On what screen in IFS10 can a user find the same functionality that was available on the “Route PM Actions” screen in IFS8? Thanks!

Hi all,I’m running into an issue in which the Serial Object Warranty badge is indicated as ‘No’, however if you select the ellipsis and select Warranty, you will indeed see a Supplier and/or a Customer Warranty has been set-up.  This behavior is visible on the Serial Object as well as the Equipment Object Navigator.Process Steps:Receive Part with a Warranty Template defined (i.e. 1 year) Deliver this part to a Customer with SM Object creation specified on the Sales Part Navigate to either Serial Object or Equipment Object NavigatorHere is issue I see:  Is there something missing from the set-up?Thanks.  

Hi Community,In IFS Cloud 22R1 SU3, the Customer No is not inherited from the Object party when creating a new Work Order on this Object from the “Prepare Work Order” page. Is it a bug or is there a set up missing somewhere ? Thanks

Hello, I can’t reach IFS server in chrome. All needed extensions are downloaded. I tried to uninstall chrome, uninstall and reinstall extensions, cleared cookies, cache and browsing data still nothing happened. In barracuda testing connectivity, everything is going through, but can’t access in chrome.Maybe someone had this problem??

Is it possible to add an administrator group for a PM action? It can be observed that this is possible for both PM Program and Work Task Templates. When going to the PM Planning lobby, there are "My PM Programs" and "My Work Task Templates".  The aim is to see the PM actions, for which a particular maintenance engineer is responsible. 

Hello,I’m wondering if it’s possible to adjust the future due dates on a PM action with Performed Date Based set to Yes without a new work task being created/completed? Every time I try to manually change the due date on a line in the maintenance plan, the system won’t change any future suggestions. We’re running apps 10 update 13.A little background on the specific scenario:The PM generated a work order for 10/5/22, but because it falls during a major outage at the plant, it was decided to skip this instance and perform the maintenance when the unit is back online. The WO for 10/5/22 ended up being cancelled. The major outage will be completed by 12/12/22, so we want to adjust the next due date for this PM to line up with that date. I can manually adjust the due date for the next maintenance plan line and save, but the rest of the due dates don’t adjust. The Earliest Start, Latest Finish, and Remaining to Due fields also remain the same for the original due date. I’ve also tried chang

We are using IFS 10 UPD7 wherein the Inherit Measurement functionality is not available.Since there are some serial objects which are being moved between equipment's and running hours of the serial object is tracked for maintenance, repair and replacement, it is needed to auto update the measurement readings from the parent object. Would like to know is there any patch available to get this functionality in IFS 10 UPD7 version. Thanks in advance,Siva Ganesh M

Hi, I am using IFS Enterprise Explorer. Client vers: 9.0.57.0, Server vers:6.90.20.0 I am a new to the application - with little training, so I am sorry this should be a veryy easy question. I would appreciate some orientation around the ’Structure in Tree’ dropdown options for (I am assuming) ...ordering the Object Hierachy. See the attached picture. I seem to have (by default)... an Object ID ordered Hierarchy. The Dropdown for ‘Structure in Tree’, displays ‘Location’ and ‘Process’ fields (amongst others). I would like to know where these fields are exposed in case I can edit them to display the Hierarchy more intuitivelyI am aware that I could add Structural Parent Objects (and provide Alphanumeric ID codes)  however it seems from the drop down and from other answers in the knowledgebase that options for re-ordering the tree are already available .. I have Serial and Functional Objects, and have been looking in the Serial Object and FUnctional Object Tabs (to the right of the Tree),

Hi All,One of my customer is looking feature in IFS which can be used to conduct Audit on their equipment’s. Asset Audit can be done by internal Auditor or by 3rd Party vendor.Here is a link of an example how usually Asset audits are conducted. Hi,What is the business case when should we copy Project Deliverables Structures to Asset Design, when to Equipment structure? Customer in Cloud.In project deliverables we can copy the project product structure to either Asset Design structure or Equipment structure. This is a parameter setting which one to use. Now I’m wondering when should we choose one or the other? I have understood that from asset design we can copy the structure further to Equipment structure.Anyone knows about this? 

