We have 1200 Task Cards for a prototype work that we want to revise and update. Those Task Cards may have up to 20 subtasks. We have a problem that the Task Card ID it self now has the prototype ID in it. So we want to edit this text.In addition we want to be able to make revisions  of a Task Card for other reasons also. The only way we’ve found to edit the Task Card ID is to duplicate the Task Card, leaving us with an almost empty Task Card, where we need to manually add all requirements, sign-offs and subtasks. And if we try to edit the Task Card, we aren’t allowed to edit the Task Card ID (understandable) or the Task Card Revision (?). We can change the Revision Date, but not the revision number. Are there any standard way to revise a Task Card, giving us a new Task Card with a new Revision Number? Hello,In earlier versions of IFS, it would prevent you from cancelling or incompleting work assignments in IFS, IF they existed on the engineers device (IFS MWO). This logic has been changed in IFS Cloud, and the functionality is now possible. However this then creates more issues in that we receive lots of failed transactions on a daily basis due to back office cancelling assignments when they are still on the IFS MWO app. Since IFS are unlikely to reverse the logic to enforce the validation again, I was wondering if anyone can provide guidance on the logic required to create our own custom event to prevent cancellation/incomplete in IFS Cloud, IF the assignment is still transferred to the engineer? ThanksShaun

Hi,We are using IFS Cloud notify me application, we found one issue regarding data synchorization. In IFS Cloud we don’t have open purchase requisiton lines to be approved, but in Notify me some authorized purchase order lines are still being showed. I reinstalled Notify me application and refresh the cache but both didn’t work.Anyone has the same experience and how can I fix the issue?Thanks.

Why does mwo only shows my first created sales part in the offline db of mwo?  “Item 5000”.I made a duplicate sales part from item “5000” named “7000” and that part is only online available. Hi In the MWO Service App (Version:26.1.3375.0), the customer contact’s mobile number is not displayed, only office phone is displayed on the Work Task Details page, even though it is maintained in the Customer Master.Any guidance from the community would be greatly appreciated to help determine whether this behavior is expected by system design, or driven by configuration, or a known defect. Thank You

Hi All,I tried to use region structure (parent and child) functionality to allocate resources to different regions.  I thought if I add a resource to a parent region he will be visible in dispatch console when we filter for a child region as well. However, a resource can only be seen when we filter with that specific region only. I saw that region structure works in PSO and selection rules for contractors. Isn’t it working in dispatch console?TIA.

We have scheduled the Generate Rental Transaction task daily, Which create a Transaction on daily basis and insert 1 Cost/Sales line daily.Is it possible to aggregate the Qty on 1 Sales line rather than creating a line on with QTY 1 daily?

As I see in the rental functionality, We could not change the Start Rental or End Rental date in Rental Event History. Is there any possibility to make it editable and what would be the effect on financial posting if we make it happen as Rental Transactions are created daily in the system.

Hello,does anyone know how to change language interface of the MWO? We use IFS APP10 together with MWO Service 10. I have a german operating system language and would like to change user interface language of MWO to english. I have changed my profile language for IFS IEE and over aurena browser interface from german to english, but MWO interface remains german.

Within the Workflow Configuration the fuction of “Mandatory” for Attachments seems to be not working.Expected results is when a workflow has select of “Mandatory” for attachments the Request should not be allowed to finish without an attachment.  

  Hi All, I have an issue with adding Fixed Price sales parts to invoice preview after I adding them to a request scope.I’m using a fixed price price rule where everything related to request work task is charged with a fixed price sales part. Then, I need to add some additional sales parts to the scope via “Price Details” option in the request’s “Cost & Sales”.  However,  added sales parts are not appeared in the invoice preview. I tried with a different price rule and tried with adding sales parts in both Actual and Planning fixed prices. But, cannot get sales parts to invoice preview. Hello,In IFS Cloud 25R1 while creating a price rule within service management module, we are able to include the cost type for a certain type only once in the rule. For example: If a material cost type is included for a sales part and if we try to include a second material cost type for another sales part, the system throws an errors stating that ‘Price rule line already exists’. Customers have requirements to enter more than one entry for a specific cost type. Is this a bug or intended feature? Please let me know. 

