Is it possible to add a procurement clause to a no part line on a PR/PO?I don’t see the option “Procurement Clauses...” on the popup menu when I click on a no part line, it is there for Part Lines only. Why would this be the case?

We are new to export licenses. This is for a UK based company. We have a general use license that is about to expire. It is currently connected to hundreds of customer order lines. I know how we could replace the old license with the new license using the Find and Connect Export License but that is one customer order line at a time. Is there a better way to update the connections to a new export license?

Morning, We are doing billing from sales contracts connected to a project. Our client PO is entered into revisions and items, we have found that users are able to close the sales contract before all applications are complete against the revisions and items. As per the standard docs: Complete Sales Contract, it seems this should not be possible. Are we missing some basic setup to prevent this or get a warning?  ThanksSean

Morning All, Since we have upgraded 25r2 we have lost the text under our bookmarks. Many users have not assigned unique icons to their favourites (just 10 stars) is there a setting to bring this back or is this now just the new UI as this seems like a backwards step. I know I can expand to read the text, but if we have the navigator open it is not very user friendly Thanks Sean

When I create a Project Invoice which is related to a Sales Contracts, I don’t have the field “Contract Reference” in the project invoice and it’s not appearing in the UBL when I send in e-invoice. Do you have any idea to have this field please ?

Hello IFS Community,We are currently running 5 environments (including PRD and non-PRD) for our implementation project with 500 users. Recently, we checked Insight Studio and found that our total Database Usage has already exceeded our Database Entitlement (350GB).For additional context, even in environments where we have barely inputted any data, a single environment is already consuming around 80GB.Given this situation, could you please advise on the following points? Environment Impact & Sizing: For those who manage multiple environments, how do you typically manage database entitlements? Is a 350GB pool generally expected to cover 5 environments, or is it common to adjust the contract/environment count? (If you are running 5 environments, we would also be interested to know your contract user count.) Identifying Space Consumption: What are the recommended steps, tools, or system views to identify what is consuming database space (e.g., system logs, attachments, specific table

User is given the respective permission set to be able to see the attachement panel but user is not able to VIEW the attached document. is there any specific grant that allows this?

Over the last three releases, MWM has steadily built out native support for Esri's Utility Network (UN) model — starting with basic visualization, moving into offline support, and now into network tracing. Here's a breakdown of what shipped in each release. The Mobile app build number (MOB version) doesn't map one-to-one with the MWM release, it rolls forward across releases on its own cadence via Service Updates (SUs). Please see the table below for details on when each MOB version is included for each MWM release MOB11 — Foundation: viewing Utility Network data (Office & Mobile)MWM 8.4 introduces foundational Utility Network support for both Office and Mobile: UN layers, AssetGroups, and AssetTypes render on the map with proper symbology and show up correctly in the GIS Layers panel and legend. Users can view AssetGroup/AssetType-specific asset details with friendly attribute names, toggle connectivity, association, and containment relationships between domain and structure assets

We have a 6x4 inch label created in IFS Report Designer with a DataMatrix barcode in the top right corner.  The barcode displays correctly most of the time, but occasionally the barcode is replaced by a black box.  This only happens on the first printed label when we have multiple result keys that are sent to our label printer, and it doesn’t happen every time they print even if the exact same set of labels are printed.  When previewing the label in IFS, it can happen on the first label that is previewed and then everything after will work until we wait around 30 minutes and then again the first label might have the problem.  Has anyone else experienced this or have ideas on what might cause this and how to prevent it from happening? Examples of the bad and good labels:

We have noticed a possible change to the way that concurrent OPs functionality works in Cloud 25R1 compared to Apps 10. The change creates an inefficiency with the shop floor. It is apparently a change from Apps 10 but this might just be people remembering differently. When several OPs are selected on SFW and Start Production is clicked, a clocking is started for both OPs with one clocking seq ID.Then, in the same work center, another two OPs are selected and Start Production is clicked again. On the message that pops up regarding concurrent OPs, if you select run in parallel, Cloud stops this and the error message says “Overlapping clocking sequences are not allowed when more than one operation is connected to the sequence”. If you choose the replace option, the clocking is stopped and a new clocking seq started, this is not a problem. The error message is only when you want to run the two sequences in parallel.Has anyone else noticed this and how did you resolve it. Is it a bug or has

Hi,I need to send the Invoice Report to a specific email address using the Print Dialog, as shown below.I receive an email as shown below. As a solution, I created a new Event Action under the PDF_REPORT_CREATED event. I need to know how to map the email address entered in the Print Dialog to the Event Action so that the report is sent to the specified email address.Has anyone implemented something similar or know how the email address from the Print Dialog can be accessed/mapped to the PDF_REPORT_CREATED event?Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks!

