document type is what is being used for the invoice.   

We have a fairly complex pricing model (using Sales Price Lists and Part Based Price Lists). We also provide rebates to certain customers who sell certain products to certain end users. We think we would like to start using Customer Agreements but would need to do it at the Delivery or invoice  Address level. I have read IFS help but do not see anything I think I could use at the address level. Ideas? Thanks

I am very new to IFS ERP and am attempting to educate myself throughout the software.  Can anyone please shed some insight into converting Business Leads into Business Opportunities and why I can’t find the converted opportunity anywhere?  I have tried this at least a dozen times using new customer, new prospects, existing customers.  The opportunity is nowhere to be found.  I understand once converted, the lead goes away.

Hi all, In the customer order process, after customer order line partially delivery for a line with non-inventory sales part, I’m creating a customer invoice and this invoice is then posted/authorized.If my customer rejects my delivery (for example because he disacreases the quantity), I’m able to create a customer credit invoice.However, I’m not able to cancel the delivery : IFS raises an error message due to the connection of the delivery to an existing invoice. Hi All,Has anyone integrated IFS Apps 9 into a website for the purposes of E-Commerce?We are looking to integrate for the purpose of taking orders via a webpage, online checkout (Shopify?) for B2B and B2C customers which requires integration with IFS to create records in IFS and read data from IFS.Has anyone implemented anything similar for Apps 9? Did you use Boomi? .Net? IFSConnect?Any info would be great as struggling to establish the correct way forward…Thanks

Require the ability to re-execute a sales process step / SP actions on a business opportunity will save the business from creating many, linked opportunities.Is it possible for the sales process to have revisioning ?

Is there anyway to rename or hide the IFS default Right mouse button menus ?For instance, this is the RMB from customer order screen. Is there an way to rename or hide “Print Order Confirmation” or “Print Pro Forma Invoice”   

When we export information from an IFS window (ie. Customer Order Lines) the information is exported in to Excel with a format of General. Unfortunately, it drops the zeros off the front of our customer numbers. Right now our work around is it export the information to a txt file, then use Excel’s “Get Data” functionality to convert the cells from General to Text format.Is there a set-up available that will automatically do this when we export from IFS?

We are on Apps10 Upd10 and are having an issue with user security in regards to restricting access from creating a prospect or a customer through the CRM Outlook Panel. The Create Customer under RMPanelHandling is unchecked as shown below on the permission set assigned to the user but it does not prevent the user from generating a record as a customer or prospect from the panel. Is the not working correctly or is additional security required?  

Hello,We were working through using CRM Panel and identified that when a contact is in the database multiple times, you can see that person tied to multiple customers (we have not tested what happens if contact is in as  person twice). Since you cannot delete contacts once they have content on them, we use the block contact as a way to remove them from selection in IFS. Is there a way to mitigate this issue in CRM Panel? Thanks,Carrie

We have a process that outputs a CSV file which we manually load into IFS using the external customer load assistant.Is there a way of scheduling this task??Thanks for your help

We are using Business Opportunities, the Product Estimator and Sales Quotations.If we create a Business Opportunity for an existing part and convert it to a Sales Quotation, when we update the Sales Quotation lines for won/lost, it updates the Business Opportunity lines with the same information.If we create a Business Opportunity for a new part and run it through the Product Estimator then convert to a Sales Quotation, when we update the Sales Quotation, it does not update the Opportunity Lines.  There appears to be no way to update individual opportunity lines if the product estimator was used.Is there a way to do this that we are missing?

We are seeing some issue how IFS price list  discount works and It is very hard to explain customer and normal users that same discount % can charge you more for each unit if you order quantity changes. We are wondering if other IFS customer also faced such issue and how they are dealing with it. ( though it is few cents to dollar per order but math doesn’t match.Please see my scenario:Price List Line  with a sales Price of $55.01/ea  and discount of  55%. ( Net Sales Price $22.50 /ea)- Screen shot below:  Now from Customer/user perspective :Order Qty and Total should be following:Order Qty   Line Total                                                       IFS Calculated Line Total                     (Discounted Price Per Unit X Qty)1                  22.50

looking for ideas or solutions people have used when selling software which includes license tracking etc…Need to have a top level sales part which can be configured, think Microsoft office and then choosing Excel, Word, Outlook…  Any thoughts or past experiences?

Je souhaiterais faire la somme des montants de ces lignes afin de vérifier que la somme coïncide avec  le montant total de la commande, dans l’onglet “lignes de commande”. Merci! 

There is any way that I can track the shipping's of the customer order. Because I would like to track the freight until they arrive to the customer.I know that the majority prefer to have a third party in this but i would like to do it from IFS10.Any help or idea could help, please.
