Community, when posting lines generated from work order task that are under customer warranty, in the below screenshot, you can see the column Revene% under Sales tab, according to IFS document stated below, it should be Revenue % = 0. but system still values it 100, is it a bug? We are in APP10.Posting lines are under customer warranty.
Hi all,According to the Documentation ../ifsdoc/documentation/en/Appsrv/frmSystemDef.htm for IFSApp10 Update 27 it states that there are 3 different statuses: But when saving the record with status PLANNED I get this error. It would be VERY useful for us having value PLANNED. Thoughts about this? Have anyone made a customization allowing any other value as Default for Work Task Steps? Thanks.Best RegardsAnna-Lena
Have anyone been able to display feature layers from ArcGIS Enterprise Portal in IFS Cloud? We are now on 25R1 SU8 and I have not been able to get this to work since the ArcGIS Enterprise Portal uses single sign on...
Hello every one,I want to use the IFS feature to be able to predicted the value of a counter type parameter to be able to generate ahead of time my condition based preventive WO.I’ve done this simple test :I added some values for my running hour counter :And my PM action plan is updated like this : Do you know how this calculation work ? From what I understand :There are two calculation method (interpolation and average) : how to choose ? What is the exact formula used ? I’ve tried to modelise a simple linear regression with my values but I don’t find the same result There is a documentation (PM Plan) but it doesn’t seam up to date : I don’t find the “condition forecast configuration” mentionned in itIt will be mandatory in my current project to have these details to be able to make them validate by the maintenance methods department. Thanks !
Are there any dedicated training regarding Equipment Maintenance Management available? We would like to manage Equipment Calibration in IFS.
Client has a requirement to use SFG20 Maintenance Schedules for Preventive Maintenance on Buildings/Infrastructure. SFG20 does provide an API for integration.Has anyone implemented this before, preferably in Cloud?
We have a set of manufacturers we need to remove from the system since they are duplicated. (name varies slightly) however these manufactures are connected in different places in the system. (e.g. parts, functional objects etc) we are looking for way to disable these manufactures without running any scripts. does anyone have any experience doing similar work before? Simply we want to disable all the duplicated manufacturers and keep one.
Hi Folks, appreciate your help in getting rid of the below error when deleting a work task template work list, re generating associated PM actions same error pops.
Community, any idea how to resolve below error?

After upgrading from IFS 9 (UPD 16) to IFS Cloud 25R1 SU5, the upgrade was completed in two stages: IFS 9 → IFS 10 IFS 10 → IFS Cloud This approach followed the official IFS upgrade guidelines for migrating IFS 9 customers to IFS Cloud.During verification of the first iteration, an issue was reported. When opening Prepare Work Order or Historical Work Order, the errors shown in the attached screenshots appear.Questions What is the correct setup for Object Connection Transformation in IFS Cloud to allow media attached to a work order to be viewed in Historical Work Orders, and vice versa? If a work order contains multiple tasks, is it possible to configure object connections so that work order media can be viewed within a specific task (for example, the task where Order No. = 0)? Why does the IFS upgrade process not handle system-defined Object Connection Transformation entries that are no longer valid in IFS Cloud (for example, Active Routes)? When upgrading from Apps 9 to the Cloud, work orders generate work tasks based on several conditions, such as:Availability of operation lines Tool lines Jobs, etc. This applies to both active work orders/routes and historical work orders/routes. Questions on Work Task Generation During Migration from Apps 9 to CloudWhat are all the triggers that control the generation of work tasks? Under what conditions does the system generate a single task versus multiple tasks for work orders (both active and historical)? How are routes converted into work orders during the migration process?
Hi everyone, We are trying to create serial object with the rental module, but we don’t manage to do it.We have enabled “create SM object” on sales part, but the object is not created when we deliver rental CO lines. Is it possible to create object with this process ? Do you have any other solutions ?Thanks,Simon Pertin
HiI’m seeking input from the community regarding a status synchronization issue between the MWO Maintenance App and IFS Cloud. In the MWO Maintenance App, within Work Task details, all task steps were updated to Done, time was reported, and the Work Task status was moved to Completed. However, when reviewing the same Work Task in IFS Cloud, only a subset of the steps reflects the Done status, while the remaining steps still appear as Not Done. Additionally, the reported time is not fully updated in IFS Cloud.Has anyone encountered a similar discrepancy between the mobile app and IFS Cloud? Any insights on potential causes, sync settings to review, or recommended troubleshooting steps would be greatly appreciated.Thank You
We have a customer that has Serial Parts as Company Owned: Some of them have outstanding work orders on them but we would like to move them from Company Owned to "Company Rental Asset" and Current Position to "In Inventory" so that they are available to rent to customers. What are the steps to do this en masse?