Hello, I can’t find a way into the Page Designer to unabled the edition of the column in Pre Posting table from is own pop-up in the PREPARE WORK ORDER window. This part don’t show the column :   I’d like to do the same on  Task Pre Posting.  Thank for any help. Barth

I am using the IFS MWO Service Classic App for Windows. When I press the button “Map position” for a specific task, the browser opens with the URL in the formathttps://www.bing.com/maps?sp=point.48.50457_9.16469_Location&lvl=16&cp=49.465179%7E11.020507&style=r But, this does not work for me. It does not center the map and I don’t get any pin. It would work for me if the URL is given in this form:https://www.bing.com/maps?q=48.50457,9.16469 Is this a bug, windows specific or can I adjust the format of the URL by myself? 

Hi Community.  We are using Apps 10, UPD9 and have run into an issue with repair orders and i am hoping that someone may know of a solution.  If we use the “Create Repair Order Assistant” this process allows you to define a Serial Object, a Workshop and will set up the work tasks, material requisition and return lines required to receive a part, have it worked on in the workshop and then re-issued into the object structure.  We are looking into the functionality of using the “Turn into Repair Order” which is available on the Prepare Work Order screen.  This asks us for the repair workshop but doenst create any work tasks, materials or returns lines to facilitate the move.  This function also takes the serial object and moves it directly to the workshop (without us returning and issuing) The issue we have identified with this, is that we can now not remove those parts from the Workshop object.  We cannot issue them, return them,

Hi,we are currently deploying IFS Scan It on Zebra Android devices (Android 14+) in a shared-device environment managed via SOTI MobiControl. We have identified a critical technical issue during the FIDO2/NFC authentication flow that prevent a successful rollout:When IFS Scan It initiates an authentication request for a FIDO2 security key (USB), the Android Credential Manager provides the user with the option to create a local screen lock or a device-bound Passkey: In our shared-device environment, it is critical that users do not have the option to set private PINs or Passkeys on shared hardware. This leads to accidental lockouts and high administrative overhead. We have already encountered the issue of some users setting a PIN on shared devices. Could you kindly confirm whether there is a plan to fix this issue?

Hi,We noticed that we cannot login into TouchApps using our local admin accounts. But end users can access it without any issues. below error occurred when we try to log in.  any suggestions to fix this?

Hi All,We’re seeing some pretty severe performance hits with our Zebra Handhelds since upgrading from Apps 10 to IFS Cloud.These devices are android based and using the scanit app.It appears that if the scanner sits for 48 hours, when it is used again the WaDaCo actions take about 15-18 seconds to respond (each scan or “click”).Our fix is to reimage the device. It then works fine until they go unused again. Then they slow down.These things were rock solid in Apps 10. So this is a bad look for us with the upgrade.Any advice is greatly appreciated.Thanks,Mike  

Hi All,When we have an Incompleted assignment in a request work task, the request work task cannot be transferred to “Work Done” status automatically even after we completed a different assignment with the same resource. We can mannually change the request work task status at from the header.Is this the built functionality?  TIA.

Hello Experts,We are currently working on IFS 24R1 and have encountered an issue in Request Management → Work Task, specifically under the Material tab when using the Reserve/Unreserve → Reserve option [Service Management → Request Management → Request Task Handling → Request Work Task → Material Tab → Reserve/Unreserve → Reserve].Although the required part is available in one of the warehouses linked to the Site, the system does not allow reservation from this warehouse if it is not the same remote warehouse as specified on the Work Task. It throws an error and restricts reservation unless the part is available in that exact remote warehouse.However, I am able to reserve the same part using the Reserve Manually option under the same menu path. Hello,I am looking for a setting that we may have missed in IFS CLOUD for a feature that we had in IFS V8.In V8, when creating a new Work Order, Pre Postings are not populated, but they are automatically populated when connecting to a project.In IFS CLOUD, Pre Postings are not populated when connecting to a project.However, if we add a task to a Work Order, it inherits Pre Postings in a fully automated manner.It seems that the activity sequence that does not automatically integrate into the Pre Posting line when connecting to the project is missing.How can I have Pre Posting automatically populated when connecting to the project?Thank you in advance.Barth
