Hi Guys !

 

I want to ask something related to IFS Development Tools in Visual Studio.

How do I change the database connection when doing a Start Presentation Object Scan?

For example, previously I used database connection A and wanted to change the connection to database B.

Can anyone help me?

Hi @rendywinata_,

Can you try the following steps?
1. Open a form window or a table window in designer mode and "Switch Database" from the Dataset Toolbox.
Enter the new URL and click OK and then login.


2. Clean Solution > Build Solution > Press and hold Shift key from the keyboard and then click on Start.
Keep holding the shift key until you get the Connect To login dialog.
Enter the new URL and click OK and then login.
Exit the EE application.

 


3. Perform the presentation object scanning now.
It should switch to the new database connection.