HelloIn 25 R1, When a Work Order is linked to a Project Activity and a Work Task is cancelled while still having assigned resources and material lines, the associated committed costs continue to remain recorded against the Project Activity. The key concern is that these costs are not automatically rolled back to reflect the cancellation of the Work Task.Could someone clarify the recommended approach to correctly adjust or reverse these costs at the Project Activity level to ensure accurate project cost tracking? Alternatively, is this behavior considered a system defect/bug?Your guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank You
IFS Cloud 25R1 On a Person Resource Group Requirements tab, I have specified the Requirements along with a Requirement Source , Requirement ID, and Requirement Value. In the Resource Requirement Analysis screen, the fulfillment by Resource correctly specifies whether the Resources fulfil the Criteria. None, Partially of FullWhen I create a Work Task and assign the Task to a Resource that does not fulfill the requirement criteria, there is no system message to prevent or warn that the Work Task Assignment should not go ahead due to the Resource not fulfilling the Resource Requirement criteria. Is there a standard function in IFS to provide a warning / error message when the resource being assigned does meet the Resource Requirement criteria ?
Is in IFS Cloud 25R2 any possibility to present the due dates of PM Actions over a certain time range (e.g. Week, Month, Year) in graphical way such as a Gantt chart without creating Work Order?Thx for your support
Hello,After 25R1, user is unable to approve project forecast with project forecast full access.please suggest the projection which is responsible to approve project forecast template on IFS CLoud.Regards, mrunal khante
We are transfering fra IFS10 to Cloud. All our spareparts have pictures connected to the master part, and we are used to seeing the picture in the media window in IFS10 as we click thru the BOM.In Cloud we need to click several times in the list (binder and folder-tab for every line). I belive a card view of the BOM would have improved the functionality. Typical place for BOM is shown in picture. Are there anyone that could explain how an experienced/advanced user in IFS can set this up in Cloud? The explenation in the technical documentation (example with GuitarTab) make me understand it is possible, but it stops there. And our IFS consultants are not to eager to provide a solution :-)Hope the community can nudge me in a good direction.
I created a PM action with a default calendar end date of 12/31/2030 and configured the relevant object properties. I also set the PM_PLAN_HORIZON to 2030. However, even with this setup, the maintenance plan that was generated is not exceeding more than 2027 (specifically it stops at 09/09/2027), despite the calendar and PM_PLAN_HORIZON being set through 2030.I have also refreshed the cache, yet the maintenance plan continues to generate only up to 2027. Could you please confirm if there is anything I may have missed in the configuration? Maintenance triggers:-Default Calendar:-Object Properties:-
Hi All.I have a pm action based on calender and with a due % of 93 in the next due date (maintenance plan), but in General tab, the due % is 1209.I think the system is considering the Maintenance plan line without criteria. The first line the workorder is cancelled.I understand that the system must not consider cancelled orders to calculate the due % in general tab. Does anyone know something about it? please see print bellow. Tks
Hi all,I’m trying to understand the intended usage of Risk Analysis in IFS Cloud (as designed by IFS R&D), specifically in an Asset Management / Maintenance Work Order context.Business requirementIn our maintenance execution process, a risk assessment is a mandatory step before work can start on a Work Order.A typical example is working at height, where a risk assessment must be performed every time the job is executed.Issue 1 – Risk Analysis cannot be created from the related objectFrom a user/process perspective, we need the flow to be: Create Work Order Create Risk Analysis from the Work Order (context-driven) Complete + approve Risk Analysis Only then allow Work Order execution to start However, in IFS Cloud it seems Risk Analysis must be created first and only then linked to the Work Order afterwards. This creates a usability and process problem, because the Work Order is the natural starting point and the risk analysis is an integrated step in the WO workflow.Question:👉
Community,When I am creating Repair work order in below screen RMB function, work order is not automatically connected to its parent work order, in this case #12574, how to automatically make it a child to the work order that is initiated? we are on APP10.
