Insights (Business Reporter and Analysis Models, EOI)

I am new to Crystal Reports.Could I call APIs functions to create Crystal Reports or build my own custom API and call it in a Crystal report? or  do I need to build only IAL? Another quick question. Our system has many IALs built by our old developer. How could I see the SQL written to build the IAL?  When I access the IAL Object Developer I cannot populate the code. See screenshot 1 for more details.Screenshot1.- However, I can see in IAL Configuration that we have 89 IALs. How could I see the code for each one of the IALs? See Screenshot 2 Screenshot 2 

almighty community, i am trying to build an inventory aging report using IFS Business Reporter. i am trying to use Receipt Date this column in Inventory Part in Stock window as a calculation base.  but i cannot find this field any where in below 3 data sources.Inventory Transaction History Inventory TurnOver Total Inventory Valuekindly advise. Thank you.

Does anybody know whether it is possible to create an email alert that should fire when IFS Business Reporter Execution Server status stops. I tried to create an alert on XLR_BAES_TAB when Active = 0 but when the Business Reporter Execution Server stops on the Report Server the XLR_BAES_TAB Active column isn’t changing from 1 to 0. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Hey all, We have a crystal report that handles our Customer Orders (Report Definition: CUSTOMER_ORDER_IVC_REP). I’m just wondering is it possible when a user uses the print dialogue box in IFS to email a Customer Order to themselves that the PDF has the invoice number in the title?E.g in the box below:ExampleKind Regards,Ryan

Hi,Version - Applications 10 Update 8We recently configured BRES by closely following IFS Documentation. The excel report is getting rendered but without any data. I see the following errors in the BRES log:I tried all workarounds incl. the one for COM Factory Class error but no luck so far.Any direction in this regard is very much appreciated.

Hello, I have one strange thing happening with IFS. Sometimes fields in Shop Order screen are blacked out. (See screenshot.) the user can see the information if is clicked on the cell.  Any idea how I can fix this? We’re still under Apps8     With respect,    Andre 

We are using app 9 and we made lobbies. There is not any problem with data or images from the desktop. But in the web lobby, some of the data of elements are not seen. On the mobile side, Android phones show images but, iPhones are not. Also, mobile devices not shown some of the data of some elements.  Has anyone faced this?

Hello Community, I have an issue all the time when I try to run a crystal report in IFS is asking for log-in information. See Fig 1for details.I read that I need to add ( \ ) for table and (\\) for view. See Fig 2.  I already ran the script for Crystal XI R2 to be able to add the InvalidAlias and I was able to rename the tables. See Fig 3. However, when I try to run the report one more time still asking for log in information one more time.What else do I need to do? Please, I need help :-( . FIg1Fig 2Fig 3 

Hi, When creating a BR report the developer has used quick information source which containing the "DIM_ACCOUNT" and “DIM_COMPANY” standard dimensions. Inside the report design, there is a parameter for the account. Since the company is the parent of the account, They have used a company parameter as well.when the user orders that report from IEE, There is no LoV option for the account parameter. When ordering it through the business reporter excel add-on, once click the LoV option of the account parameter it will pop up the company LoV as a prerequisite. (Please note that there is a separate parameter for the company and the user should select the values for the company before selecting the account parameter)This company and account parameter LoVs properly working for some BR reports. Therefore I have compared the dimension joins of both information sources and there is no considerable changes.If you have any suggestions or information regarding this matter please let me know. LoV – L

I create report in crystal reports, after I insert in IFS through “Create new Quick Report” window.In crystal reports I enter multiple parameters. But in IFS how I pass multiple values in single parameter.

After I run a report I am getting the following message:  Any Idea how could I fix the error? 

The following error appeared at 01:19 in the morning when hardly anyone was on the system.The report is scheduled to run.Template rendering Exception:  Unexpected error while calling server method OrderXlrReport/SaveRenderedReport, Exception of type 'System.OutOfMemoryException' was thrown.. Error not related to report design. Therefore report not saved to error folder. Last successful execution log entry: Template file ORDER_INTAKE_AND_SALES_V1_1(215169) closed Any ideas how I can get to the bottom of the “System.OutOfMemoryException” error?Thank you. John

I am looking to upgrade to Crystal Report version 2016, I read the Crystal Report version 2020 is not supported 100% by IFS 9. I am currently using IFS 9

I am wondering how could get the INFO SOURCE data source type to have dropdown option for parameters.  

BR Execution Server Error - Template has design errors.  View trace file for more detailsI located the Error folder and extracted the DSRD file.   Is there an easy way to find where the report is failing. Thanking you.

If the report is ran by the report designer or logged in as IFSAPP the BR report displays figures.We have checked that the report has been granted to the appropriate permission set. When the user orders the report using Order Reports the report is processed and a message is displayed prompted whether or not you wish to view the report.   On viewing the report no data is being displayed. Any ideas?

IFSSSRS extension certification question on Apps10.Please let me know if the IFS SSRS Extension is certified for SQL Server 2019 standard edition on Apps10 track. I have seen certification and installed IFS SSRS Extension on SQL Server 2016 and 2017 on Apps10, but I have not seen certification for SQL Server 2019. I have used SetupIFSReportDataExtension.exe file previously for SQL Serve 2016 and 2017 SSRS extension installation on Apps10.
