Dear All, we want to use the Excel Addin as Transport Tool to Create or Update Customer Order / Sales Quotation Lines. Now when we use the Excel Add In we have to do the following Steps:1.Open Excel 2 .Open Excel Addin and Login 3. Choose the Migration Job 4. A Popup Window if we want to Load in Same Sheet or in a new SheetWith these 4 Steps we have then the data entry Colums and van work with Search, Validation an Execution.We want to get rid of the Steps 3 and 4. Furthermore we want to Save an Excel with the alrady loaded Data Entry Colums and already Choosen Data Migration Job. Has anybody an idea if it it possible to do so? As an Alternative we would like to Automate the steps.Any Ideas? Thanks Stefan

LOV key filter another entity

Hello Community,I’m still a beginner with IFS Cloud, and I need your help with the page designer. For reference, we are using version 24R1.I am trying to add a LOV (List of Values) in an IFS table to display related data. Specifically, on the Sub Contract Indemnities screen, I’d like to display the lines for Revision and Items.To do this, I created a persistent field in the IndemnityRequest entity. However, when I try to access the values in the page configuration, I cannot retrieve the data I need, such as the keys that would allow me to filter values. Interestingly, if I concatenate the keys in the displayed values, I can access them.The issue is that from this point, I don’t know how to use them because I’m unsure if there are any functions available to extract substrings based on a character separator and position.Do you have any tips?Either a way to get the fields required to set up the Data Source Aggregate Refs. Or a method to extract concatenated substrings.Thank you in advance

Updating Project Connections

Hi we frequently run into issues when we need to update a project connection; once a customer order is already released due to this error message.Has anyone found a way to making changes to get around this error message?.The need to update is due to the wrong activity having been selected by the user in error.

Consolidated Price based on Total Quantity ordered on Sales Quotes and Customer Orders

In IFS Procurement in Apps10, where Min Qty based SFPP Price List Lines exist, there is an RMB option to select Consolidate Price Calculation on the PO header. So where the total quantity of a Part across multiple PO Lines reaches the next Min Quantity, IFS will enter/ this unit price across all lines (basing the price on the total quantity order of a Part on a PO, not the quantity at line level). Is there a similar facility on Sales Quotations and Customer Orders that achieves the same result, i.e. sets the sales price based on the total quantity of the part that exists on the same quote/order, but across multiple lines? I know Agreements and Sales Price List Lines can have different min quantities and prices for the same part, however surely there is a facility to base Customer pricing based on the consolidated quantity per Quote or Order ?

Mass issue inventory par from project materiels and services

Hi Community, I have a question regarding the project module. On the materials and services screen, I have some misc parts that I will supply using MRP. Once the reservation of the parts done, is there any option to do issue in mass all the parts ? It seems that the option is only available for each line individually. There is a possibility to create a project pick list but it seems to be a report and not linked to any logistic process. Any idea or suggestion regarding this process ? Thanks,

Document offloading from FTP to Azure Blob storage

Hi ,As part of the cloud migration project from App9 to IFS Cloud, we need to know how to transfer documents from APP9 FTP to Cloud Azure Blob.Currently, documents are stored on FTP, and we hope to move them to Cloud Azure Blob.We recently updated 24R1 to our Cloud environment, therefore FTP will no longer be supported in the future, so we'd need to know how to migrate the document from FTP to Azure Blob Storage.Is there anyone who has done this before? We are an IFS managed cloud customer, and we want to know if this is doable. Sales Contract Planned Revenue Issue

Dear Colleagues,I encountered an issue with Sales Contract reporting Planned Revenue. There are 4 contracts and only one does not report Planned Revenue. The settings are the same - posting rules, Revenue Codes, definiton of items, etc. TEST is the last one which I created from the scratch with the same settings as W-0002. The prerequistions for reporting Planned Revenue seem to be fullfilled: Any ideas for further checking are very welcome :)Thanks in advance.

Cloud Material Transfer Requisition can only Release one line at a time

In Apps 10 IEE a user can select multiple Material Transfer Requisition Lines and the Release command is available to process them all of them at once. In Cloud 23R2 we are finding that with one selected, the Release command is available. However if the user selects multiple lines, the Release command goes away. We made sure the lines selected are all in Planned status which is a pre-req to be able to release. Is this by design, or is this a bug?Thanks!

