IFS Cloud 25R1, IFS MwO Maintenance 25.3.1443.0Serial Parts added onto a material line and Reserved on a Work Task.The Work Task is assigned to a Resource and Trasferred to mobile.I am unable to issue the reserved material in the work task using MwO. When I try to Issue the materials for the Work Task on MWO, I get the following message : Part Reservation is not available to Issue. Use Planned Material to issue the part instead. On the Technician Portal , I am able to issue the reserved materials on the the work task. Has anyone faced this issue before ? 

Hi I am trying to activate the fixed asset but value is showing as 0, when I tried to troubleshoot found that the invoice value is getting null for FA account due to same account is getting debited and credited with same value. Please help in resolving this. I have also setup the FAP1,FAP5,FAP2 etc..   

In IFS Cloud 25R2, we are working with Service Requests and Request Work Tasks and have encountered an issue related to the Coordinator field.Currently, the system appears to require a Default Coordinator defined at the user level. If this is not set, we receive an error when generating the Invoice Preview.Our questions are: Where is the Coordinator officially defined and maintained for Service Requests / Request Work Tasks What is the recommended approach if we need to process a Service Request using a different Coordinator than the user’s default if we cannot specify a different other than the default? Any guidance or clarification on standard behavior vs recommended setup would be greatly appreciated.Thanks in advance!

We are in IFS 10 UPD 9.Our Maintenance supervisor added PM Group IDs to all of his PM actions thinking he could use it for sorting.  However, this grouped all of his PM actions into 2 work requests (as designed).He then removed all of the PM Group IDs and attempted Calendar Generation again.The result is the Work Request was cancelled, but no new PMs were created for the month. Is there a way to create the PMs for the month? 

We have a number of Work Task Templates that we have built up in Apps 10.  We recently started having the Asset Management techs using Tech Portal start creating their own work in certain situations.We informed them to utilize these Work Task Templates, specifically because it included the Work Task Steps.  However, when creating new work from the New Work button within the Maintenance Engineer lobby under the equipment section, then adding the Work Task Template.  The resulting work task does not contain any work task steps.Using the same work task templates, and objects, we can create new work from the back-office side of things and it all works exactly as expected.

In IFS Cloud PM Action Journals have following event types.  However we cant get any records under Modified option even though we have modified the PM Action by adding a customer or any other change. What could be the reason for this?   

Community, We realized that customer warranty is not being considered when doing retrospective work reporting SM.  Is it as-designed or a bug?  We are in APP10.

We recently encountered a failed transaction related to a Serial Object ID error, which led us to question how the list of Serial Objects are available for selection in Mobile Work Order is defined in IFS Cloud 24R2.We are trying to locate if this list is maintained or controlled in. Could someone point me in the right direction?

Community,when posting lines generated from work order task that are under customer warranty, in the below screenshot, you can see the column Revene% under Sales tab, according to IFS document stated below, it should be Revenue % = 0. but system still values it 100, is it a bug? We are in APP10.Posting lines are under customer warranty.

Hi all,According to the Documentation ../ifsdoc/documentation/en/Appsrv/frmSystemDef.htm  for IFSApp10 Update 27 it states that there are 3 different statuses: But when saving the record  with status PLANNED I get this error. It would be VERY useful for us having value PLANNED.  Thoughts about this? Have anyone made a customization allowing any other value as Default for Work Task Steps?Thanks.Best RegardsAnna-Lena

Hello every one,I want to use the IFS feature to be able to predicted the value of a counter type parameter to be able to generate ahead of time my condition based preventive WO.I’ve done this simple test :I added some values for my running hour counter :And my PM action plan is updated like this :  Do you know how this calculation work ? From what I understand :There are two calculation method (interpolation and average) : how to choose ?  What is the exact formula used ? I’ve tried to modelise a simple linear regression with my values but I don’t find the same result There is a documentation (PM Plan) but it doesn’t seam up to date : I don’t find the “condition forecast configuration” mentionned in itIt will be mandatory in my current project to have these details to be able to make them validate by the maintenance methods department.Thanks !

Are there any dedicated training regarding Equipment Maintenance Management available? We would like to manage Equipment Calibration in IFS.

Client has a requirement to use SFG20 Maintenance Schedules for Preventive Maintenance on Buildings/Infrastructure.  SFG20 does provide an API for integration.Has anyone implemented this before, preferably in Cloud?

We have a set of manufacturers we need to remove from the system since they are duplicated. (name varies slightly) however these manufactures are connected in different places in the system. (e.g. parts, functional objects etc) we are looking for way to disable these manufactures without running any scripts. does anyone have any experience doing similar work before? Simply we want to disable all the duplicated manufacturers and keep one.

After upgrading from IFS 9 (UPD 16) to IFS Cloud 25R1 SU5, the upgrade was completed in two stages: IFS 9 → IFS 10 IFS 10 → IFS Cloud This approach followed the official IFS upgrade guidelines for migrating IFS 9 customers to IFS Cloud.During verification of the first iteration, an issue was reported. When opening Prepare Work Order or Historical Work Order, the errors shown in the attached screenshots appear.Questions What is the correct setup for Object Connection Transformation in IFS Cloud to allow media attached to a work order to be viewed in Historical Work Orders, and vice versa? If a work order contains multiple tasks, is it possible to configure object connections so that work order media can be viewed within a specific task (for example, the task where Order No. = 0)? When upgrading from Apps 9 to the Cloud, work orders generate work tasks based on several conditions, such as:Availability of operation lines Tool lines Jobs, etc.This applies to both active work orders/routes and historical work orders/routes. Questions on Work Task Generation During Migration from Apps 9 to CloudWhat are all the triggers that control the generation of work tasks? Under what conditions does the system generate a single task versus multiple tasks for work orders (both active and historical)? How are routes converted into work orders during the migration process? 

Hi everyone, We are trying to create serial object with the rental module, but we don’t manage to do it.We have enabled “create SM object” on sales part, but the object is not created when we deliver rental CO lines. Is it possible to create object with this process ? HiI’m seeking input from the community regarding a status synchronization issue between the MWO Maintenance App and IFS Cloud.In the MWO Maintenance App, within Work Task details, all task steps were updated to Done, time was reported, and the Work Task status was moved to Completed. However, when reviewing the same Work Task in IFS Cloud, only a subset of the steps reflects the Done status, while the remaining steps still appear as Not Done. Additionally, the reported time is not fully updated in IFS Cloud.Has anyone encountered a similar discrepancy between the mobile app and IFS Cloud? Any insights on potential causes, sync settings to review, or recommended troubleshooting steps would be greatly appreciated.Thank You

We have a customer that has Serial Parts as Company Owned:  Some of them have outstanding work orders on them but we would like to move them from Company Owned to "Company Rental Asset" and Current Position to "In Inventory" so that they are available to rent to customers.  What are the steps to do this en masse?
