We are using IFS MWo Maintenance app (and not the classic app) for one of the customer. We have created a custom field for barcode on IFS Cloud as well as on MWo app. Each functional object has a unique barcode associated with it. On the MWo app the barcode field is available on work task overview once we click on the ‘My Work’ tile.
The customer we are implementing is into service industry where technician will visit their customer premises and will first scan the barcode affixed on the asset in MWo to filter out the work tasks associated with that specific asset.
Our observation is that on the search functionality @ records in ‘My Work’ tile on the app version 26.4.3723.0 available on IOS app store has scanner icon, where as app version 26.4.3728.0 on android app store doesn't. Due to this we cant scan the barcode on the android device.
Please advice is there is fix or app configuration for latest version 26.4.3728.0 on android as barcode scanning is working on IOS app version 26.4.3723.0
