About SRM-Panel
Contacts, meetings and e-mails are often administrated from Outlook. Some users spend a lot of their time in Outlook and would like to have access to their daily work tasks from there. With the Outlook add-in "SRM-Panel", users can perform many of their daily tasks directly from Outlook. The SRM-Panel allows you to work with contacts and activities. You can save e-mails from outlook to IFS Applications by using the SRM-Panel. When you need to leave Outlook there is a context driven navigation to Aurena so you will get directly to the right contact or activity etc.
The SRM-Panel is based on the recipient list of the highlighted mail or the attendees list of an appointment and it shows data from IFS Applications. Click on the name to navigate to a more detailed view of the contact. If recipients/attendees don't exist in IFS Applications, they can be registered as contacts in the SRM-Panel. You can also edit the contact, call via phone or mobile or send a mail. Create a new activity based on the mail content and attach the highlighted mail to the activity. In the details page you can also view and filter the latest activities and business mails for the contact. Collapse and expand the different sections to see additional info in the SRM-Panel (configure what sections to show) or navigate to Aurena to continue working from there.
The SRM-Panel can also give you as a representative an overview of your contacts and activities. Click on your name in the recipient/attendees list to navigate to the representative details page.
Save to SRM is used to save a mail to IFS Applications. The highlighted mail will be saved as a Business Mail and the sender and recipients will be connected as references.
Send and Save is available from compose mode. The SRM-Panel is available in compose mode and you can search for a contact in IFS Applications when composing the mail. This is also available when handling appointments.
The SRM-Panel is built on Microsoft technology and platform. Microsoft Office add-ins can be used for extend office applications and interact with content in office documents. Office Add-ins can do almost anything a webpage can do inside a browser. This can be built for Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Project and Outlook. The SRM-Panel is available only for Outlook. Aurena controls are not used in IFS SRM-Panel instead we use Microsoft related libraries (Office UI Fabric framework). SRM-Panel is available in a number of platforms. There are some slight differences in capabilities and features between platforms based on platform characteristics.