When creating a Retrospective Work Reporting EAM, a Work Type is entered. On the Work Order that is created, the Work Type is blank. Is there a way to automatically have the Work Type added to the Work Order?  The Work Type shows up on the Work Task associated with the Retrospective Work Reporting EAM but my client would like it to also show up on the Work Order record. Thanks,Gregg

Hi,We are fairly new to IFS and still learning. We now have some of our equipment’s that have been disposed off. The Finance Team have processed them to remove from the Service Contracts and Fixed Assets but we are wanting to confirm the best way to remove the Serial Objects.Do we scrap them to remove from Inventory or is there a better Disposal Process to follow to correctly remove these assets as Live Assets in Inventory.Thanks, 

Hi all, We want to use Aurena but it has a lot of errors and functionality missing.   For example: Create a purchase requisition by using the wizard, and without articles, you can not “Connect it” to a work order or a work order task… only Project and ordinary account-dimensions…   Are we the only customer  who is missing this ?

I am using IE to create Lobby Elements for Aurena.  I am trying to create a Lobby Element for Active Work Orders that are 90 days or older.  The Actual Start date field in IE is REAL_S_DATE.The Actual Start Date field in Aurena is RealSDate In IE, on the Data Source Designer, I can set up Condition to beREAL_S_DATE < to_date ('#NOW#', 'YYYY-MM-DD-HH24:MI:SS' ) -90and it works in IE.  If I try to create the Lobby Element for Aurena using the same Data Source, I get an X.  How do I set up the Condition for Aurena?  Does the field name need to be changed to match the one is Aurena?  How do I search for Work Orders that are 90 Days or older on the Active Work Order screen in Aurena?Is this correct? Thanks,Gregg 

Hi All, We are using APPS 8 SP1, In our environment we are using LDAP authentication.While we are using the IFSAPP credential for login to the application, initially we got 3-4 time operation time out after that application login.But the other application users which are authenticate to LDAP, they are not facing any issue.Can any one suggest me, what will the issue of this.

IFS Cloud - I am looking at a request to have a Functional structure and also a Location structure for assets. My pre-conception was that a Location Structure is a different view of the same assets based around a concept of locations. However, this looks to be wrong.  What is the functional purpose and use of a Location structure, that cant be better served utilising the Functional structure , possibly with connections, using map positions etc.  My expectation is that this Location structure will not be visible on MWO as I have not seen it there before.  Any examples of using a Location Structure usefully will be much appreciated.        

Background: A month ago, we updated our MAINT calendar to not skip weekends and holidays.If a monthly PM Action is supposed to be due on the first of a month, but if it was generated prior to the MAINT calendar change, its Maintenance Plan will show some due dates that are on the 2nd or 3rd of a month (if the 1st was a weekend of a holiday).In such a case, I used the “Regenerate Plan” option and the future due dates are all corrected to the first of a month, as expected.What is UNexpected, however, is that PAST maintenance plan entries (with Due Dates that are NOT on the first of a month) are added to the maintenance plan after the REgenerating.For example, the Maintenance Plan tab (prior to REgenerating) had a line with Due Date =1/1/2022 (Saturday), which is good. After I used the “Regenerate Plan” RMB option, in addition to that line, IFS now shows another line under the Maintenance Plan tab with Due Date = 1/3/2022 (Monday), this line unnecessary.Why does it do it? Hello, Whenever I create a PM action, My maintenance Plan does not generate automatically, nor when I click regenerate.I am creating my PM actions with and without a Work Task Template. I can create Work Orders, but if I try to create more than one, it uses the same date range as the first WO.Any insight or suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you, Gen
