While I’m trying to update the  “order” field in “customer” one error message is showing during save. “ Field( Print withholding Tax) is mandatory “ Could anyone suggest me how to solve this, please? 

I created a new “User” and setup the “Person” and created a “Coordinator” and assigned to a group but the coordinator will not auto populate on the customer order screen. We have other users that auto populate their coordinator when creating a customer order but not this new user. We upgraded to APPS10 UPD11 4 months ago, is it different in APPS10?What am I missing?  

We are running into an issue with using the staged billing functionality  - we cannot invoice and close the lines and it appears that it’s about a penny off. Please see the following screen shot - we cannot figure out when we try to make an adjustment why we cannot get the order to close. any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated.Thank you,Abby

Usually DO can add only one line (one part number). But I need to know how to merge multiple DOs to  one customer order in APPS 8. 

Hi All, How can I set up PO authorization rule for no-part order lines.this is we call indirect purchase and all indirect purchase should  go to one group for authorization,  irrespective of purchase group / cost center  

In Apps 10 B2B for Customer, when adding products to the Shopping Cart, there is no way to filter Favorite Products. Below is a IFS slide showing a button that navigates to Favorite Products, a column to see which is favorite and a mark/unmark favorite features. This is my user view. These features are not available  

Hi, I wondered if it was possible for when you search for an order number or PO number in IFS apps 9, it can also have the shipment numbers on the dropdowns?   It would be much easier to know which Order # matches with what shipment #, instead of having to go manually into the shipment to find out. Would anybody know if this can be done and how?  Thank you  Kate 

Hi All, I’m trying to familiarize myself with Customer Schedule in order to fulfill a demand from a customer. But I’m getting a bit lost in the complexity of theset-up and basic data. We are in IFS App10 Upd9.Need to design a solution where in the absence of a Sales part in the Supply site, the incoming customer order triggers a notification and possibly creates the inventory part / sales part. (Master Part is available) automatically upon approval. Is there somebody already using a similar setup? Need not be the same. What would be the best way to implement this? Please share your ideas. We have created the purchase order from Work order purchase requisition and the work order is in related status and Purchase order in Planned state,  i am trying to cancel the purchase order , system is giving error “ there are peggings connected to purchase order lines, Remove the pegging first and then cancel the purchase order. How do i cancel the old purchase orders.

Hi We are using IFS apps. 10We want to use the sales configurator in IFS to create sales quotations, but we need it to work offline. The use cases for offline sales work is, 1) Using the time on a plane traveling to a customer site to make a quotation. 2) It happens that you are with a customer where it is difficult to get an internet connection and even more difficult to get a VBN connection. I have only read about two solutions Maintaining and distributing a so-called version to the user of the IFS/Sales Configurator client tool - This is not possible for IFS apps. 10 Native apps. - This is not developed for the sales configuratorDoes anyone know a solution to working offline with the sales configurator in IFS? Thanks

Hej, I am working with a customer that required, Sum functionality in lot of view in the application. this used to be a basic feature in IEE but is not available here in Cloud. Is there a plan to implement this going forward, since it will also help our existing customer moving from Apps9/Apps10 into cloud. BRRohit

Hello, The customer wants to change the sequencing of the lines in the customer order. For example, if we start with the line 10, is it possible that the second line has a number 20 then 30 ... (a step of 10)?Thank you in advance.

Hello IFS Community,We are an IFS customer using Apps 10.  We use CRM on a limited basis and we haven’t done much of anything with Aurena yet.  We are evaluating our CRM needs to determine if IFS CRM can do what we need or if we need to look at Salesforce and then integrate with IFS ERP.As part of that evaluation, we would like to talk to an IFS customer who uses IFS CRM in Aurena.  The more extensive the use of CRM and the more extensive the use of Aurena the better.  Use of the Outlook integration offered by IFS would also be great to see.We would like to understand what that customer’s use cases for CRM are, how Aurena has helped, and the implementation effort required.If you are such a customer or know such a customer, please let me know.ThanksMark

Is there a way to receive Customer Agreement ID in Incoming Customer Order message from external customer. In client you can enter Customer Agreement manually and use Customer Agreements that are excluded from automatic pricing. But it seems to me that you cannot do that when you receive Customer Order with message. So you can only use automatic pricing there even if customer is aware of those Agreement ID:s and is able to send those when placing order.

We are tryin to use the Shipment Handling Unit functionality to build our shipments. If we designate a pallet as a Handling unit and start adding Shipment lines to it but then find out, for example, we need to pull off one or several cases of product from the pallet because they don’t all fit on the pallet or we need a different lot # of one product, can we/how can we do it?  I’ve read the help and there is Delete and Disconnect but seems they are only available at the Handling unit level (i.e. to delete the entire Handling Unit. )    True? any workaroun

We’re looking to upgrade from IFS Applications 9 to IFS Cloud. We’re currently using IFS Sales and Marketing, but with this upgrade, we’ll move to Embedded CRM.Our products are carefully selected for each customer and are often highly engineered. We’re a global company offering different product lines manufactured in each facility, but our product lines are similar enough for an untrained person to potentially select the wrong one. When a business opportunity comes in, some engineering work is necessary before we know which site’s products would best suit the customer’s needs. We don’t want to do this engineering work until we have some reasonable justification for the cost of this work, but we do want to enter each business opportunity into IFS as soon as we can. Our best work-around on the table so far is to create a company called “CRM” with a single site called “CRM” where we can dump all our opportunities. Within Apps9, can you please provide direction on the best way to lock down edits to the customer record or transactions (Bus Opportunity, Sales Quote, Customer Order, Shop Order, Customer Invoices) by our Sales Team, so they can edit only their own, and any direct reports.  If they don’t have direct reports, they cannot edit any transaction or customer unless their name is listed as the Salesman.   Or can this be locked down by the Main Representative?  Example:  Only Jane Smith can edit Jane Smiths Sales Quote.  She can view everyone’s, but can only edit her own.   

Hello,  Is there a possibility of integrating the responses obtained via the Mailchimp platform in the marketing campaigns page in IFS ? 

If a customer agreement has no Deal per Part lines, it is not possible to activate it after entering all the necessary basic data. However, you can simply add a Deal per Part line, activate the customer agreement, delete the Deal per Part line added earlier. Is it a bug or expected behavior?   

Normally we can determine the refill point qty/ refill to qty for parts on a remote warehouse assortment; but this functionality is only for the remote warehouse.My question is:Is this possible anywhere in IFS for not remote warehouse in APPS9?

Hi everybody,many employees from sales ask me for a approving function in customer quotations.For example: If the total amout is over than 10.000 Euro then employees X and Y need to approve it before you can release it or turn it into a custmer order.Is something like this possible in IFS Apps 10 or Cloud? Please check one of the requirements of the customer below. Some staff need to see insert and update history to Customer PO No field in Customer Order screen.  This is grabbed from the HISTORY_LOG and HISTORY_LOG_ATTRIBUTE tables. Users can only see what they have entered, but not what others have entered.Need to know how to have report show what everyone has entered without giving FND_ADMIN permission (full admin access).  Is there any way to do it?
