In IE, when Concluding a record on the Retrospective Work Reporting - EAM page, the associated Work Order status is Finished.  In Aurena, when performing the same steps, the Associated Work Order Status if WorkDone.  Is there a setting in Aurena that needs to be set up the same as IE to “Finish” the Work Order?

Steps

  1. Create New Retrospective Work Reporting - EAM
  2. Enter Directive
  3. Select Maint Org
  4. Report Time
  5. Conclude Work

IFS APP 10 Update 16

Client Version 10.16.23.0

Server Version 10.14.8.0

Hi Gregg,

Upon concluding a work order in ‘retrospective Work Reporting’ if the auto-authorization is enabled, then the transactions get authorized automatically and if all costs in the task are authorized then work task also get finished. If there are no other open tasks in the work order, then the work order also will finish. If auto-authorization is not enabled, then work task will remain in ‘work done’ state. So please check whether you have enabled Automatic Authorization in system definition.

If it is enabled, change it to FALSE and check. Hope this helps.

Yasanthi

Hi Yasanthi,

The AUTO_AUTH_SIGN is set TRUE in both IE and Aurena

IE

Aurena

Hi @CorGreggB ,

Above functionality mentioned by Yasanthi was introduced from UPD 9 and you should be able to observe WO status getting to status Finish when you click on Conclude Work Order. I tested this with and without AUTO_AUTH_SIGN and when it is TRUE, WO status changed to Finished.

Please open the same Work Order from Prepare Work Order window and check whether all conditions to set a work order to finished status have been met for the work order.

Hi,

Where are these settings found in Aurena?

Thanks,

HI @jdrex ,
In Aurena you can find this setting under System Definitions>Object Properties.

This does not work in aurena for:

Retrospective Work Reporting

work order stays open.  You have to open the work order separately and then conclude it

f you have set up auto authorize in Object Properties then it should work.

This setting is for time transactions:

When I tested having this set to FALSE then when trying to conclude the work in Retrospective Work Reporting the work order only went to work done when I had entered a time report (since this time report needed to be authorized).

But if having the setting as TRUE then the work order will be set ti finish after concluding it even when having a time report on it (since that time report was auto authorized),

So you need to set this up in Object Properties to get the work order to Finish automatically.

You could also try out the Ad hoc Work Reporting assistant that is new in Aurena. This assistant will also let you create and report work after it has been performed.
