We’re working through a Cloud upgrade with a remote deployment. I’m running into a lot of performance issues, and I’d like to explore using different antimalware solutions, different public clouds, and different on-prem hardware. Whenever I copy our production database somewhere, though, it creates a significant business risk, so I need a full-sized copy of our system that has been made safe enough to use for this exploratory purpose. I need to mask or sanitize our entire database to reduce or eliminate the risk of our business data getting compromised. Question 1: Has anyone scrubbed a database like this? How did you do it? There’s a pack available for Oracle Database Enterprise Edition called the Data Masking and Subsetting Pack. I saw that it needs to be licensed for the source database, or in this case our PROD 9 database. Question 2: Does this pack need to be licensed for every user or just the IT users who are working in the sanitized environment? Even if I can manage to mask all

Crystal Report Runtime Error

When running a crystal report as a quick report, I am getting the following error: Error loading database connector. The class 'com.crystaldecisions.reports.queryengine.driverImpl.DriverLoader' could not be accessed. I have followed the documentation on creating / modifying the report, but i am not at a loss I have the CR_WEB_INIT procedure added to the report and this is the only report that is getting this error. Am i missing something?we are running IFS Cloud 23R2 with IFS Hosting.

Reimbursable Entertainment on Employee Expenses

Good Afternoon Community. I hope that someone is able to jhelp me with this.I am setting up and testing Expense rules in Cloud 22 R2. I have set up Entertaining rules for non-staff flagged as reimbursable. The expenses line states reimbursable, but the amount claimed is excluded from the total - see example below Gross amount = 579 GBP, Reimbursable amount = 429 GBP. I have included the guest information.Have I missed some other set up?

Message of type 'APPLICATIONMESSAGE' has no condition rules, part 2

In below issue, is discussed whether the routing logic really works as it should:When I look into the code, I find some strange logic in Plsqlap_Server_API.Find_Queue___. The function Get_Content_Only_Cond_Cnt doesn’t work as it should. It will never find anything due to incorrect first join. Below statement if from 24R1:To me, correct statement would be as below. Then, routing rules without any conditions will be found. It will also mean that the other routing rules logic in total will work as expected 😊 It means that you can setup any valid data and route it accordingly. Below setup on customer, which means that you can choose any of below choices at the time of sending the invoice: Route in IFS Connect according to your setup on customer: So, I would guess that this is a bug. Please let me know if I have erred in my assumptions.

Potential Bug in DMM - 24R2 - Load Legacy Data from Server

In DMM, I’m trying to load a file from Server and getting the following error. When loading the identical file On Client, everything succeeds so I’m assuming there is a bug in DMM in 24R2. This is the error returned when loading from On Server:Unable to Start LOAD_LEGACY_SER_FILE - ORA20110: DatLegacyDataUtil. LOADFILEERR: Legacy file load error. ORA20110: DatServerFile. NOTABEXT: External Table not created. ORA20110 DatServerFile NOTAB: Table not created: ORA00911: invalid characterTried loading a file with *.csv extension and no extension and the same error incurs. Bug? Me thinks so.

Query regarding missing fields in the Change Order window

I have a query regarding the Change Order window.There is no field to check the Performed Date and Completed Date for an Engineering Change Order. Below is where the CO Approved Date and Analyzed Date can be checked. We need to know where the Performed Date and Completed Date can be found.Could you please suggest or advise on this issue?

Availability Planning - no data found

Good morning,I have IFS App 10 and I created new permission set to grant permission to: Human Resource > Time Management > Schedules and Rules > Availability > Availability Planning. User with this permission can access to Availability Planning but when he search for employee he gets message “No data found” which is no true. I suppose that there is permission which I missed but I have no idea where to looking for. Could you help me wtih that?Thanks in advance

How to Add a Search Bar to the Product List Screen in Mobile Environment?

I want to add a search bar at the top of the product list screen in the mobile environment, similar to the configuration available on the customer screen. However, since the product list is a list-type screen, I am unable to add an extra field to this screen.Is there a way to add a filter or search functionality to a list-type screen? Business Rule - Multiple Lines

I have a validation business rule that ensures a warehouse code is entered when the status changes from “COMPLETED-REVIEW” to “COMPLETED”. It usually works with a single line code , but when there are multiple lines, the behavior becomes inconsistent depending on the placement. Do you have an idea what could be causing this issue?

How to add external link with parameter to the command group of a page in IFS Cloud?

I want to add external links to the command group in IFS Cloud. But I need to add parameters to the link to filter. For example, I have a link to navigate an external web page and it requires Order No parameters from the page because I need to go to a specific order. So my link should be something like “something.com/page?$filter=OrderNo%20eq%20’S123456’” like in the element designer. I know that external links can be added from the “External Navigation Link” but i can’t give parameters from here. Is there a way to do this in IFS Cloud?