23R1 issue with Exporting quick report via scheduled report

Hello,(We are on 23R1.6 in our environments.) We have a quick report that pulls invoice data, we can export this data from the quick report page, completely fine. We encounter no issues and the excel formatting is perfect. The issue we are encountering though, is when scheduling this report via scheduled reports, and having it emailed to our users, we notice that the method used to export the data onto an excel sheet adds an extra space and a new line character before the field values for all columns/rows. We cannot fix this on our end since these characters are added after the data is pulled from the quick report. Has anyone else encountered this issue? Thanks,Bryan

Export Control License required for only one country.

Is there a way to set the export control on a part so that a license is required, but only if the customer/enduser is in a certain country? All other countries do not require a license for export.

Passing non-string values for ExecuteAction

The title refers to ExecuteAction, but this is also relevant for ExecuteWorkflow and any command created from the page designer that maps parameters.We have a projection action that takes a boolean flag argument, and in this case we want to invoke it from a page with a constant value for this flag, but every attempt at doing so is interpreted as a string and yields an ODP_DESERIALIZATION_ERROR, stating a mismatch between the expected boolean and the received string. I have tried sending expressions (a feature already known to work for toggling page booleans such as element visibility) but these, too, are interpreted as string literals.Is there a way to pass non-string literals (or cast from number to string or vice-versa; we had to do this for some navigation items, and were able to cast numbers to strings with ‘${NumericVariable}’, single quotes included, but don’t know the other way around) in parameters mappings for commands, or are we simply out of luck here?

Automate Matching of Customer Payments

We have a request from The Business to automate matching of invoices for Customer Checks - to match against the oldest ones first, or if it matches a months invoices (as the oldest one is in query) as a proposal before the payment is posted against the invoices.I can see many functional issues with this - but at the moment I’m tasked with looking into the technical feasibility. Hi all,Is it possible to set up a message in the notification bar triggered by specific actions for notifying personnel when they get tasks assigned in the HSEQ module? Since the customer finds emails ineffective. This doesn’t have to be limited to HSEQ; it’s fine if it applies to other modules as well in App10. Example:When a user is marked as responsible role and the next to act in the process flow, they must perform their task for the flow to proceed. Reducing Required Material on Work Orders

I need some help understanding the best way to handle something that is causing many issues. Scenario:Team place an Order for Qty 10 x KeysOrder is placed from Work Order Requisition and Converted to a POPO is placed with SupplierBefore delivery, it is noted that we now only require Qty 6 x KeysPO Change Order is done to reduce Order Qty to 6 and Supplier Updated.Work Order Requisition still shows Purchase Qty as 10Work Order Required Materials still shows Qty 10Qty 6 x Keys delivered by SupplierReceipted and Issued to Work OrderRequired vs Issued shows difference of 4Planned Costs vs Actual shows the value difference of 4 How do we handle this so that the Work Order Requisition and Material Line Qty’s are reduced to the qty in the Purchase Order? We cannot change the Required Qty in the Material once the PO is created and we cannot Cancel the PO as it has been satisfied? What would be the best way to handle this? Inventory Locations Hidden checkbox

Hi!Anyone know how to use this Hidden checkbox on Inventory Locations.Every time i try to press the button nothing happends with the checkbox.i dont see any RMB either to set the location to “Hidden” the help text says:If this check box is selected, it indicates that the specified location has been set as hidden and therefore will not be displayed in the warehouse navigator. This is usually done for locations that are considered obsolete.

Costing Parameter - Help documentation is not complete

I just created a new site in our IFS 10 environment.When checking the basic data in costing, I found, that UPD 21 has several new Costing parameters . Can't close a Project Activity

Hi,We’re running on IFS CLoud 24.1.4. Accounting is trying to close an old project which dates back from 2018, but are having issues due to project transactions which are not posted. The transactions in question are shown below, they’re time entered by employees working in another company (multicompany transactions). I’ve tried the “transfer project cost accounting transactions” and “update gl vouchers” to no avail. Any advice would be appreciated.
