How to activate mobile user?

Hi,maybe someone can consult what actions should be done to activate mobile user?:In is not allowed to activate it manually. The field is inactive when switching on the function to edit data.

Failed Transaction - ServiceEngApp - Undefined bind variable 'OBJ_VERSION'

Hi All, Since yesterday we discovered that we are getting failed transactions when we are updating the status of the Work Assignments to any value like accepted or started. The error message is: "Undefined bind variable 'OBJ_VERSION'”We don't know why this is happening and how we can solve it.We were experimenting with Custom Pages and Custom entities to sync it to the MWO, so we reverted all changes once we discovered failed transactions are appearing. So the Page Design, Navigator Design and the Projection for ServiceEngApp are all standard again. However we can't be sure that this error is due to our experiment.Is there anyone who tell is what we should and whether this has been seen before?Extra informationThis is happening for multiple users. Creating Time Transactions is still possible from MWO and updating the description of the Work Task also get's synchronized. It really seems to happen on status updates of the Work Assignment.

MWO App Classic crashing under iOS

Hi all, a few colleagues reported crashes of the MWO App classic on iOS when trying to complete a Work Task visit and starting the Service Report signature.One example is from an iPhone 16, iOS 18.5 and Client version 25.4.1460.0Are problems known? Time Types and Resource Groups in MWO App

Hi all, I have a problem with time types and resource groups in IFS Cloud / MWO App.The Situation is, that we have one Resource Group, which contains all other Resource Groups of our different entities.The Reason is, that all resources need to be able to enter the time types in the MWO App independent on where they are in the world and which entity planned them. Now I have the problem, that not always the correct resource group is selectable in the MWO App. Sometimes its there and sometimes not. Independent of Task or Bundle Task or in which entity the resource is employed.For example 2 resources from the US, both working an Request Work Tasks, both identically set up.One can select the correct Time Types and one cant.Has anyone ever had similar issues?Thanks,Chris

how to set ApplyConstraints : false for a Task in a request?

I try to assign a resource (belonging to the same company, site, resource groups etc.) via API-Calls to a task in a request. Unfortinately I can’t set application constraints to false to set a resource to this task? New List is not visible in IFS MWO Service Eng App

Hi All,I have Customized ServiceEngApp and added  a new list to visible in IFS MWO Service Eng app, but it’s not visible there. Can E-Forms created in test environments be transferred into Live

Good Afternoon,I have created three E-Forms in IFS 10 Aurena using our DEV testing environment.Is there any way to export this from DEV and import it into our Live IFS 10 environment, or will I need to create this again from scratch in Live?Any feedback would be much appreciated.

Synchronising EE Work Order Number to MWO Apps 10

When we raise a work order in MWO it creates a temporary work order number, Originating System Id in the work order general tab on the EE work order,  which when synced to EE converts to a standard work order number.  The system will replace this originating system id on the tablet with the EE work order number but it is not consistent. Does anyone know what task synchronises these such that the originating system id in the tablet changes to the EE work order?The photo shows what appears on the tablet. Both work orders were raised on the tablet and one has converted the other hasn’t.Thanks very much Richard

Attachments not Syncing to MWO Application

Hi All, I am facing an issue with syncing attachments to the MWO application in real time.For example, when a back-office user adds an attachment to a Request Work Task from the web client application, it does not sync immediately to the technician’s MWO application. The technician has to either wait for the next sync interval or reinitialize the app to receive the document.I noticed that the Sync Rules under ‘Document Management’ security group are all set to the Batch delivery method.How can I configure it so that documents sync in real time?Is there any alternate baseline OOTB solution available to send a particular attachment immediately to the technician?I am using IFS Cloud 24R2 environment.Thanks in Advance. Regards,Sandya S

mWO: Configured Workflow configuration- Actions not available

Hello, When we use mwo Configured workflow configuration, we have noticed that some of the actions (such as Event log, Service book etc.) are not available as ‘Action flow’ actions.  Those actions can be enabled from the ‘Actions’ tab.  Since it cannot be added to the Action flow list, the flow cannot be streamlined.  Only option is adding ‘TASK_ACTIONS’ to the action flow and ask the users to select the relevant action and process.  Any reason for not them to be included in the Action Flow tab?   Thanks!\Nethmi

IFS Business Reporter

How do I configure IFS Business Reporter so that the generated Excel file can be refreshed and used repeatedly? Unfortunately, in my case, once the Excel file is generated and saved to a local or network drive, it fails to connect to the database and retrieve updated data in subsequent cycles. Has anyone experienced this and can help me?