IFS Cloud 24R1- No Default Object Key on Change Request (Object Connections)

Hello,We are on 24R1 and I enabled an object connection of EcoActionObjectConn and EcrObjectConn on the RoutingHead and DocIssue logical units. I’ve refreshed the object connection cache but when I go to the Change Request screen and into the object connection tab, I do see the RoutingHead LU but it does not seem to be pulling in a default drop down list of object keys. it’s the same story with the DocIssue LU.Is there a reason for this? It seems to work with the EngPartRevision LU. See image below.I just hope to get a better understanding if there’s something I potentially missed or if this is some sort of bug. Thank you.

IFS Cloud lobby - Error with variable substitutions (DATES)

Hi, In designing lobbies in IFS Cloud we could use variable substitutions such as ‘#START_OF_THIS_WEEK#’. I encountered an issue when we use these variables in WHERE conditions with - (days). e.g. if we have a criteria to take the date before the start of the week, I would think that this would work. ‘#START_OF_THIS_WEEK#’ -1 but we ended up here with the following error. but, if we use the database method to retrieve the same value here. it works fine. Am I doing something wrong with the use of these substitution variables? or is this a bug? If we use the variables alone they works fine.

Report Designer - Avoid printing blank page

I have a report in IFS Report Designer, and I want it to only display a table if there is data in it. Currently, if the table doesn't contain any data, the report still prints a blank space or page. How can I modify the report so that the table only appears when there is data to display? I tried playing around with page break functionality but that doesn’t seem to fix the issue. I assume I have to set up condition but I do not exactly know how to figure out the correct expression to add there...any idea?

Custom fields are showing as mandatory after 24R2 upgrade

Hello,we have done IFS cloud upgrade from 23R1 to 24R2 in use place environments and we noticed that after upgrading ,in the screen we are getting non mandatory custom fields shown as mandatory (please refer below snapshot) ,we have checked in page designer this fields are not set as required. if we try to save it without entering value for that field ,still record is getting saved but it creates the confusion to user and we need to avoid that.please help if anyone has encountered this issue or any suggestions for the same.Regards,Gaurav

AssystETM - variables as substitution keywords

Hi everyone, I am setting a datamapper in AssystETM to create an event based on the import of a mail.I set the datamapper and I can create the event without particular problems with the “standard” values of an event (affected user, mail, item, etc.).Now, I would like to also track the To and CC fields of the mail I’m importing; the final result I wish to achieve is to have all these fields and to be able to insert them in an action template that I can use, for example, with a mail to customer action.For that scope, i will need to create at least 3 substitution keywords to be used (one for the To filed, one for Cc and one that combines them).I was already able to create a variable in my datamapper to extract the required fields, but now I am struggling creating the keywords.I started creating a variable in my datamapper, but I can’t find any information regarding using datamapper variables as substitution keyword. Do you know if that is possible?I’d like to use variables if I am capable

Exclude Non inventory Sales Part from shipment

Dear All, In the past, when we released a CO with Shipment type ‘NR’, IFS would automatically create a shipment for all CO Lines, but would exclude the Non-inventory items. In recent versions of IFS cloud, the non inventory items are added to the shipment. But is this a setting or not? In my current case, this is absolutely not desired by the client, and I was hoping since it was not like this in the past that this would be controlled by a setting on the Company/Site or some Basic Data. Contact of Account with Category of Other not Connected to Business Opportunity

IFS Cloud 24R2;The scenario is such that there is a Business Opportunity for an Account and this is driven by a Consulting firm, I wish to add this Consulting firm as a Contact on the Business Opportunity. I have created a new Business Opportunity using the following steps :1.Using the New Business Opportunity wizard 2.Added Mandatory Description , selected and Account and Currency3.Viewed the Business Opportunity4.In the Contacts section, I have added a new contact 5.Selected an Account whose Category is ‘Other’6.Selected a Contact for that Account7.Application prompt - Do you want to add this account into related accounts - selected yes8.Contact line and Related Accounts line is populated correctly. Problem :When I go into the Account Contact screen for the additional contact I added, the Business Oppotunity section does not show the Business Opportunity to which this Contact was added.In addition, when I press the Connect Command Button and attempt to link the Business Opportunity,

Navigation with Datasource Condition performance problem

Hello, I’ve created a lobby with SQL data source that takes under 1 second to run.But when I add navigation on this element to page/PurchaseDeliveryStatistics/List with Datasource Condition it takes up to 20-30 seconds to list the result.How can I improve that?
