We have received requests from field users to increase the answer space available for eForms in MWO. When reviewing the configuration, we found that the eForm question types do not include any option to adjust the size of the answer field.
While researching this, we found the following references confirming this as a known limitation (note both posts are approximately 3 years old):
IFS confirms that displaying a multi-line statement/answer is not currently possible and suggests submitting it as an Idea for a future release.

This describes a related limitation where the Answer field length differs between the entity used in IFS Cloud (4000 characters) and the entity synced to mobile, IFS Cloud (2000 characters) for Open-ended questions.