A Day Type was created to allow for ½ hour lunch period that is not auto-deducted. The intent is that Employees are required to clock in and out for lunch and that ½ hour would be counted towads time if they did not. It also allows the expected start time and end time of the scheduled day to display correctly.   The result is that the ½ hour extra time between two normal time periods is not counted. Only the extra time before the start of the normal time period at 7am and the end of the normal time period at 3:30pm are counted if the Employee clocks in at 7am and out at 4pm yielding 8.5 hours instead of the expected 9 hours of reported time. Why is the extra time from 11- 11:30 not included?

Does anyone know how to split supplier allocation in IFS? If I want to give 50% of the volume to one supplier and 50% to another, what needs to change in IFS? how does it behave? Thanks!

Currently based on supported planforms https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/26r1/080_supported_platforms/#middle_tier_server kubernetes 1.34 is the highest supported by ifs. And this version is delivered together with the IFS remote deployment solution. This Kubernetes version 1.34 is soon to be unsupported. Okt 2026When can we expect to get a newer supported version of kubernetes delivered?Kjell Åge

Hi,During an investigation, I came across a scenario where a Customer Order was created for a Phantom Part, and a Shop Order was also manually created for the same Phantom Part. Both orders were connected to a Project. After executing PMRP, I noticed that an MRP Action Proposal was generated with the message "Need Orders".What I find confusing is that the manually created Shop Order has a finish date earlier than the Customer Order need date, meaning it should be able to satisfy the demand. However, the MRP Action Proposal still indicates "Need Orders".Is this because the supply from the Phantom Part Shop Order itself is not considered by PMRP/MRP? I can see that supply has been generated for the component parts beneath the Phantom Part structure, which suggests that the Phantom Part is being exploded and planned at the component level. My question is: Why does the MRP Action Proposal display the message "Need Orders" even though there is a Shop Order for the Phantom Part that appears c

Hi IFS ExpertWe would like to improve the Group data by default to all the user of the GL Balance Analysis. Hi All, Can anyone help me with the step-by-step configuration of “single sign on” (SSO) using LDAP in IFS10?Customer wants to configure SSO using ADFS for Windows Server 2019. Thanks,Kesavan.

We would like to inform you of an upcoming platform change relating to the retirement of the current NGINX‑based ingress controller, 3rd party software that is used within our Kubernetes environments. This update is part of our ongoing work to ensure the platform remains secure, reliable, and aligned with industry‑standard technologies. Why is this change happeningThe upstream NGINX ingress controller is reaching end‑of‑life and will no longer receive regular updates from March 2026. While the solution has been stable and widely used for many years, its retirement means that ongoing updates will stop. It’s important to emphasize:There is no immediate customer action. NGINX ingress has been long‑established and dependable. In line with best practice, the Kubernetes cluster and therefore the Ingress should be deployed behind network‑level protections (e.g., firewalls and application gateways), further reducing exposure. However, to maintain long‑term security, supportability, and complianc

I am writing to seek clarification regarding the database update scripts described in the [IFS Cloud 26R1 Technical Documentation](https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/26r1/060_development/027_base_server_dev/007_concepts/200_upgrade_scripts/).While the documentation outlines the use of traditional script files such as `.INS`, `.CDB`, and `.UPG`, we have noticed the introduction and increasing use of database update scripts designed for online updates.(https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/26r1/060_development/027_base_server_dev/007_concepts/250_online_upgrades/)In light of this transition, we would appreciate your guidance on the following points:1. **Deprecation Status:** Are traditional database update script files (`.INS`, `.CDB`, `.UPG`) planned for deprecation in future releases, or will they continue to be supported?2. **Coexistence and Deployment:** If a deployment package contains both traditional update files and online update scripts, will both types of scripts be properly applied without

Background:From the beginning of IFS Cloud (in Aurena ) , there were concerns of not being able to upload multiple document files into the Attachment section of a single Business Object. Having understood the requirements around the user experience, a fix has been delivered to all IFS Cloud tracks except 21R1 version.RnD Solution:The possibility to call “Create Documents”  was brought back when standing on an Attachment section of a business object. “Create Documents” page supports to Drag/Drop or Select single or multiple files and crate document accordingly attaching to the respective business object. This is handled by adjusting the  Document Default Value for “ATTACH_CREATE_NEW_FORM”  in the Document Management Basic Data setting.( Document Management > Basic Data > Document Default Values > ATTACH_CREATE_NEW_FORM)NOTE: It is still possible to set either “Create Documents” for multiple uploads or “Create Document Assistant” for a single upload as it was existed previously.

Why is an on prem gateway necessary for the connection between ADLS Parquet datasets and the end user’s Power BI instance?

After upgrade to 24R1 i receive this information toaster message occasionally. I always get them when i log in, and then approximately one time each 10 minute. Message says “Unable to subscribe to notifications. You will not receive new notifications”. However i do still receive notifications. This issue is from a customer environment, and i have not seen it in other environments on 24R1. At least some other users have the same issue. Any ideas on why i get this message?
