(Are these values same for whoever user uses IFS self service procurement portal to do purchases. Aren’t their user id/password needed ?). Also what are the values needed for <url endpoint> and <redirect url> ? can the redirect url be https://yyyy

Integration to EskerI have a customer that uses Esker for its decentralized purchasing where many people can create a requisition and the customer has put several approval rules within Esker.Esker's website says they have integrated with IFS before but I never heard of it before. Has anyone ever integrated with Esker and if so, what were the integration points ?Thanks for rapid responses!

Hello,I have the following requirement for a customer, and need some help! If a Non-Inv Purchase Part is entered in the PR line, the Part Description field should cleared out or left empty so that the user can enter a new description and then be able to save the line. There’s a condition to consider, if Inventory Part = true, nothing should happen, the line must save as normal. If Inventory Part = false, the Part Description should be cleared out as previously mentioned. I created the following BPA workflow. I added a API Read task to read the Description, followed by a Script task to set the Description field as null, finally an API task to update the field. However, it’s not working. When deployed, I added a PR line, entered a Non-Inv PP and it shows an error saying the Description can’t be null, but the Description field isn’t cleared out. It shows the original value.

We have setup PO authorisations based on project roles. The setup is working correctly until we connect a sub project to the project role assignment. We are interested in narrowing down our PO authorisations down to sub project - activity levels, however it does not work when we connect a sub project id to the role assignment. The auth step is fetched to the auth line, however, does not show the potential authoriser when there is a sub project id is connected. Are we missing anything in the setup?

Hi all, Is there anyone who can explain what the “Order Country” is in relation to Export Control?Is that the Country where the (purchasing) Site is connected to, or is this the Country where the goods are to be delivered to (Delivery location)? And the same relating to the Customer Country in Find and Connect Export License. Is this to be seen as the connected country of the Site purchasing an item, or is this where the goods are to be delivered?

Hello,I have a question regarding the Availability Check function and what it does and does not include.I am currently working in version 9 and currently using the CO Plannable field in Inventory Part Availability Planning to confirm what is included in the check.From what I can determine, requisitions and MRP planned supply/demand do not factor. This is understandable as they are not firm-enough to be considered. Shop Orders in a planned state will count as plannable supply, but the components of the shop order do not count as plannable demand. Planned purchase orders count as supply.Is there a way in to have planned shop order components and/or MRP Planned supply/demand to also be calculated in the availability check? If not, what methods do you suggest in order to have IFS provide consistent reliable dates for customer orders?Thanks in advance,Andrew

Hi,We are on IFS Cloud 24.2.13.We have created a custom command to receive goods through the Register Arrivals process. The custom logic successfully runs Receive_Order_API.Packed_Arrival when the Purchase Orders are created from Requisitions or Project Demand.If I try the same PO line using the Standard “Receive” button, it works as expected, which I think rules out things like the Unit of Measure being the issue?However, when we create a PO via a migration job (used for mass‑loading POs), and then run the same custom code to call:Receive_Order_API.Packed_Arrival…we get the following error:The calculated inventory quantity is 0 (zero) as a result of the stated purchase quantity and the quantity calculation rounding for the inventory part. Please consider increasing the purchase quantity

The Register Arrivals pages in IFS Cloud can’t be sorted by clicking column headers in 23R1. The page didn’t sort in the previous version we were on. My IT Team submitted a case and were told it is never going to sort?  No plans to make it sort in the future. Searching is great, but when our folks have a packing slip and parts in their hand it’s often faster and easier to sort 100 lines and scroll to what you need. What’s the logic behind this page not sorting so I can understand how we’re supposed to use it?