Method not found, Sync Failed in IFS MWO

Hi All, I have added new assistance by customizing ‘QuotHandling’ standard pages. This new assistance is based on my new customised entity (CPartOrder), when I am finishing the assistance,the data is transferring to the database correctly but I am getting an error in Sync Monitor transaction section.Error Message Assistant The problem is I don’t have any method called ‘SaveCPartOrder’, Can anyone tell me why is this error occurring and what I need to do to avoid this? Updating object field via MWO Service App

Hello,In the MWO Service app, is there a way for a technician (when assigned or transferred a request work task) to directly update specific attributes on the Actual Object record (e.g., software/firmware version) so that these updates persist and are visible on any future work tasks created for that same object?The goal is to have the updated object details automatically available to other technicians who may be dispatched to the same asset in the future on other work tasks, without having to re-enter the information or informing them of the last recorded version to let them know if they need to update accordingly.I attempted to achieve this via Test Points/Parameters, but there seem to be restrictions on the parameter types that can be used, which limits capturing certain types of data.Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

MWO Customization- New Page

Hi,I’m trying to add a new page into MWO Maintenance application. Is this technically possible? Right now I have created a new page and added it in the Aurena native apps navigator.  I tried refreshing the cache and initializing the sync, but, this screen is not visible in the MWO.  I tried adding a custom field in the object screen which seems to work fine. Kindly let me know is there any way to achieve this? Thanks in advance.

Work Order costs when a linked PO has a change order applied

Hello, I’m hoping someone can tell me what the expected behaviour is for this functionality in IFS Cloud (24R2/25R1). Scenario:Create a work order and work task. Generate a Maintenance Purchase Requisition from the work task. Convert the requisition to PO. The costs log to Cost tab on the Work Task.Now apply a change order to the PO changing either the price or quantity of the item being purchased. Symptom:The changed price/qty from the PO line does not update the costs on the Work Task.  Question:Should changes on the PO be sending that cost back to the work task? If not, how do we then handle invoicing of Sales lines from the Work Task using Markup%(Cost +). The values will be incorrect.

Report Times and Expenses for future dates

Hi all, is it possible to enable the reporting of times and expenses in the MWO App for future dates?As our technicians usually have Friday as travel day, they finish work and get the signature on the protocol on Thursday.Because the travel time and the mileage (expense) cant be entered for the next day, we have to work around.There is the possibility to add return travel in the Report In window, but this leads to an error and makes it impossible to complete the visit.I guess, this is because the return travel is booked as a Work Task Clocking, but we are using the NGSM with Requests / Request Work Tasks.The easiest solution would be to make it possible to enable future reportings. That would eliminate all problems regarding this topic. Thanks,Chris

Edit Object Connections

My customer is in IFS Cloud. In the Edit Object Connection section. I am putting the Connected Services in sequence order that I would like for them to display. I slect the Check Mark/OK. As you can see in the second screen shot it is not in sequence as I selected.

Manage resource using Dispatch console between two sites

Hello,We have an issue with a customer who uses the dispatch console.The customer have two sites, A and B.Employees at site A can work on site B Work Orders and vice versa.We are considering creating one employee for each of the two sites, but we have 2 dispatch console : Site A dispatch console and Site B dispatch console.When an employee is assigned from the site A dispatch console, the system does not indicate in the site B dispatch console that the employee is not available, so it is possible to reassign the same employee at the same time in the site B dispatch console. Do you have any ideas on how to resolve this issue?Thanks in advance,

Force a Return from IFS MWO Service app for Completed Tasks

Hello,We currently have an issue where our IFS MWO Service app users are not returning their tasks from their mobile, they keep them in their Completed tasks tile which is storing 10-100+ tasks on their app.Is there a way to pull these tasks from their device as it’s causing issues with being able to close off the request/task?Thanks!

Work Orders are not getting assigned immediately to app users

I'm hoping to get some insights from the community here. We're encountering random delays between the time a work order is assigned and when it's actually received on the service engineer's mobile app. These delays are inconsistent and can vary quite a bit.We've already tried several recommended troubleshooting steps, including:Increasing server resources Reconfiguring settings with higher max pool sizesUnfortunately, none of these have resolved the issue so far.We know that downloads only happen when the device is connected to data and powered on, and I can confirm that all these conditions are met—yet the delays persist.Has anyone else experienced something similar with Apps 10 UPD17? If so, what solutions or workarounds did you find that helped? Any advice or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated!Thanks in advance!
