Does anyone know if a document attachment in IFS can be added to a report or automated email?
Here is our situation, but the applications are many. We have approval drawings attached to parts in IFS. If the part is entered on a Business Opportunity or Customer Order, we want that approval drawing as part of the Quotation Document generated by the Business Op or the Order Acknowledgement.
btw - we are on Apps 10.

Check following blog post on adding the document as attachments to event email. It’s done for App8 but should work fine with Apps10 as well.

I don’t think it’s possible to print the documents attached with the report but in some reports it’s possible to print the media attachments (eg: NCR report). You might need to check whether your report is ‘enabled’ to print media.

This can be done using Crystal report.
Media and documents can be attached.