Hello,  How is the best and most effective to enter a Leadtime for article? I have heard and read different things. And if you change the Leadtime do you need to change the orderpoint and something else like the lot size? Also do you change the purchase Leadtime or something else? I have as a task to write a instructions for future colleagues so all tips and trick are in for interest. Give me the best tips hehe :)Thanks 

I need to reject line 4 in the Purchase Requisition, but it has the status Authorized. However, in Authorization it is no longer listed as authorized.  When we try to reject it, the following message appears: “Update not allowed after Request for Quotation is Created”.In Request for Order Quotation, line 4 is marked as Cancelled. This requisition was created from a work order.  APPS10 - UPD15

HelloIn IFS 10, for most of table view or list, we can have advance search by 1st sequency of Part number and 2nd sequency of Qty or other field. How can this happen in IFS Cloud? please help to advice.ThanksSusan

We are trying to configure the ORDRSP inbound message for a Procurement EDI implementation in our IFS Apps9 Update 3 environment. While we’ve reviewed the help documentation and successfully posted a message into the Application Messages table, for a supplier configured to accept order responses, we can’t get the message to actually trigger an Incoming Purchase Order Confirmation.The Application message successfully finds the InboundDistributionTransactions:ConfirmPurchaseOrder BIZ API, and it gets transferred… but nothing happens. Additionally, we can’t seem to setup a routing rule to direct the message into a different queue or anything. It’s almost like the Application Message is just ignoring routing rules and instantly transferring.Some discussions with AI tools suggest that perhaps Inbound EDI is not configured in IFS9U3. Does anyone know if this is true? Has anyone implemented Inbound Order Responses in V9U3 using standard functionality?

Hi All, Current version on the cloud application 25.1.5. I am trying to return a serial part that I received through PO back to the supplier. Please find the steps that I follow.Receive the PO to Inventory location. Re open the PO for the return > Enter the inspection QTY on the receipt > Register inspection result. Add the return option as “Return for Credit” > Shipment created > Serial automatically reserved Create pick list > Pick > and trying to deliver the shipment Following error pops up Does this seems to be a bug. I am pretty sure this worked without any issues previously. ThanksChamath

I’m having difficulty locating where historical forecast data resides in the Demand Forecast module within IFS Cloud. I know that Adjusted Forecast information is stored in the FORECAST_FLOW_DAY_PUB table, but is there a specific table that can be queried to retrieve historical demand data?

Once a PO is released and we want to add another PR using purchase order change order, even though PR is connected to a project, it’s giving error that line needs to be connected to projects and in POCo there is no project number, there is sub project etc. in iFS. What could be the issue. Original PO is connected to the same project as is in the PR that we using to o do POCO.

I want to create Engineering part numbers with a drawing revision and then be able to use them as Purchase Parts on a PO where the Rev number will appear. Can someone walk me through this? I’ve created the part numbers, but I can’t get the Rev to appear in the Part Order Lines.

Hello, We just implemented IFS and we are using the Inspect in QA process. Some receipts are for large quantities and we would like to release partial quantities from the receipt. Currently we are registering the inspection results for partial qty then changing the total inspection qty to zero in order to allow Move into Stock. However this restricts us from inspecting further until the stock is moved. Is there a better solution?

Unfortunately we often have parts moved into quarantine to be checked/inspected that remain in that location for an extended period of time.  As we do not know what the outcome of the inspection will be, the availability control is set to not nettable so that the stock can’t be considering for planning.  Unfortunately it does mean that MRP will generate requisitions meaning we could order more parts to then find out items are then released from quarantine and become available.  I am interested to know if anyone else has the same issue and how they manage it to avoid having too much stock.  Is there a mechanism where parts can be temporarily excluded from MRP whilst they undergo evaluation?

Good morning, How can we add Value-Added Services (VAS) charges—such as freight and customs—to Purchase Orders in IFS10 without losing efficiency due to change orders that require approval, while ensuring compliance with IFRS requirements?IFRS requires that all acquisition-related costs, including VAS charges like freight and customs, be allocated to individual inventory items. At the same time, VAS charges related to non-inventory items should not be handled held in inventory, any related charges should not flow through inventory.What is the best practice in IFS10 to achieve this—especially for scenarios where actual VAS costs are unknown at PO creation—without customization and while maintaining proper landed cost allocation and accounting treatment?

Hello,My customer would like to either: send a PO by email using the RMB “Send Email” option to the contact email defined on the PO (standard behavior), or send the PO to a one-time email address that is not stored in the supplier master data. I tested printing the PO and manually entering an email address on the pop up appearing. This works from a technical standpoint; however, the email sent is the standard IFS email, without any of the customized text (e.g. “Dear [Supplier_NO], please find attached PO [PO_ID] …”).Could you please advise on how to achieve this requirement while keeping the customized email content?Best regards,Laura
