Is it possible to configure so that the Work Order Status doesn’t follow the Work Task Status?

Work order status is always connected with task status, you cannot stop progressing work order status while task is progressing as i know. Though you have one option to decide if the work order stay open while a task is set to finish (Finish with task option).

What is the reason you wanted to isolate work order from task ?

I’m curious as well.  I’ve never had anyone ask and was one of the main drivers in the work tasks having control since the Work  Orders are meaningless other than being a container for work tasks.
